Insomnia in general is a great brand, and they maintain a very high standard across their chain. This specific one is little and tucked away but don't let that fool you, it still packs what the other bigger ones do.
Insomnia have this great little offer where you can get a coffee and a snack (muffin, cake slice etc) for less then four euro. Considering a large mocha (what I usually order) runs at 3.40 you are looking at Pennies for a treat!
Most times I go in there, I deal with a queue that's quite off putting, but recently I ran in and missed all of the queues. They arrived about 30 seconds after I did, and not once did the barista waver. She made sure everyone was attended to, without getting too lost in one person. And yes, the coffee was DELICIOUS.
The bad side to Insomnia is that they do not have a great big food range unless they are one of the much bigger ones. They offer sweet treats and a very limited range of Gluten Free food which is usually pre-packed Brownies or sunflower seeds. If they could improve their Gluten Free fresh food options, that would do a lot for them. read more
