​I am writing this to warn local consumers about the warranty practices at this location. I purchased a battery here that failed after only seven months of normal use. When I brought it back to execute the written warranty I paid for, the store-level experience was incredibly frustrating. ​The employee on duty attempted to twist the terms of the written agreement, telling me that if they gave me a replacement battery, it would carry absolutely no warranty moving forward. Because they refused to honor the clear terms on the spot without stripping my future protection, I was forced to leave, drive to a competitor (Advance Auto Parts), and spend $286.61 out of pocket just to get my vehicle safely back on the road. ​To protect my rights, I formally escalated this entire paper trail up the corporate ladder, eventually reaching out directly to the company President, Dennis Norris. To the corporate office's credit, they immediately recognized the error, bypassed the store's narrative, and issued a full $233.19 refund for the merchandise. ​However, I allowed this business ample opportunity to make the entire situation right. Instead, the staff on duty stonewalled me and corporate decided to pick and choose at their convenience what my loss was. When I requested reasonable reimbursement for their employee's mistake and my forced extra expenses, they flat out responded with "denied." ​If you want a warranty that is honored without a fight, take your business down the street. read more

Dwight is the goat! he fixed my battery in 100 degree weather with no complaint whatsoever. My car stopped working and after having someone come check my car out I saw that I needed a new battery for my push to start (which shook me I thought I only had one battery in my car). I live very close to this battery plus but they had just ran out of the battery I needed so I had to go to the other one that was at the time 40 minutes away traffic included. I wasn't able to take my car I had to get driven there and buy it then put it in my car. I was distressed because Im a woman that doesn't know how to do anything involving cars at all. I got dropped at home to get my car jumped and went to the battery plus by my house praying that one my car doesn't stop.. and two that someone will be able to help me install it. Dwight with no hesitation came outside stood in that heat and put my battery in for me. I don't recommend replacing a suburban battery here. It's too complicated for their staff to install. One of the employees just told me "I personally would not have installed this battery" when I asked him to help the other employee with this 2 person job that was taking the first installer over 30 minutes. My husband ended up helping the employee install it because the other employee wouldn't help his associate out. read more

Polite guys who spoke clear English sold me a battery for my high end 2 year old Sony laptop but alas the power supply must have fried the motherboard according to the Sony website, no battery could perform a miracle, thank you Sony. Battery price $97, if it had worked would have been many hallelujahs from me. In 48 hours I returned the battery with receipt, no questions asked, outstanding customer service, no tricks, magic, just grand customer service, finally. Sadly, they lost a customer today. I used to like this place. I called to get the details on getting my phone screen replaced. They told me it would take 2 hours and gave me a fair price. I took off work early to get there in time for them to have 3 hours to work on it just in case. The gentleman behind the counter told me my phone would need the back replaced too for another $90. I was disappointed that this was not mentioned to me on the phone, but okay. Then he tells me it would be 4 hours which meant it would not be done today. I told him I had been told 2 hours and that I took off work early to give him 3 hours. He just shrugged his shoulders and told me that he doesn't usually work at this store but they should have said 3 hours when fully staffed. Then he tells me how they are short staffed and he could not handle the work while waiting on anyone who came in the door. Honestly, he didn't want to be bothered at the end of the day. He worked very hard at convincing me not to get the work done. It was not my fault they were short handed. My car battery is 26 months into a 4 year free replacement warranty. I had it tested recently and they said the voltage is too low to replace under warranty. HOWEVER, the warranty information on the back of the receipt does not state (nor does it imply) any specifics about voltage requirement to honor said warranty. This is a gross misrepresentation of their warranty, and now has the appearance of overpayment for a battery I did not get the full benefit of. They were not willing to offset any costs, just that I would be required to purchase a new battery. This is not an acceptable answer. I will NOT be doing battery business of ANY type with this place in the future; no matter how attractive their prices are, especially if they don't honor their warranties. read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU A ZERO!!!!!!! This is first time I have EVER written a review as a complaint but absolutely necessary. Basically they stole my money and lied to me. I had my iPhone X fixed and they had really great customer service. When I got home the touch screen did not work so took it back and they again were great and ordered the new Apple Screen. They Manager called to let me know the phone was ready for pick up and I asked if they put on the new screen and was advised they had but when I pushed them they admitted they did not replace the screen and basically lied about it. I told them to put on the new screen and the Manager reluctantly did. I also asked them to replace the screen protector that I paid $35 for and they did not replace that either. They put the new screen on the phone and it still did not work. My original screen that was cracked had absolutely no problems at all, just didn't want the cracks as I have small children. I asked the staff to have the owner of the store call me, which he did. His first words out of his mouth were - What do you expect me to do with this and that he wasn't putting on a new screen and there is nothing they would do. When you get that answer what else can you do. He said it must be my phone and that "S@@T Happens" sometimes. Great response from an owner of a company. Pathetic. He did promise to refund the cost of the Screen protector which is now more than a month ago and is not refunded yet. My phone was still having major issues. Couldn't pick up calls, couldn't swipe, basically my phone was a waste of time. I bit the bullet and went to the Apple store yesterday and paid over $300 to put on a new screen. APPLE ADVISED ME THE SCREEN WAS NOT AN APPLE SCREEN AND WAS A VERY BAD REPLICA THAT SHOUDL NOT HAVE BEEN PUT ON MY PHONE. They replaced the screen and everything is working perfectly. This company lies, steals your money, does not put the customer first and uses inferior products, so be wary and go somewhere else for your repairs. I was recommended this place by a good friend when they noticed my watch was at a standstill and needed a new battery. She handed me a coupon and said they'd take care of me, and to my surprise they did, really fast and courteous. I was greeted on the way in, showed them my watch, an MK, and was told they normally dont do watches over $150 but they would try and within 5 mintues he came back and it was working just fine. I had a great experience with this company! I took my car remote in to replace the battery and few months ago, and the guy replacing the battery actually broke the spring on the remote. So, I was in a hurry and left with a broken remote, but it still worked. A couple of weeks ago I decided to get it replaced, and called the car dealership, they wanted $300. So, I took a chance and called Batteries Plus Bulbs, Lakeeta answered and was very concerned and helpful, she told me to email the owner. I think I would give a "No Star" if it was available. I went there to get a battery put in a vintage clock that is about 40 years old. It was in great shape, but just needed a new hearing aid style battery put in. I handed it to the man and he immediately almost dropped it. I helped him catch it, and thought - Whew! Then he turned around an dropped it onto the tile floor, not once but twice! My husband and I were simply dumbfounded, and I knew that anything that I said at that moment would probably be something I shouldn't say to someone, so we just gathered the pieces of the clock and left. I got a VERY small half baked attempt at an apology from the man, and nothing else. Not any type of offer of restitution, or anything. He just destroyed my adorable little clock, and I was left with the broken pieces. It is vintage, so it isn't like I can just buy another one! So unfair, and unnecessary!! I wouldn't take anything there again if my life depended on it. The dude seriously has a problem with his hands or something and really shouldn't be handling anything delicate or breakable.
