Decent option for business travelers in financial services due to location. Check in and check out were slow and tedious but that could have been more situational than anything. Reasonable room service. Black mold has literally taken over portions of the shower wall in 2903. read more

Beautiful and very stylish hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever met. Big room with a stunning view over the harbor, huge bathroom and prompt room service. The restaurant, Toro Toro, has an amazing menu, great wine list and very nice ambience. The huge Henry Moore sculpture in the atrium/lobby is spectacular, it's very nice to see high-end art in such a beautiful setting. The Blue Water poolside/waterfront restaurant has the most mesmerizing view in Miami, and a perfect menu to go with it. Next time I'm back in Miami - this is where I'll stay. read more

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is beautiful. The moment you walk in you're impressed with the ambiance. The valet is incredibly nice and helpful. Everything is clean and modern and it's within walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars, and close to the bridge to south beach. However, I am rating the hotel this low because the staff was so rude. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and have had terrible customer service before but this place takes the cake. I arrived on a Friday afternoon at 3:45p.m. and had an interview with a firm in Miami Beach at 5pm. I understood that their check in was at 4, but asked what time I could get into the room and the woman checking me in rudely asserted that I would not be able to check in right at 4pm but wouldn't give me an estimate on what time. When she gave me a paper to sign I began to read it and she practically yelled at me to "just sign it." Since I needed to be ready to leave soon and had no idea what time I would get into the room, I decided to get ready in the lobby bathroom. Everything in the bathroom was soaking wet which made the process difficult, and there was a woman in there getting sick the entire time. They called me when my room was ready at 4:10pm and even though I had already "checked in" this process took another 5-10 minutes. Nobody was there to help me with my bags to take the room. When I checked out I had the same rude service, and the busboy acted like it was a chore to help me with my bags so I told him to forget it. I'm not sure if the fact that I paid through priceline and that I'm in my mid-twenties had anything to do with the way i was treated. Also, there's an extra fee for everything including the hotel gym($15/person), parking ($40/night), and wifi (I think it was $18/day), which makes you wonder what you're paying for at all. For the money, I would not recommend this place at all, and I will never book this hotel again. read more

This is best hotel I have ever lived! I love it so much. With the help of the Guest Experience Specialist--Rodrigo, I enjoyed the beauty of beach and the warm of hotel. It is just like a home! I can say he is best hotel staff I have ever seen! If I were his boss, he would be the perfect employee I need! By the way, he is very handsome and he has a charming smile! I love Miami and the hotel makes an important part of my traveling! Nothing is more important than having a good and warm hotel during the trip! Inter continental gives what I need and I think I will choose this brand in the future. Everyone knows that there are many different kinds of fruits in Miami. I bought many, like coconut, mangos and papayas. I really don't know what should I do when I try to eat the meat of coconut. So I have to ask Rodrigo for help. He founds the chef Eric Do and Eric helped me to cut! Except coconut, I don't know what should I do on such a big papaya. Then I have to ask Rodrigo and Eric again! I thought they would help me to cut. But no! Eric pearl the papaya and cut it into so many small cuts. They are so kind and considerable. I was so touched and moved when I saw my papaya! Thank Eric, Thank Rodrigo! So you can ask Eric for help when you have problems on fruit when you choose Intercontinental in Miami! Of course, don't hesitate to ask Rodrigo for help when you are there! read more

