I have been using Interbay Cleaners for a couple of months after trying several other dry cleaners in the area. Their prices are lower than the others for laundering shirts and the quality of their work is great. Very nice people to work with, too! read more

Love this place! I am always satisfied with the quality of the work and friendly service. They have parking in front, so it's easy to get in and out quickly if you're in a hurry. read more

Poor service and dry cleaning. They lost a shirt of mine and told me I never dropped it off. Then when I showed them the receipt I received when I dropped off I was told I had already picked it up? Then I asked for the card number that it was paid for with, and of course - they couldn't find it. The manager/owner told me to go find my shirt and stop asking him for it. read more

These guys go above and beyond. I've been using them for over a year now and I can't be more impressed. Not only do they do a great job of cleaning and pressing, but their customer service is amazing. I've ran in with emergencies and more than once have been given same day service if not within the hour. They also provide helpful tips for me when I'm cleaning at home. They also will shine shoes! Couldn't recommend them high enough! read more

Got my dress shirts cleaned here. Great job at a decent price.

I found this place after several frustrating experiences with other cleaners in this area. The owners provide friendly service. The owner even takes my clothes to my car when I have my young son with me. I do Wish the turn around was quicker, but they accommodate quicker turn around by request. Never had an issue with shirts, pants or sweaters. read more

I moved a few months ago and had to find a new dry cleaner. I tried out a few places near Queen Anne and definitely like this place the best! They're very friendly and the prices are reasonable. And recently they have been providing routine next day service! read more

Went to Interbay Cleaners for the first time yesterday. I haven't had dry cleaning done in YEARS and I had 24 items that needed some serious love. I was honest with the man working about being nervous about the cost for such a big order and I asked him to give me an estimated total so I could decide if I would be able to get everything cleaned. He immediately offered to give me a pretty substantial discount- just because! I will update again when the clothes are picked up but they deserve some love for being decent, compassionate people! read more

Great first time experience! Mentioned I found them on Yelp and I now get a hefty discount, not just once, but every time I go. 9 items and 2 new suits all with next day pickup. Great customer service with a smile and decent price. Well worth it! read more

This place used to be a 5-star in my book but they stopped honoring the shirt laundry special and did not mention it last time I dropped 20 shirts. Sneaky! I had to pay twice the usual, so I guess I'm going to be looking for new cleaners. If you don't mind the prices, they do a great job with suits, coats, dresses and shirts. read more

I own an eBay business and constantly run into specific issues with clothing when purchasing and reselling. Occasionally clothes will be missing a button or need a zipper reinforced. I realized after I sold an item that I advertised it with all the buttons and during the course of cleaning it, had come loose. I avoided this place like the plague because of the other reviews I had read (see spa sheet incident & review) but had tried a few places downtown that were not willing to reinforce this button. Finally, I saw that this spot was open and living in the Interbay area, I decided to walk in. I had a conversation with the manager/owner and told him about my issue. Right there and then, he offered to reinforce the button and although I tried to pay, he just asked that if I was satisfied, to bring things i needed altered there. WOW! Excellent customer service! Anyway, after a few weeks, I decided to bring him a bunch of suits and jackets and even a Balenciaga handbag that I had to see if he could repair the lining. First things first, the price simply cannot be beat. This dude is so reasonably priced...I probably brought him approximately 15 items and while most of them just needed alterations, some pieces included dry cleaning for $200. This is outrageously good for the Seattle area. Second, The dude who runs it actually went to fashion school so he understands silhouette. I told him that I liked slimmer cuts and European style fits and he has transformed a lot of the suits that I had into better 2.0 versions of themselves. I'm going to take off one star because I actually went to go pick up all of the clothes today and some of the pieces have to be redone. I ended up bringing him a peacoat because my friend sewed the button over the pocket lining meaning one pocket was virtually unusable...for some reason, this was not done on the jacket. Also, I had dropped off a couple of blazers that need to be adjusted. Two blazers looked like they had not been altered so I assume there may have been some confusion to dry clean these rather than alter them. Still, I used to live in Virginia and went to an elderly asian woman until she retired and have not had a place that understands the way I like my clothes for a reasonable price in the Seattle area. I'm grateful that I have found that place now. Don't believe the older reviews. This place is better than before and the entire time I was there, there were people coming in and out which shows the QUALITY of the work that you receive. My Balenciaga bag looks brand new and I couldn't be more thrilled! The only real con that I have is that they don't take American Express! But merchant fees are a pain! Also, if you have quite a few pieces, I definitely recommend that you go later in the evening when it is less busy. When I went this afternoon just to pick up, there were multiple people dropping off which made trying things on kind of awkward but benefits outweigh any negatives by a longshot! Keep up the great work! read more

