We used Inspired Builders to upgrade a master bathroom, powder room, refresh the paint throughout our entire home and a few side projects. Ben, our Project Manager was exceptional throughout the process. He was always available to us and communication with his team was exceptional. Yes, there were errors & mishaps, but they were quick to address them and always went over and above to fix it. The team was at our home every morning, ready to work and all projects were completed on time as promised. The designer made selecting product easy with minimal stress. Ben and his team made it FUN to remodel, so much so that we continued to add projects to our list. Ben was happy to provide guidance, work with us on the budgets, make design suggestions and set expectations. Our master bathroom is pretty, much more functional, with better use of the space. The new paint throughout makes my house bright and beautiful. My husband and I are pretty particular about our home, the style, noise levels, cleanliness and everything in between. Ben and his team were very tolerant and generous with their time and did everything in their power to accommodate us. We had a few laughs and enjoyed the process of working with Inspired Builders. I cannot say that about any other contractor I've worked with in the past! We have recommended Inspired Builders to friends and neighbors and are happy to continue recommending them. Highly recommended! read more

We recently completed our 3 bathrooms and the kitchen renovation with Inspired Builders. Our project manager, Barak, did an excellent job taking our input and providing us with several options of varying complexity/price. We visited showrooms with Nicole the designer and found materials to our liking amongst a large selection. The full three-dimensional computer rendering of the design options (the renderings included the materials we had selected and appliances we had indicated we were going to use) was particularly useful in making our decision. Choosing the most complex, we were estimated 6-8 week completion time. Barak and his crews completed the work in just 6 weeks. Barak communicated constantly by phone/text/email and was always prompt with answers and options to any questions we had throughout the project. The entire kitchen and pantry were torn down to the frames, walls/post removed, beams installed, water, drains and gas lines were moved. The crews were extremely skilled at their tasks and worked quite fast while maintaining quality and safety. Moreover, in watching the crews work, I could visibly see that they enjoyed their work, and took pride in doing things correctly and completely The kitchen was fully walled off with plastic with a zipper door. The site was swept and cleaned every day. They were particularly diligent in moving our washer/dryer in/out of the house constantly, so we could maintain the use of our laundry as much as possible. As a very curious person, I very much appreciate their patience in my watching them work and answering quite a lot questions about how and why things were done. I would recommend Inspired Builders, Barak , for your next renovation project! read more

I had the pleasure working with David (project manager), Vincent (foreman) and their team at Inspired Builders. We received their contact from my daughter's friend who had worked with them in the past and highly recommended to work with them. Initially, we met with a couple of other local companies for the sake of research and price comparison, but because of the referral and the fair pricing- we knew that Inspired Builders are the one we want to work with. The customer service provided throughout the remodeling period was very personalized and thoughtful. All together we had a team of 15 professionals working on our project. That included the designer, architect and engineer at the pre-construction phase, and the professional crew who performed the construction work. Our scope of work included a kitchen and bathroom remodeling, added a laundry room, hardwood floor installation and new lighting throughout the house. We were very impressed with the team`s rate of progress and noted that they showed up to work every single day. Every time when we faced a challenge- the management had informed us and always came up with a solution, we felt very confident working with their team. To sum up our experience with Inspired Builders I would have to say that they have lived up to their reputation. Lines of communication were kept open at all times and we were given full support during all stages of the project. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and are enjoying our newest project. read more

We hired Inspired Builders last year to do a full scale remodel of my mom's house. This was a large project and we wanted to work with a professional company that could handle and guide us through the entire process so we didn't have to live through the stress. We selected 6 highly rated companies based on Yelp, Google, and Houzz reviews to interview. Although Inspired Builders quote was not the lowest quote we received, we ultimately chose them because we had a great meeting with one of the owners, Barak, and felt very comfortable that he could guide us and limit our stress throughout this process. Although there were bumps along the road, Inspired builders took ownership and solved each problem whenever something came up which is exactly what we were looking for. (An example is when the shower glass vendors chipped our vanity while installing glass shower, they dealt with the vendor and got a new vanity top ordered and replaced.) Overall, the quality of work was great and we are very happy with the results. Inspired Builders is a great team to work with for any Home remodel needs. read more