Overall EXCELLENT experience: Location is great, walking distance to town, no swimmable beach area though Very modern sleek look and feel Service was great! Arrived around noon (room was not ready yet but did not expect it to be that early) and allowed us access to the pool and stored our luggage while waiting for room. Had lunch on 5th floor at pool restaurant (Blue Water) food was pretty good, service was good as well. Had an issue with credit card machine and comped an item on bill for the long wait. [Quick Tip: 18% gratuity is precharged to bill, seems to be a common practice throughout downtown Miami] Able to get into the room by 2 pm and luggage was sent up. Rooms were clean, great view, (had harbor view room), spacious. Staff extremely friendly and polite, any staff member that passing by on the way to room smiled and acknowledged us. Anything we asked for to help us make our stay better was provided by all the staff members. Check out smooth and effective. Recurring theme: service, service, service ******* HONORABLE MENTIONS: ******** - Rodrigo aka Rockin' Rodrigo aka Hot Rod: He displayed a true model of professionalism as he stood watch over his vanguard...the front desk. He had great attitude, demeanor, and was one of the friendliest people I've met at a hotel, and I travel quite a bit. Extremely accommodating, taking down our phone number so he could call us as soon as our room was ready; continued to greet us by name throughout the stay. - Ilana (sp?) Over at the concierge. Asked her if any umbrellas were available to borrow, and instead of the usual 'go to the gift shop' she went to the back and found one for us. She then said we could use it as long as we needed and that she would be there all night. - Sam Late night valet/bellman/doorman/onemanarmy. Went above and beyond to reiterate the already great impression we had of the spectacular service there. With Sam at his post, one can walk eyes closed, arms full, and be unafraid to walk forward; those doors will be open by the time you step through. - Carlos Valet. Went out of his way to ensure our stay at the Intercontinental would be a home away from home. And a little bit of of home is always nice when traveling on business. Good looking out! - Lili Front desk. Her cheerful attitude and quick thinking at check out was just the way to wrap up a great trip. - Unknown Catering manger or floor service manager? Saw him on the expo floor and pool level during private event. Can't remember his name but he was notably accommodating and friendly. Props. *** Thank you everyone for making the trip a great experience!! **** read more

We stayed at the Intercontinental for 3 nights and LOVED it! The hotel is big and beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful. We were close to everywhere we needed to go and the view of the bay was gorgeous. The rooms were a good size and the bathroom was HUGE! Stayed before a cruise. Had a great view of the port from the 8th floor. Nothing went wrong with reservations (booked through hotwire). You do pay for either parking or valet. The valet were courteous and always had our car up in a timely manner. No complaints! Just don't touch the mini bar! It automatically charges your room. The front desk took the charges off without any problems! :) read more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on April 7-9 for our honeymoon. The front desk clerk gave us a free room upgrade so that we could have a view of the water and of Miami Beach. She also waived the $10 Hotel Service Fee. Although we were not able to get the parking fee waived, the manager was able to lower our daily parking cost to $25 and he provided us with two coupons for free drinks at Starbucks. Although he was not able to provide us with free breakfast, the manager was courteous and respectful to us. For others who decide to stay at this hotel, please keep in mind that the staff at check-out will not know about the perks that the check-in staff provided. We had to to explain to the staff at check-out about the discounted parking and waived Hotel Service Fee. They then had to contact the front desk clerk who had checked us in to confirm. Just be patient and understanding with them. We really enjoyed the hotel stay. The hotel room had a nice view of the water and Miami Beach. The room was quiet, comfortable, and luxurious. It was a great choice for our honeymoon and we will definitely consider staying here again. read more

Stayed at the Intercontinental June 2 - 6 to attend a Spinning Conference. If you plan to stay at this venue, do not use "secured," wi-fi services. It appears after I made online financial transaction via my personal laptop, hacker(s) successfully retrieved my debit card numbers and made several purchases. However, one bank suspected fraud and did not approve the transactions. I was not as fortunate with my other debit account. Investigations by the bank's frauds departments are underway. I reported the incident to hotel representatives, including folks in the security department. I filed a police report as well. Both the hotel and security departments are conducting investigations. The overall hotel experience was mediocre--older rooms, limited food choices, untrained spa staff, and disinterested staff, in general. Naturally, the hacking incident disrupted my experience. Unless I have to, it's not likely I will stay at an Intercontinental property in the future. read more

