Honestly, I was so distracted by my daughter's wedding logistics, that I didn't care how calm and laid-back Jon's approach was. It was clearly a hardware problem that I could not figure out. I double and triple checked my work, checked the seating of all the components, and was at a loss to figure out what the problem was. I have experience building PCs, so making the decision to drop it off at a shop was unthinkable. However, after talking to Darin over the phone, he assured me he could troubleshoot my assembly and if necessary isolate any faulty components on the bench in time for me to RMA them. I dropped my computer off shortly before they closed for the Labor Day weekend, and had a very pleasant conversation with Darin and Jesse. They are two sharp guys who genuinely care about providing a superior level of customer service as well as some creative and valuable learning opportunities about computers for local kids. Chris gave me a call a few days later and let me know that after confirming that my assembly was done correctly and all the parts were functioning properly, the problem came down to a year old BIOS version on my brand new motherboard, something that had never occurred to me to check. They were able to flash it then get Win 11 installed and fully updated. They performed stress and thermal tests on all my parts and Darin personally insisted on carrying my box to my car when I came to pick it up. As a parting gift, he gave me what was probably the deepest dive into case fan configuration and airflow that I'd ever had with a sane human being. So far it's running great, and the cost was quite a bit less than I'd expected to have to pay. This isn't exactly the sort of service I have any desire to need an a regular basis, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to give these guys a call. Some days they are quick; other days the response is several days out... closing tickets on my end users if they (we) aren't available when they (Team Logic) calls us back. We have had have 2 major incidents caused by Team Logic. The latest one they didn't even use their RMM tool Ninja One to remediate. They seem to have a few good reps; others will add AD users individually to root folder access rather than take the time to look at appropriate OU's and security groups. We actually found they had given their own techs domain; enterprise and schema level administrative access; then had techs leave without disabling those accounts. Now Team Logic IT is a franchise and perhaps you'll have better experience that I had.

I brought my $3,000 laptop in to have the fan replaced because a bearing had begun rubbing and making noise. I even got them the replacement part, I just needed them to install it. I was told it would take a week, which I understood. After 1 week they called me and said I could pick it up. I picked it up, and when I got home I turned it on. Upon turning it on I was met with BIOS error codes and the computer refusing to bypass them to "conserve the health of the hardware." I brought it back, and told them what was happening. They quoted me another week for diagnostics, which I agreed to. After a week they told me it was my battery and that it would need to be replaced. After ANOTHER week (3 weeks since initial drop off now), they called me again and said it was ready to pick up. I picked it up, brought it home, and it was still completely destroyed. More BIOS errors, the computer running extremely slow, and it turned off instantly if it became disconnected from the charger. I brought it back once more and was met with someone telling me "well you can still use it like a desktop, just always have it plugged in." After they took it again, quoted me another week, etc etc, they told me it was my CPU that was fried and that I could pick up my computer whenever, but that it wouldn't turn on. Keep in mind I initially dropped it off for a FAN replacement. After a strongly worded phone call, threats of a civil suit, and twisting their arm, they agreed to replace the parts THEY broke but that it would take a significant amount of time. 3 months after this call, I get my computer back and it works. Since then I have experienced nothing but issues with my computer. The fan has begun violently shaking the computer, keys are pressed in and will double type (or not type at all), and the AC charging adapter has become intermittent. I wouldn't trust these people to replace TV remote batteries. Take your business elsewhere.