We worked with David and his team over the past year to remodel our kitchen (including a permit to remove a wall), bathroom, garage and replace the flooring in our entire house. The project started in crisis with a leak from our fridge that caused molding. We interviewed three different contractors and we very quickly felt that David was the best choice. Inspired Builders makes things feel very smooth and he and his team are good at letting you know what to expect and timelines. As our trust with David grew we also decided to add on projects which we appreciated his flexibility during that time. Inspired Builders is a great choice if you wish to be shown high quality options in the San Jose area and to make quick decisions. While I'm sure they would let you compare different vendors they have a select list with discounts that make it much easier to purchase your items. We were very happy that we got to work with David! read more

We recently worked with Inspired Builders on renovation of our Garage in San Mateo, including new insulation, new drywall, new epoxy, recessed lights, new outlets, fan and a new water heater. We had great experience working with Barak and David, we especially appreciate their honesty, customer service, knowledge and follow through (they took care of the city permit, passed all inspections and helped us to order a pod) We love our new garage, and we know we made the right choice in working with Inspired Builders and would highly recommend it if you're planning a renovation in the Bay Area. read more

We had a 2 bathroom remodel (master and guest) and the crew was fantastic. We took multiple quotes and Inspired Builders were far and away the most impressive ; professional quotes, great communication, and set expectations and advised us along the way. We had surprises along the way with bad pre-existing wiring, city inspectors, and even a non-related landscape issue they helped us with while on vacation. We are hugely happy with our build and will definitely tap them again for our next project ! read more

Inspired Builders remodeled my bathroom and David was my contractor. He did a great job walking us through the process, answering all my questions to make it very clear for me and most important that was a smooth process, David coordinate everything, other than pick the style and colors of our finish fixtures I didn't really do much, that's was impressive! The entire team were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the project: presenting us with options- every time they found an issue they were sure to resolve it. They communicated very well and informed us of scheduling and timeline. Our bathroom become beautiful with much better use of the space and a lot more storage, which that's was what we were looking for. Inspired builders team is highly recommended also because of their quality, standard and customer service. read more

We just finished a big project with Inspired Builders and I could not be happier with the results. We decided to have one of our bathrooms completely remodeled and the other two upgraded - new tile and toilet in one, new vanity and lighted mirror medicine cabinet in the other two. While this was all happening we also engaged IB to do a complete re-piping of our plumbing, replacing the old galvanized pipes for copper. Everything came out so good! The whole project team was fantastic, but big thanks go to our project manager, Adam. He was always available, either onsite or by phone, and he kept us informed of everything they were doing and what they needed from us to be successful. They did all of that and were still very cost-effective. They are definitely my go-to for any future home remodeling projects. read more

David and his team remodeled 2 bathrooms for us. Of several contractors we interviewed, he had the most thoughtful and creative ideas for our space, which included expansion of the master bathroom to absorb pre-existing closets and constructing separate closet within the master bedroom. Throughout the process their communication really stood out. They were professional, reliable, and responsive. The designers were also spot on with their suggestions for tile and other accessories. This was our first remodel experience and we learned to expected the unexpected. They were able to provide prompt and efficient solutions, and were mindful of our budgetary concerns. We would certainly recommend their services and absolutely work with them again. read more

Inspired Builders did an excellent job converting our garage into a junior ADU. They did everything from start to finish (design to turn-key ready). I especially appreciated their flexibility with the design even after construction started. Because it was only a one car garage every inch counted, so we needed a lot of customization. Eden always accommodated our requests and made sure we knew what was going to happen next and when we needed to select materials on time etc. They worked swiftly and were there daily so work progressed fast and they also coordinated all the city inspections very timely so we had minimal delays. And above all that, they took special care to not harm our mature bougainvillea and fruit trees that very right next to the site while digging the trench and putting in new water line piping. The price was very competitive, somewhat under that of another quote we got and they finished within the planned time. We will definitely hire them again if we do another construction! read more