I would like to first share how fantastic the views are, inside and out! There are a plethora of shops in the area and you are a stone's throw from Star Island. The service was impeccable! I was floored each and every time I came in contact with the service team. Such gracious and kind team members and a seamless experience from start to end. This time was business, but next time will be pleasure!!!! I read a post mentioning the charge for internet, I was offered a complimentary pin to access the internet and to be honest, I would have paid for it with no hesitation because everything else was flawless. read more

Awful 4th of July weekend. They charge you for every little thing, but under-deliver. Had my magazines stolen by housekeeping, they claimed I threw it away. If I did, why did they pick the garbage for my magazines and leave the trash there. Later the magazines were returned, original one with my address on the front cover. Very strange. Hotel guests were not allowed to watch the fireworks from the 5th level pool area, because last year there was trouble at the bar. That was last year and instead of management controlling the issue, they decided to shut it down for all hotel guests this year. Seems like a simple way out! So we went to Bayside (conveniently nearby) but as soon as the fireworks were done we waiting in a long line for elevators and every single elevator was jam-packed. A few including the one I was in became stuck. Very hot for over 20 minutes trapped inside the elevator with a pregnant lady and heard the news the others were stuck as well, so they were getting to our elevator when they could. Overall management certainly could have better controlled the crowd, but chose not too. read more

Great location, poor service and poor room temperature. My husband and I stayed over 2days ( may 27 thru 29 th). Our room, the next day wasn't cleaned until 5 pm. When we called the concierge, we were told , the service room goes until 10 pm !!! Made a second call to concierge , then we got our room cleaned. That hotel is too big for a family vacation , you are just a number. Also the fridge is full . No space to cool off one bottle of water. Don't remove a drink to cool yours , we got charged $ 6 by doing so. I am so disappointed and will not recommend that hotel to anyone for a getaway or family vacation. Parking overpriced $ 39 per night. read more

Resting inside the monstrous InterContinental Hotel is myspa. And it's here at myspa that I had the best massage I've ever had. My therapist, Ana, was kind enough to work all the kinks and knots out of my neck, back, legs, arms. She basically made me feel like Jell-O from head to toe. And it was magnificent. The essential oils used in the treatment were not only fragrant, but truly relaxing, too. The spa itself is a beautiful space with dark stone walls, light wood floors, white detailing and lots of running water sounds--a truly tranquil environment. In the lounge, spa-goers will find an array of healthy snacks to munch on before or after their treatment. And then after your massage, you can hop into the drench shower, which is a giant private shower that offers water that falls like rain from the ceiling. Pure bliss. If you have a knot or two or just need some me time, this is a treat you'll be happy you indulged in. They also offer free valet parking for spa-goers. read more

A bit of a flurry coming in. Valet took my bags and gave me tickets for them. Said to go to front desk now to check in and they will bring my bags up. So I was trying to make sure we had everything out of the car that we needed... Spent about 5-10 minutes doing that then went to front desk as advised. Loud music from bar area when u walk in. Went to desk, girl was not overly friendly or anything. It was 5:30 and she said my room was not ready and it showed as being blocked. Whatever the hell that means. She said we could wait about an hour. I was not happy! Just drove 7 hours, it's 5:30, and now they say I have to wait! So I asked if there was another room available. She said yes but it has king beds. And kept giving me this stupid look. So I had to ask if that would cost me more. Um, yes! So then she saw I started getting irritated. So she called up to the housekeeping and she had a room 2 floors higher available then the front desk girl was going to give us. Had room 1001. Nice room with great view of the bay and ship ports. Here is the NEGATIVE : water pressure! Took forever to wash my face! For as much as I pay u can't provide me some water pressure! That's a biggie in my book and I would not come back due to that. Next negative: I left the hotel about a half hour after I got there to walk around. As I left I saw my car still sitting there. Then I realized, the valet never even gave me any sort of ticket or take my name or anything! He just have me luggage tickets and sent me away!! So, thank God I saw this and had them give me a ticket! Ugh! Dumb stuff I should not have to worry about! We only stayed one night as we r going on a cruise the next day. Also, the front desk never told me where the pool was or any other hotel info as usually other hotels always do. They need to train employees properly. read more

