Today, I thoroughly enjoyed a Tucker Time breakfast.... Eggs (over medium, perfected executed), hash browns (one would think pretty routine, but these puppies stood out today. Proper level of crispness, with a dash of pepper and pink sea salt - I think!), perfectly crisp bacon and two house pancakes (a total Yum, and try as I might, I could only eat one) All accompanied by a very decent mug of medium roast coffee. I absolutely loved this meal. It was excellently provided by Madison's warm, smiling and fully attentive service. Tucker's itself is warm, inviting and represents the best of New England charm. An iconic breakfast/lunch/brunch in the Lake Sunapee/Kearsarge area. Yes, the lines are long and waiting times can exceed 20 minutes. But the service, food and quality more than make up for it. We came over here after a long walk from home. Normally, you give The attendant your cell number and they text you when your table is ready, provided all guests are together. Amazingly, after being told we'd have a long wait, the attendant told us a group exceeded their time and provided us with a table We had the nicest, most cheerful and energetic server ever. She turned the day into a ray of sunshine. The code is excellent, the veggie omelet was delicious, and the ambiance was happy and busy. As usual, we left satiated and full. Was really happy with the food here! Menu was huge. So hard to choose. Drinks also looked amazing. Can get way more than just a black coffee here. The breakfast burrito was great. Perfect size and I liked the crunch from the hash browns and the veggies in there too. My mom liked the garden bowl but said there was a bit too much balsamic on top. Servers were very nice. Came on a Saturday at 12 and were able to be seated right away. Something for everyone here. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend if you are in the area! read more

Tucker's is an extremely popular breakfast/ brunch/lunch spot for locals and travelers alike. If you are going between 10am-12pm, expect a wait, and possibly to use street parking because the parking lot is rather small (not easy to turn around in if other patrons are also looking for parking). That said, the coffee, food, and service are worth it! There are two seating rooms and one of them opens out to restrooms and a very small shopping/business mall. The tables and chairs are thick, heavy, rustic wood reminiscent of a country kitchen, and the acoustics are pretty good! No echoes or a need to yell to friends or family at your own table. The service is stellar! Lots of students work here and they are top notch. The food is outstanding. Their hash browns are literally the best I have ever had. They are wispy and crispy, and will not leave grease on your plate or in your belly. The eggs are always perfect, no matter how you ask for them, and the pancakes are the best you can get without making them yourself at home. They are served with a syrup, but for $2.00 extra (at the time of this posting), you can get real maple syrup instead. By the way, their coffee is not limited to regular and decaf. There is a delightful coffee drinks menu for options to enjoy at your table or to go! Tucker's also does take out, so you really have not excuse to miss this delightful place. read more

Checking out New London and went in for breakfast about 9:30. Pretty easy to get a table, although I'm sure it could get crowded. We started with coffee, and it was good and really hot! I had the TJ's Irish Benny - a take on eggs Benedict with corned beef hash. Really good and flavorful, and everything was cooked perfectly. The hash was neither the canned variety nor stringy and tough. Really good. I had hash browns which were also good. Way too much food! My wife had the New England breakfast, and she enjoyed it. Food: I got the harvest scramble and my partner got the Sedona scramble, both were quite good! I often am underwhelmed by bland hollandaise but theirs was so flavorful and plentiful. The scramble was a solid portion and I had it for breakfast and lunch. Value: Reasonably priced for good portions, would say good value. This was an exceptional breakfast! We started with the Blueberry Coffee Cake, which, paired with a hot cup of drip coffee, was perfect. It's a large helping of the cake and would have been a great meal by itself. As we had a long day ahead, I also got the Smashed Avocado Bowl, another huge helping packed with quality ingredients and lots of flavor. We came here for brunch on our road trip to Maine. It's a neat spot for food. It was quite busy for a Wednesday. We love the outdoor seating and friendly service. They have a wide selection of fusion food. The food tastes good and my boyfriend loves the coffee. I was a little disappointed in the clam chowder. It was not as delicious as expected. Tucker's is our local GO TO but we haven't been recently because of the surge in covid infections. Can't believe I had not reviewed this amazing establishment! Looking for a delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch that is consistently great- look no further! Tucker's is it! I'm a big fan of the sandwiches (veggie caprese and the club are my favorites) and anything in the breakfast menu (belgian waffle and french toast are amazing) but today I tried something different, and was not disappointed! I ordered the Tucker's Classic and substituted the house potatoes for the red quinoa hash browns. The scrambled eggs were fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. The hash browns were delicious and flavorful (and healthy! love the kale!). Our server offered to grill my english muffin rather than toast it and it was sooooo good- soft and super fresh on the inside but had a nice crispy buttery grilled exterior. I don't think I will ever have a toasted english muffin again! Which brings me to the service at Tucker's. We are always greeted with very cheery and kind waitstaff and attended to right away. Our server today was all smiles and very sweet. She was attentive and checked on us just the right amount of times. Fast service and hot food. Can't go wrong with this place!
