I was looking for a nail place nearby that could do a nail color change at a reasonable price…read more Their website and reviews show that the cost was $10, which is reasonable and on par with pricing on the mainland. Unfortunately when I got there, they told me it's $20! Holy smokes, that's very pricey for just a color change! I called to see if they could get me in on the same day and they said yes, come now. That was a plus. The nail technician did a good job on my nails and was friendly enough. No complaints there. They're located in the Hawaii Kai shopping center, close to Island Brew Coffeehouse. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. I may return in the future, but not for a color change.

Another time went with my husband and called first .. they CONFIRMED 12:30 pm yet no one was available when we got there and they expect us to wait!! They were all busy with customers. Decided to leave AGAIN! Another month later.. I make TWO appoints ON LINE for 10 am but when we get there they say can start one.. all were busy ! They shouldnt book on line appoints !! We want to be taken at SAME TIME!!! Walked out and will never go back! Whats the point of online booking??? They say they ALWAYS have time but you get there and they expect you to just sit and wait and its more like 25 min to a hour!!! This is very bad management and I blame the OWNER making the workers work like that is WRONG!! BAD customer service! Customers also have other appoints to get to and thats WHY we make appoints!!! If you are a WALK IN thats different but when you call or book on line and the appointment is confirmed and it makes no difference then its RIDICULOUS!

It was my first visit to this salon and although just a root touch up, I have about five different colors running through my hair. Selina listened to what I wanted, selected a color and my roots now blend in with the rest of my hair perfectly. She did such a great job. Whatever product she used in my hair afterwards left it feeling silky, smooth, and really helped tame some of my frizzy curls. The salon is really cute, clean, and has a great vibe! I highly recommend both this salon and Selina!

The stylists are independent contractors but the person who answered the phone gave me a couple of stylist names & numbers to call. Kayana was able to get me in on the day that I requested. Although there was a little mix-up on the time, she apologized and went right to work. She was very friendly and professional throughout the appointment. I just wanted a color touch-up and her prices were more reasonable than some of the other stylists I had checked out. She did a very thorough job coloring my hair and I felt like it was more of a full color rather than just a touch up! She utilized a new type of Paul Mitchell coloring product that processes in 10 min as opposed to 30 min. Wow, I'm on board with that! Afterwards she dried my hair using a hair brush dryer (the double shot by Drybar) and my hair looked like I just had a blow out! I was so impressed with that dryer that I went on Amazon and bought one right after my appointment. The salon is located in the Koko Marina shopping plaza, close to Zippy's and across from the old theater. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. The salon itself is clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this salon and I'm so happy I found Kayana. She will definitely be my go-to stylist moving forward.

I had requested 3 appointments for me and my friends. A gel x and gel pedicure and 2 gel pedicures for my friends. They did not do my gel pedicure because they took until close to do my fingers. I also did only one nail with designs bc of how long they took on nails. It was gelX and a $100 for 1.5 hours. For that level of meticulous I'm also expecting close to perfect but still have imperfections and a notable instrument slice in one of my thumbs polish. This has been my go to nail place living in Hawaii Kai and I was disappointed in their work and service tonight. Putting pictures of the good one and then tonight's.

I'm very sad to write this review. I truly dislike writing about my negative experiences…read more My nail tech was pretty rough and would turn my hand and fingers without a word into awkward positions and her nails would dig into my fingers. I thought she did an ok job, but a couple days after getting dip powder done my pink nails started fading into clear and white ish almost tie dye colors. The salon didn't feel clean or comfortable either. Parking was really hard to find too. It was my first time here and as I paid they said I had to leave a tip in cash. I told them I didn't have any cash and that I didn't know they only took cash. It was awkward and a bit stressful since of the language barrier my nail tech didn't fully understand. I asked if she could do Zelle or Apple Pay. They said no. And I said I'm sorry. But it felt like they wouldn't let me leave until I left a tip. So another nail tech got involved and it was like a 3 way award tension or none of us knowing what to do. Eventually I felt like I had to find a way to tip so another nail tech eventually had me Apple Pay her. Both the nail tech were not thankful for my cooperation and just visually looked annoyed and frustrated at me. But I truly felt very pressured and uncomfortable by this. If they require a tip and require a cash tip they should have explicitly put that in the booking instructions and notified me before confirming the appointment. I really didn't like this experience overall and especially didn't like feeling like I was corned and couldn't leave until a tip. It was a really disappointing first experience of getting my nails done here.

It was Vietnamese street food while I was getting pampered. They have an incredible selection of polish colors to choose from. I especially appreciate that this salon uses a new bowl bag with each customer. I absolutely loved the Vegan Clean Spa Pedi. Thank you Hannah!