BEWARE! We were excited about being able to stay at this hotel on our recent trip to Miami for my step daughter's college graduation. We stay at high end motels when we travel for both business and pleasure. This was our first and will definitely be the LAST time we will stay at a Hotel Intercontinental. Pulling up to this place it looks like it's 4 star rating. The lobby and rooms are nice but, that's where the nice ends with this place. The bad started the moment we pulled up. The valet who handed me the ticket held out his hand and expected a tip and rudely scowled at me when I did not tip. The car was taken away from the location by someone else... That guy earned a tip, not the ticket issue guy. The bell hop was tipped for unloading the car as I do tip for good service. Next we proceeded to the front desk to experience further disappointment. A line of 6 already frustrated guests was ahead of us. After standing in the line for over 45 minutes, it was finally our turn to check in. Both desk attendants had trainee badges on and no other desk attendants were there. Twenty minutes later... We had our keys and we went to our room. The desk attendants were not only lacking in knowledge of their jobs, but were rude. The room seemed nice enough but all through the night we heard water draining down the pipes inside the walls and the a/c rattled like crazy all night long. So a restful evening it was not. Our curious 18 year old son was with us and it seems if any item is touch in the mini bar, whether you eat/drink it or not, you are charged. Everything at this place came with a price... Local calls, pool towels, anything you needed, they had for you but for a lofty price. We are accustom to paying for quality hotels but not being nickel and dimed as excessively as we were at this hotel. My recommendation: stay elsewhere and be able to enjoy your stay. read more

Stayed here after my cruise. This is a full-service hotel with very professional staff that go out of their way to help you. The lobby is beautiful with pretty statues and lightning and there is a Starbucks and a few restaurants there. There is a charge for wifi, however we got it complementary because we signed up for a rewards card upon check-in. The room was fabulous and a good size for a family of four. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great.. The pool area was very nice with a full-service restaurant and bar there. They also have an outdoor walking track. The only turn off that I had was their fitness center was fifteen dollars a day to use so I didn't use it. They also have a full spa which is nice if you want a massage. Overall, this is an above average hotel to stay at. read more

Where do I begin. What a disaster all the way around. The intercontinental was like one of those Chrysler 300s that somebody put a Bentley emblem on. First we check in and find out our reservation has been given away and they only have a double bed room available instead of a king. That was disappointing, but ok...mistakes happen. We go up to the room to order room service. A pizza looked like the perfect thing to smooth over the disappointment of having to sleep in two different beds after a long day of travel. Well the pizza is "currently unavailable." We settle for a club sandwich and a cheesecake. The club was mediocre at best. The cheesecake was pathetic. Store bought cheesecake is gourmet compared to what they brought us. What a waste of money and calories. 16 bucks for some deli meat thrown together and 8 bucks for the worst cheesecake I've ever tasted. All I can think is "what has happened to the intercontinental." I've always expected quality and luxury from them. So far our experience has been anything but... The next day we went to the pool in the morning. It was underwhelming. Small, poorly landscaped, and thoughtlessly placed. Rather than take advantage of the ocean view that is right there, they decided to build a gimmicky dining hall right next to the pool and completely obstruct a picturesque view of the water. But back to our experience...so we're at the pool and we met another couple and started talking. Turns out, they also arrived the day before. They booked their room through Priceline for $80 and when they arrived were given the option of two doubles or a king. I, however, booked the room at the pre negotiated conference price (we combined a work conference into a little vaca) for $208/night. And I was told that the retail value of the room was 398/ night. At the time I believed it. I expected quality, luxury, and service from the intercontinental. That someone could book the same room for $80 a night was unfathomable. Now I understand. This hotel would be a fair deal at about 80-100 a night. At least you would get what you'd expect for the amount you are paying. And the nightmare went on our whole stay. Next morning breakfast: unripened fruit that tasted bitter. Eggs that tasted reheated. The only thing that was decent was the waffle. Even the intercontinental couldn't mess up a waffle I guess. The mini fridge had coconut water in it which was very appreciated the morning after lots of drinking. The seal was broken on the bottle but I was thirsty and my judgement was still slightly impaired. I guess I just trusted the sanctity of the intercontinental mini fridge. I opened it up and started to chug. Worst decision of my life. I still am not sure if some teenager intentionally planted it in the fridge after booby trapping it, or if it was just spoiled. Either way it was terrible and it increased my displeasure with the hotel. The final straw came the next day as I was grabbing lunch before the first day of the conference started. I had 45 minutes to eat before I needed to walk upstairs for the first session. It took 10 minutes at the bar before I could finally flag someone down. Then 20 minutes after ordering I started to get a little concerned. It doesn't take 20 minutes to cook a buffalo burger medium rare. I flag my guy down again and he says they messed it up but will be right out. I wait another 5 or so minutes and at this point I can't wait any longer. I have to go or I will be late. I tell my waiter and he says he will comp my drink and I can grab something quick from the buffet. We're still here and they will probably F more stuff up before we check out, but I just couldn't postpone the joy of writing this review any longer. This hotel is a joke. read more

