    Fancy Frankie

If you see the signs for Wigwam, walk in a bit to this expansive space and prepare to be amazed. This was my first Irish Coffee ever and it was so amazing, it made me a convert. I ordered the (award winning) Fancy Frankie. It was like the perfect blend of alcohol and coffee, sweet with an absolute kick. A light, creamy foam perfumed by orange zest. The perfect size to indulge in without going overboard. Service could not be sweeter and it was easy to sit back and relax while admiring the funky decor. Well worth a visit for your Irish coffee enthusiasts!

After a lukewarm first stop, I hunted down this cafe and I'm so glad I did. Their Vietnamese iced coffee was bold, silky, and perfectly balanced. friendly baristas made for an unbeatable vibe. My only issue was the straw was so flimsy it fell apart halfway through my coffee. But besides that incredible.

Slow on a Monday after work but the ambiance was perfect for me as an introvert. The fancy Irish coffee was a highlight and the dj was playing soft disco music. Very friendly and helpful barista/bartender.

Maybe the service was a little confusing; where to order coffee versus getting your Brazilian meal at the shared Wigwam space (also good). But the iced mocha was to die for. Ganache chocolate and served in a martini glass. 5 stars for sure.

This is downright the one coffee establishment in Dublin that has given me the best customer service. After moving from California, I realized that not many businesses prioritize customer service and hospitality; but even then, it's Ireland--land of the nice, home of the happy? I came in here looking for a nice cup of coffee and because the sun decided to shine high and bright, I opted for a cold caffeinated drink--a suggestion made by one of the baristas, the Vietnamese Coffee, €4.5. It is a concoction made up of a darker roasted coffee, sweetened with condensed milk, poured over ice. Firstly, I hail from the San Gabriel Valley, where Mr. Lee's Vietnamese Coffee resides and I know my Vietnamese Coffee when I taste it. It is very hard to go against Lee's, but I would say Vice gave it its best efforts. I could tell by the color that it was completely off--Vietnamese Coffee is a medium brown. The flavors were definitely there, but traditional Vietnamese Coffee is a tad stronger--in flavor and caffeine. I think the amount of condensed milk in the drink overpowered the flavor profile of the coffee. I'm not sure how they make it, but I would recommend that they brew the coffee over the condensed milk. Brewing techniques should be similar to that of other coffee pour-overs. Other than that, I would come back for the sweet Baristas and ample seating! If it's a sunny day, I'd recommend you snagging a seat outside! The sun in Ireland is too beautiful to pass on.

5 star coffee, one of my favourite coffee spots in the city! They serve it a variety of ways, most recently I've had a "Chaser" which is an espresso along with teeny little glass of what tastes like a latte (called a Gibraltar), served on a wooden board (cute!). I came here recently with a vegan friend and of course they were able to sub milk for her with almond milk, she said her flat white was lovely too! I've come to associate this particular spot more now as a place to go for a daytime coffee, than out for the night in the Twisted Pepper (RIP). In terms of seating, the booths are cool and cosy for a small group (although sometimes taken up with laptop hogs for long periods) and the staff are super sound.

My favorite coffee place so far in Dublin! A great place with good coffee ( at least for their latte that I ordered), comfortable seatings with stable internet and charging slots. I have lactose intolerance and they offer oat milk as alternative to regular milk, which is definitely a huge plus for me. I came here in a weekday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. Will always come back here if I don't plan to work from the office.

Short and sweet review. Vice is housed in the Wigwam building. The coffee is great. On Saturdays they have Dublin Doughnut Co doughnuts which are awesome! I love Wigwam. There's a great feel to it and it's so nice to sit in here for a coffee and a sweet treat 9' a Saturday morning :)

We came here for a YELP pitstop while on the walking tour. It was very nice. Tom, the barista/owner made us some coffee and we sampled enough to get our juices going. The best part was when he prepared the ice coffees for the hot weather. Thank you!

Come for the doughnuts, stay for the hot chocolate.., and then go home. I'm a regular at Vice because they serve Dublin Doughnut company doughnuts every Thursday/ Friday and Saturday. I'm not sure their own selection of cakes would really live up to my expectations though if doughnuts weren't on offer. They have some anaemic raspberry slices and a lemon slice that look quite unappetising. Well everything does when there are doughnuts. Their malted hot chocolate has been mentioned here before and with good reason. It's possibly the only hot chocolate in Dublin that doesn't make me feel sick afterwards. The atmosphere is good too and the staff attentive and friendly.

Awesome Irish coffee, try their award winning Fancy Frankie! Good vibe and friendly staff. Free WiFi, comfy and convenient place to work or relax. Check out the rooftop terrace too!

Good coffee and lots of nice choices. They seem to also have a lot more pastry choices than when I went before! I ordered the Vietnamese coffee - it wasn't as strong as I'm used to, but it was very refreshing and the coffee flavor stands out. Lots of seating choices indoor and out and there's a nice vibe. I'd definitely come back!

Simple, classy menu - it's all about the coffee

The portion sizes kind of seem small but that could be because my girlfriend and I split everything and it was basically a couple of bites from each other's dishes. We got the blueberry lemon pancakes, and a meat dish for the needed protein, so one savory and one sweet, the way breakfast is meant to be worshipped and devoured simultaneously. Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would come back in a New York minute if I get the chance to visit Dublin again. As always people SYOY!!!

I do wish the bacon side had 2 slices but it only comes with 1. My husband had French crepes with blueberry supreme topping and an order of the potato fritters, which is its own meal. I had hot tea and he had a cappuccino. Be reminded that this is a European sized cup not a giant American size. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals so much so that I left no scraps on my plate. My husband didn't finish his fritters that have avocado on them bc he's not a fan of avocado. He forgot to ask that they be removed. His fault. Very nice young staff. I wish that we had discovered this restaurant sooner bc we would have eaten breakfast there again but we discovered it on our second to last day.

We went back a second time on our trip and got a few more pastries, all of which were very delicious. The pastries were hot, flakey, glistening, delicate, and perfectly sweet on both visits. I didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes. I grabbed a couple of different things for us to try -- the focaccia, morning bun, salted caramel roll, and the cinnamon roll. My favorite was easily the focaccia, which could compete with the best I had in Italy -- so good. The morning bun was good, but nothing crazy exciting. The salted caramel roll had to be the least caramel-y caramel roll I've ever had, but it didn't taste bad and the salted part was interesting (in a good way!). The Cinnamon roll was unique, which I appreciate. It had a big glob of cream cheese frosting (too much for me, but I imagine it would float a lot of folks' boats) and some orange flavoring! I quite liked the orange. I wanted to get a matcha to go, but they said they didn't have disposable cups. You could buy a 5 euro reusable one and then if you brought it back you'd get a refund... interesting, but I was leaving that day and wouldn't be back in the area. I can't speak to the ambiance because we were in and out, but it looked like they had a decent amount of space. All in all, I would recommend this place! For me it was a 4, but I'm sure for some it would bop up to a 5.

It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor. This means you can day drink and not even bat an eye at it being strange. The flavor was delicious and I'll be trying to recreate this at home for sure.
