When I brought it back to execute the written warranty I paid for, the store-level experience was incredibly frustrating. ​The employee on duty attempted to twist the terms of the written agreement, telling me that if they gave me a replacement battery, it would carry absolutely no warranty moving forward. Because they refused to honor the clear terms on the spot without stripping my future protection, I was forced to leave, drive to a competitor (Advance Auto Parts), and spend $286.61 out of pocket just to get my vehicle safely back on the road. ​To protect my rights, I formally escalated this entire paper trail up the corporate ladder, eventually reaching out directly to the company President, Dennis Norris. To the corporate office's credit, they immediately recognized the error, bypassed the store's narrative, and issued a full $233.19 refund for the merchandise. ​However, I allowed this business ample opportunity to make the entire situation right. Instead, the staff on duty stonewalled me and corporate decided to pick and choose at their convenience what my loss was. When I requested reasonable reimbursement for their employee's mistake and my forced extra expenses, they flat out responded with "denied." ​If you want a warranty that is honored without a fight, take your business down the street.

Due to her declining health and decreased eyesight, she hardly ever used it. So I took it home, reset it and figured I'd get some use out of it. Except that I didn't realize she kept that sucker plugged in ALL THE TIME. That killed the battery. I could use it for about 15 minutes after being fully charged before it shut itself off due to a low battery. Frustration! Who knew that Batteries Plus Bulbs was able to replace an iPad battery? I certainly didn't, until I asked when I went in to replace a battery on my car's key fob. Sure enough, they do! I brought the iPad with me, they assessed which battery I would need and told me it would need to be pre-paid and ordered. $99 total cost (plus tax, of course). About 2 weeks later, I get a call that the battery is in. Bring the iPad in, leave it with them for a day and the battery is now replaced. Well, I haven't charged it in nearly a week - and the battery level is still in the 80 percent range. Wow! I can actually USE this iPad now. Cost was a lot less expensive than bringing it to Apple (and since it was out of warranty, there was no coverage available), and this location is a whole lot easier to get to than going to the Apple Store in the mall. Pleasant service, great communication - and I now have a truly working iPad!

I wish they were open on Saturday, though, or even an hour later on one of the days they're already open. The staff is fairly friendly here, and will generally help you out if you need it. Don't go to them for Auto repairs. They will work on your car without authorization and charge you…read moreon the extra repairs. My Ford escape brakes they didn't hesitate on saying they could fix them. I approved the first quote of 444$ to replace the routers and the right front caliber. The next day they called and said that with the rust damage to the left front caliber would need to be replaced as well. I approved this repair and now the total was 601$. I thought that was fair and reasonable. Was told the car would be ready on Tuesday afternoon. They called on Tuesday afternoon and said they weren't having difficulties with the brakes and would need more time. I said take all the time you need but verified that I wasn't paying more than the 601$ I had approved. They called Thursday afternoon and tell me the car is ready for pickup. I walk in and now the total is 994$!!!! I asked who authorized the additional repairs? Because I did not. I had to pay an extra 390$ of repairs without my approval. They didn't even try to offer to lower the bill, you would think if you made an error and did repairs without authorization the shop would at least eat the labor costs. I paid the full amount but in protest. I would use caution and make sure you get everything in writing and approved before you have your car repaired at Golden Eagle!

They have batteries for autos, lawnmowers, motorcycles, generators, etc. I've been by here a bunch of times but always thought of it as a battery recycling business which they do, but I didn't realize they also sold all types pod batteries! So if your looking for a battery you can't find at your local auto parts store your best bet would be to give the folks at Golden Eagle Battery a try! They probably have it in stock!

Sure glad we did. They had just what we needed in addition to a wide selection of other odd sized batteries as well as all the regular batteries you might need. We also found out that Batteries Plus also sells and programs keys for your car and at a much better price than the dealer does. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I think we will be returning to Batteries Plus in the future for any of our battery needs.