Pool closed at 8 pm eastern (5pm MST) and we were not allowed on the pool deck at all, had I known that, I wouldn't have booked the hotel. When we arrived at the Fitness Center at 7:30pm, they wouldn't let us work-out, stating they also close at 8pm. Very poor customer service and frankly I feel cheated given we were unable to use the hotel services, paid $208 for a bed for the night. Great location, poor hotel customer service. read more

For some reason, I thought that Intercontinental hotels were toward the high-end of the spectrum, and expected much more of this property. I'm in the middle of a three-night stay, for a conference, and cannot wait to check out. After checking in and getting settled, I noticed there were a few strands of hair in the bathroom, but decided to give them a pass - I'd already unpacked my stuff, and don't like to fuss over things that may easily have been missed by cleaning staff. A day later, it seems the hairs and general lack of cleanliness are systematic... After my shower this morning, I unfolded a towel from the rack, finding a big yellow stain in the middle of it. After the cleaning service today, I returned to find new black hairs -- this time, one even on the toilet seat (my hair is blonde, and I certainly would have noticed this strand last night or this morning). In tidying up the room, they didn't even replace the throw pillows on my bed, instead leaving them strewn across the unused spare bed, leaving me to fear what I can't see, as they obviously aren't cleaning this room with any attention to detail. There are ink and scuff marks all over the furniture. The water pressure in the sink is more like a leak than a steady stream. Room service quotes wait times of 90 minutes -- complaining that they are "very busy tonight" just as they were last night, when the wait was also 90 minutes. I'm 7.5 months pregnant and told them I really needed to eat for this reason; their response to this was that the wait time for my single order of rice would be...90 minutes. There are so many great hotels in Miami. Do yourself a favor: stay somewhere else! read more