I was hesitant to try Interbay Cleaners after reading some not-so-great reviews. It seems the management has changed and they're working hard to change their reputation. The service was great - very friendly and professional. I received all of my garments as expected. I did notice that a spot on my silk tank was definitely IMPROVED, but still slightly visible, hence the four-star review instead of five. Silk is tricky though, I don't hold it against them. Will definitely use them in the future. read more

Interbay has now saved a few of my clothing items from the trash bin. One of my white blouses was completely covered with a strange blue color, and I was sure it was a goner. However, when I picked it up from Interbay, the blouse looked perfect. Another time, I accidentally washed one of my "dry clean only" blouses in the washing machine. It was misshapen as a result, but Interbay brought that one back to life too. It looked great after they finished with it. In addition to doing nice work, I find this dry cleaner easy to access, efficient, and pleasant. They will certainly continue to get my business. read more

Great place! Fast friendly service. I drop off multiple items every other week usually on a Thursday morning and I can pick them up first thing Saturday. Also as soon as I walk in I'm greeted with a smile and quick service. Also walks my stuff out to my car and hangs them in the backseat. read more

Great Cleaners! Staff always courteous, pleasant and actually remembers who we are when we walk through the front door!

Dropped off my queen down comforter to be cleaned. It had yellow sweat stains and sweat smells because my husband and I had slept with it uncovered (i.e., no duvet cover) for months (and my husband sleeps hot and sweats a lot at night). I told them I really just needed it to smell better more than have the stains removed since I planned on keeping a duvet cover on it from that point forward. I was delighted to have it returned folded neatly in a plastic zippered comforter case, nearly as white and clean as when I bought it, smelling so fresh (but not with a heavy fragrance, which would have been a turnoff)! Cost me $42 (inclusive of tax), which I thought was reasonable considering it was a $280 comforter that I only plan to dry clean once a year. Might as well keep my investment in as good condition as I can, right? And Interbay Cleaners did a fantastic job, so I would definitely use them again! Easy, free parking and they had it ready exactly when they said they would! read more

Great customer service and work! Daniel is the best! I've had various pieces altered and cleaned, including a tulle bridesmaid dress-- everything turns out exactly as wanted. Highly recommend! read more

I tried them out as other dry cleaners in the area have not met my expectations. They did a great job removing multiple stains including arm pit stains that other cleaners could not or didn't really try to get out. I have gone only 4 times so far and they know my name, also whenever I have asked a question the gentleman gave me a very detailed explanation. They also gave a 20% discount for the first month!!! read more

I'm only reviewing their wash and fold service. My trusty wash and fold went out of business, so I have been looking for a new place. I had heard good things about Interbay's work, so I gave them a try. The only good thing I can say about this service is that they washed my clothes. At almost $3 per pound I expected things to be returned to me clean and neatly folded. I am currently dealing with a bin of laundry that is wrinkly, barely folded, has unmatched socks interspaced throughout AND has wads of orange cat hair stuck to everything (I don't have a cat). I am really upset that a recommended operation would offer a service that they charge excessively for and do so poorly. Do not use the wash and fold here, there has to be a better (and less expensive) place in Seattle. read more

Great cleaners! Environmentally friendly and always able to accomodate quick turnaround requests. Gets out difficult stains too. Very friendly! read more

Be Warned I've been a customer at Interbay Cleaners for about 6 months now but as of today I won't be returning.... ever again. I bought a pair of fairly expensive pants ($80) and took them in to have them hemmed. I requested they go with the original hem after the appropriate alteration to length was made. When I returned to the store to pick them up I found that there was a very odd looking flap between the end of the pants and the original hem. I've had plenty of pants hemmed before and this was the oddest work I'd ever seen. They had already charged me for the pants as part of my larger cleaning bill and when I pointed out that this was a badly botched job to the owner, Mr. Kim, and asked for a refund he tried to argue with me and said that it was done correctly and that the odd flap of fabric and double lines of stitching was how it was supposed to look. He was rude, unreasonable and actually yelled at me when I told him that if he didn't refund me for the pants I wouldn't return as a customer. Another important thing to consider is that a statement from the business claims "All of our dry cleaning AND alterations are done on premises." I was told that my pants had been sent out to someone else to be hemmed. One experience like this is one too many when it comes to very poor customer service and misleading information. There are other reviews for this business that paint a similar picture of experience. My suggestion would be to take a look at other options for cleaning/alterations in the area. read more

I've been going to this cleaners for over a year. I'm there all the time for my husband's suits and shirts. The service and prices are always great. Not sure how anyone could give this place a bad rating. It's the best dry cleaner we've ever experienced. And much more reasonable than others in the area. Five stars all the way! read more

