This cafe is so cute! I stopped here on my way back to Massachusetts as it wasn't too far off the highway. First of all, it's on a cute little Main Street that has some historical signs and statues which I love to see. There's parking on the road and we did not have trouble getting a spot despite it being a weekend. They have some offerings in a couple fridges such as pastries and yogurt and there is a sandwich and drink menu. I ordered the ham and jam on a croissant, which is ham and raspberry with Brie I believe. It needed more cheese and less jam I would say. I still enjoyed it though! I had a tough time picking a sandwich because there are so many good options! My pistachio latte was also really good, and they had some good coffee specials. They'll call your order when it's ready and you can bring it to one of the tables they have in the small dining room. It's really cute inside with a stately fireplace, and people were doing work or catching up with friends. You could also sit out on the porch but it was a wintry April... but so bet it's great in the summer! read more

Decent food and coffee. Friendly service. Outrageously expensive. Cold coffee comes in cheap plastic cups that crack easily, so much so, that ensuring the lid was on securely caused the whole 20oz cup to crumble and crack and lost my $10 coffee while in store. We then had to buy another $10 coffee (which also had a crack and was leaking coffee) to replace the one we lost due to the cheap plastic cups, would've been less aggravating if they replaced the coffee at no cost. TLDR: Decent food, coffee, and service. Very overpriced. Cheap breakable plastic cups for coffee cold. read more

unfortunately this spot has ruined breakfast for me because nothing can compare. stopped here randomly on the way up to sugar bush and first of all, the cinnamon bun?????? i've never tasted anything like it. like the frosting, the texture, is exactly how a cinnamon bun is meant to be. showed up at 8am and it was freaking warm and fresh too ugh. I'm kinda sad because it ruined my baseline expectation for cinnamon buns and i can't ever eat one again without thinking about this. Also... the breakfast wrap!!! the texture of the eggs was like delightful soft scramble + amazing cheddar + a tiny hint of spice from the salsa. Great spot, awesome sandwiches and yummy coffee. Came over here on Sunday looking for an after-church lunch spot. On a gorgeous Fall day, the foliage in full color. Cafe One East is in the center of town. Walking distance to the book store, the Historical Society, and the several boutique stores in the area. The ambiance was vibrant and friendly. I had one great breakfast sandwich on a bagel with eggs, avocado, pesto and cheese. And an almond milk cappuccino. Superb. Friendly staff, great food. read more

Great spot for high quality homemade breakfast sandwiches. Great vibes and a welcoming atmosphere inside and out. We sat at a picnic table in the lawn and enjoyed the Fall weather. I tried Crumb to Mama pastries today for the very first time !! I had never been to the Cafe and today I had two that I enjoyed home. These scones were by and large the best scones I had ever had! The best small town coffee shop! The pastries are amazing, the new breakfast sandwich menu has too many amazing options to choose (you can also turn your sandwich into a bowl with hashbrowns instead of bread), and the coffee is excellent. A great space to come and relax with games to play, corn hole on the front lawn, and a front porch full of rocking chairs to relax in. Fuel up before climbing Kearsarge mountain (or driving to the top at Rollins State Park), visit the Kearsarge Indian Museum and walk the herbal medicine trails, peruse Warner's bookstore Mainstreet Bookends, or visit Pumpkin HIll Lavender farm in the summer.