MySpa Oxygen Facial.... This was the most frustrating experience in the world. I bought this deal with 2 other girlfriends and we were planning to use the voucher as a group one day in September. We called 2 weeks before our scheduled appointment (first weekend of Sept) to book for all 3 of us. I told the receptionist that we had a Travel Zoo coupon and we needed 3 appointments at the same time. She booked us all for 1pm on Sunday, Sept 18th. On the Thursday before, I received a call telling me that "One girl's spa appointment was moved to 1:45". I called back to ask why she was re-scheduled. They said the made a mistake. Fine, we'll deal with not going at the same time. Then on Friday, I received a call from Sabrina telling me that all of our appointments were wrong. We were all scheduled for 30 min vs. 45 minutes. For that mistake, we would all have to be re-scheduled and there was no more availability that weekend. I said that's ridiculous... just because our appointments were input incorrectly, we will not sacrifice losing our vouchers. So, she said we could come at 5, 5 and 6pm on Sunday. I told her I would have to call my friends and get back to her. I did just that. 15 minutes later, I called Sabrina and asked her to book the 3 of us at 5, 5, and 6pm. Sunday, I showed up at 445 for my 5pm and Mckenzie told me that she did not have me down for an appointment. But if I could wait 15 minutes, they could get me in at 5:15. I told her I was confused because we had originally been booked at 1, then rescheduled to 5 5 and 6... She said that was impossible because they close at 6pm on Sundays... Now I was just livid. I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment that afternoon... The treatment was just average. The woman talked the entire time about how fantastic she is at facials and that I desperately need it and I should come back to get all my facials done by her. Once my treatment was over, Mckenzie at the front desk advises me that I was still booked at 1pm and she had to "refund" the cancellation fee she had already charged me.. Then I was forced to pay a gratuity on the service ($30 on a $59 voucher is ridiculous!!)... Next thing I know, today I check my credit card statement and I was charged the cancellation fee + the gratuity charge of $30... This is absolutely ridiculous. Intercontinental has completely TURNED ME away from them... I will not recommend them to anyone.. I am beyond irritated with how they handled everything... read more

Excellent place to stay, room very comfortable and clean, great view to the bay and near to all kind of shops and restaurants.

Loved our stay here at the InterContinental. I was in Miami during Hurricane Irma and this was the only hotel we could find in the downtown area accepting new reservations. We evacuated to a hotel inland in Ft. Lauderdale and it lost power. We stayed for a couple of days and finally decided to return to Miami. When we got to this hotel, my God it was a sight for sore eyes. The staff was more than accommodating. The food was delicious. I know they had limited staff but the rooms were immaculate. We couldn't have been happier to be here and very thankful they took us in. I will be returning! Special thanks to manager Moira. She was a complete professional and an absolute gem to work with. Would definitely recommend. read more

The hotel is very nice, but the unexpected fees unknowingly was just horrible. You HAVE TO pay for everything the hotel has to offer.. it doesn't matter if you use their services, COFFEE that's in your room OR NOT. there's also a $100 per night holding fee, I didn't see that coming. Be prepared to spend extra money when booking at this hotel. Just a friendly reminder! read more

Extremely disappointed with my stay since I've stayed at this hotel before and I've always had a good experience. Not this time. I was mistreated by an employee named Kelly Garcia at the Loungue who was condescending, belittling, impolite, and overall crass: I could not believe my ears. I escalated the complaint to another employee, Cristina, who was attentive and understanding but I honestly don't think anything will be done about this especially since I've been scrolling through these reviews and this employee's name has come up in reviews for mistreatment of guests several times. How is this acceptable? How does this establishment keep an employee who keeps MISTREATING their guests.....It is unacceptable and from managements lack of action it shows they truly don't care about their guests. Several reviews complaining of guest mistreatment should warrant action, but all they do is comment on the reviews that it won't happen again, but it does. Had action been taken before my stay, I wouldn't have had this atrocious experience. Extremely disappointed with my stay considering I love this hotel but it does not matter how many amenities you offer it's the service that ultimately matters most. read more