I have been using this dry cleaning service for almost a year now and have had nothing but great experiences. There is plenty of parking in front so it is quick and easy to get in and out. The customer service is always fast and friendly, and the prices are much cheaper than other places I have tried in Seattle/Queen Anne. I take all my suits and dress shirts here and they always come back looking great. I would definitely suggest using Interlay Cleaners if you are looking for a great place to get your dry cleaning done. read more

I recently switched from my cleaners in Queen Anne to Interbay Cleaners on 15th and I am so glad I did! The prices seem more reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. Today the man that was helping me even offered to carry out my big dry cleaning order to my car- I never got that kind of service at my old place! read more

Great dry cleaner. Prices very fair for using natural green cleaning ingredients. Friendly owner and dynamite alterations lady. If I need something back early, there is never a problem. Been using them since it opened and never one problem. Use this Interbay Cleaners. They do great work. read more

I came in on Friday night asking if 4 items would be able to be cleaned by closing of the next day. The owner said no problem come in after 3 O'clock. I showed up at 3:30 and everything was ready as promised and looked great! The owner explained to me he uses high quality environmentally safe detergent which will make the colors in my shirts not fade and that other cleaners use much cheaper detergent. He was extremely friendly and walked me to my car with the items and hung them in the backseat for me. The friendliness great customer service and very fair prices will make it so I only come to this cleaner. I highly recommend!!! read more

Agree, agree, agree.... the bad reviews are truly not relevant at this point. I've had all my dry cleaning done here since I moved to Seattle and without any issue. (I've lived in multiple cities, and have used dry cleaners for years!) The owner and employees are super customer service oriented, focused on doing a quality job and really just nice people. read more

Tried this cleaner after my dryer broke and the cleaner I had been using for years refused to expedite a fluff and fold order. Not only did they expedite the order at no additional charge (it was really large about 40 lbs) but they did an excellent job. I also tried them for my oriental rugs after my cat (who was effectively in kitty hospice at the time) was sick on them. They got the smell out every time and delivered the rugs back to my condo. They even gave me a discount without me even asking. I just dropped off another rug (we have dogs now and of them got sick on the rug) not only did they give me a discount but when I asked them if they could sew up some damaged edges for me they offered to do it for free! read more

I don't usually demand a fast turnaround so can't comment on that. The price was in line with other cleaners. The owner cleaned my embroidered bedspread beautifully after an employee made a mistake with it. It was a relief to me because the bedspread had been my mother's. I'm FOR supporting businesses that reduce or eliminate toxins. read more

I'm very happy with this cleaners. The prices are good, and the people working inside are very nice. I have a hard time believing the reviews that talk about poor customer service. I did have an issue when I thought they overcharged me for my dress shirts. However, the man up front calmly explained to me that you get a lower price on the shirts when you have dry-cleaning too. He was very patient, took my concern seriously, and cleared up how the pricing worked. Oh, and they do a decent job on the shirts too. :-) read more

Add me to the list of extremely satisfied customers. Convenient location for me, smiling, friendly staff and quick excellent service. This is a great dry cleaner. I take my suits, pants, ties and shirts here. They do a wonderful job and have competitive pricing. I would recommend this place to anyone. I've been happy using this cleaners since it opened. Prices are reasonable. Service is stellar. I've also had them do alterations and they have all been done perfectly. I use their laundry services for men's shirts and dry cleaning for both men and women. I've never once had a problem. read more

Nearly 40 years ago my mother-in-law made five tiny hand crocheted dresses for my baby daughters of the finest yarns. I stored them in the attic in a container I thought would protect them. I have a new granddaughter now and wanted to give her Great Grandma's beautiful handiwork. Alas, the dresses were marred with dark stains -- bad enough that they couldn't be worn again. I couldn't get the stains out. I refused to be heartbroken, so I took them to Daniel at Interbay Cleaners. He explained carefully the problems and risks in working with such delicate fabrics with what could be old stains. He promised only to try to get the stains out without harming the fabric. He said he valued the challenge and would spend his Saturday working on them. I was willing to pay him what he asked ($7/dress + $5/dress for the extra work) since these dresses are family treasures. On Monday I returned to retrieve the dresses. I was delighted to see the difference Daniel's work made! Most stains were completely gone, those few that remain are merely shadows. Whatever caused the stains got into the yarns and couldn't be removed completely, but you really have to be looking for a stain to see these. Daniel wasn't pleased that he couldn't fully remove the stains, so he charged me $9/dress rather than $12. I argued about it with him -- I wanted to pay him $12/dress, but he said the experience was worth it. I give Daniel my gratitude and 5 stars because 5 is the limit; I think he deserves more. read more