Our entire experience with the Inspired Builders team exceeded our expectations. We had our primary bathroom remodeled, and Eden, the project manager, was with us every step of the way. His communication, recommendations, and attention to detail were outstanding. Our on-site team, lead by Gelvin, was a dream team. Gelvin began each day by reviewing the day's activities, and introducing the on-site team. He set and met our daily expectations. He also impressed us with the way he taught the lesser experienced team members respectfully with precise instructions and support. At day's end, we were shown the progress and asked if we had any questions (which were answered enthusiastically and knowledgeably). The daily cleanup was so thorough, that we were comfortable living in our home during construction. The entire crew was friendly, highly skilled, and enthusiastic. It was obvious that each person was happy to be here, and shared their pride in working for Inspired Builders. Eden and Gelvin were in constant communication, and Eden checked-in with us regularly, and he made frequent visits. The outcome is more beautiful than we imagined. Eden delivered our gorgeous bathroom in the amount of time he quoted, and the project remained within the quoted budget. We highly recommend Inspired Builders for your home projects! read more

We loved our experience working with Inspired builders !! Barak and his amazing team have completely transformed our dated home from the 60's into a modern beauty. Working with a company that managed both the design and construction aspects made our very large project a seamless and manageable process. Making the second largest purchase in our life (the first being the house itself) was very daunting, but we knew we were in good hands with Barak. Barak runs his business with great integrity, and was more than accommodating to us throughout the process to make sure all our needs were met and all of our concerns were addressed! The scope of our project was a truly whole house remodel, including the renovation of a bathroom, kitchen, windows, living room, whole house rewire, plumbing, etc.. My experience with this company has been really great. They were ver responsive, detail-oriented, and especially communicative throughout the process. Ill admit I can be a bit picky at times, but David was patient, easy going, and straightforward/honest,- exactly what I needed. I want things done correctly. I'm confident I've made the right choice. I have a few properties in Cali as well as in the East Coast. In the past I've had some pretty negative experiences with other companies, but David walked me through the process and answered all my questions. We remodeled my main bathroom and added an extra bedroom/bath extension- something I've been considering for a while. Can I tell you I am blown away! Everything is clean and smooth and flows together so well. The tile work is amazing, my floors are so pretty! My kitchen sink is a dream to use and the lighting is perfect. There were a few recommendations that I moved forward with instead of what I initially wanted and I'm really happy I listened; it really enhanced the old charm of my house. For my kitchen remodeling project, I had the pleasure of working with David and Ben from Inspired Builders, and it was a terrific experience. David and Ben made the procedure considerably simpler for me despite the fact that I had limited time and a tight budget owing to unanticipated water damage brought on by a leaking dishwasher. They were able to offer rapid assistance right away by sending in their expert plumber, Luis, to halt the leak. A water damage restoration business that was covered by my home insurance was also recommended to me by them, which lessened the financial load. The kitchen remodeling project was taken on by the Inspired Building team once the repair was finished, and it was finished in just 5 weeks. In a continuous and effective manner, the crew was able to install new drywall, cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and paint while keeping the expenditures to a minimum. This is long overdue, but never too late to share a great experience. I had no idea what to expect or what we were getting ourselves into when we chose Inspired Builders. We had a great feeling after our first meeting with our Project Manage, Ben. Then it kept going when we met with showroom ladies. They helped us pick out all the little details that would make up our new remodel. It got dusty and we remained in our house as we went through an entire remodel. ceiling, floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, all of it. Wow, what an adventure. Even with the unexpected events that surfaced, we were amazed at the professionalism of the crew and the project manager. While we were in it, it was crazy, but the end result was amazing. My husband and I had been talking about a kitchen remodel in our condo for a few years. We did a lot of research and spoke with several contractors and met with three over the past year. Barak Tamam with Inspired Builders was meeting #3 and that cliche is pleasantly true, 3rd time is the charm! He was on time, listened, took a lot of notes and understood that our kitchen remodel had to be within our budget. It's our first time to do a remodel and Barak helped navigate the process of design & materials. We wanted a modern feel, more cabinet space and a bit more counter space. Barak made the magic happen and all his ideas made perfect sense. Barak and his design person David were super helpful in choosing materials within our budget and all came together within the projected timeframe. Inspired's team was on time daily, neat and worked efficiently. My husband was on site daily and was very impressed with how well their team worked. I know construction projects can take longer, go over budget but we were lucky that this was a very smooth process. Barak was a great project manager and communicated all the details perfectly. I plan to remodel my bathroom next year and will definitely use Inspired. Their work is solid and we are very happy with our kitchen. It is the heart of our house and we enjoy walking in every day.