My rating is for THE HOTEL not the staff, they get 5 stars. The hotel is very nice. On the outside from the LED underpass to the nice lobby and concierge desk. Staff immediately is friendly from opening your car door for you to helping with luggage and opening doors for you. I was almost embarrassed to be treated so nicely and not have small bills for tips all the time. I stayed in one of the Luxury Guest Rooms. Very nice room, bathroom decorated very nice and modern, mini fridge and mini bar was nice and had a nice selection of drinks and juices as well as alcohol. The view of Star Island was amazing and beautiful to wake up to in the morning with the one-touch open shade. MySPA had a very luxurious modern feel to it and offered a lot of amenities, drench shower, relaxation lounge, dry sauna, steam room, gym. MySPA was very nice and had friendly staff and did seem nice, however, the steam room and sauna for the men were broken and closed. The outdoor rooftop terrace was my favorite location to relax during my trip. Very nice pool house, large pool, bathrooms, outdoor lounge, and running track. The pool however had the heater broken which in November in Miami is a must for a pool to have some form of heat. The elevators broke in the hotel several times once with me inside. Putting all of the bad things a side the hotel is very nice, modern looking, luxurious and offers excellent service, food, and breakfast. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly and I feel like if the hotel fixed the problems with the minibar charging people for taking things that were never replaced by the staff because they were never taken and other small inconveniences like the spa and pool it would be an excellent choice. read more

Stayed here this weekend and overall the place was great! We paid extra and had a water side view which was nice and the blackout curtain is a great add on. My biggest complaint was the check in service. We arrived at 3:20 for a 4pm checkin and were told our room wasn't available yet but if we signed up to be intercontinental members we would be upgraded and at the latest be texted by 4pm about the room. We then asked the front desk gentleman where we could get sandwiches until our room was ready and he directed us to the restaurant on the plaza by the pool. However that restaurant closes at 3pm so when we arrived up there we could not go in :( we the. Waited until 4:15 with no text message and went back to the lobby to get our keys. Brian at the desk seemed very scatterbrained and made it seem like a system error that we didn't get the texts. He also gave no information about the hotel nor pointed us in the right direction. We ended up going up the elevator on the far end by starbucks and ended up inside an office building. Overall we enjoyed the room and the housekeeping woman was very nice as was the woman at the bell hop desk. Would just like a smoother check in process and more information about the hotel given to those new to staying there. read more

Unfortunately in August 2017 I went on a trip and was very surprised at what happened during my stay. Someone that I did not want to know my contact information, called the hotel, asked for my name and was porvided my room number. The individual proceeded to call my room number and after not getting the response she wanted, she called the hotel back. She lied to the staff and said there was an emergency and was provided my personal cell phone number, which the individual call. I call Intercontinental and ask for an explanation. I was told that "the manager on duty at night is on vacation so we will get back to you". This happened in August 2017 and I still have yet to receive any follow up. I will never go there again. Hopefully this post will elicit some sort of a response. read more

Stayed here for ULTRA weekend and had a blast. The hotel security during the festival made us very comfortable and kept everything under control. The staff is great as well. Toro Toro is a GREAT restaurant, and coming from NY we were surprised at how good it was. Tried their breakfast bar the last day and wish I had taken advantage of it all weekend because it was fresh and well cooked. Everyone from the wait staff to the bartenders were on point and seemed to handle the chaos of ULTRA crowd really well. We're not the youngest crowd goers so it's appreciated that the service we received reflected our expectations. Our room service always came in 30 minutes or so even when we ordered half the menu for breakfast. Their spa is the very nice as well. Had a well needed massage and rest in their relaxation room and sauna. Leaving on a Monday you can see the difference in the atmosphere and it was back to normal after such a crazy weekend. The rooms are pretty standard. Nothing that knocks your socks off but definitely spacious, clean, and comfy. Again, never had to wait more than 5 min for new towels, a wine cork, etc. Anything we needed we were able to access easily. And of course there is a charge for EVERYTHING. Nothing is free so it's to be expected. Over-all I would definitely book here again. Maybe not for a relaxing retreat but certainly for a fun weekend! read more

We've made the Intercontinental Miami our go-to spot. The staff makes great effort to be top notch. The hotel is located in a great spot for Miami views and activities. The rooms are what you'd expect from an Intercontinental. The pool has an active restaurant/bar with live music when we visited. read more
