Another very good coffee shop. If you're in need of a really good flat white then these guys will hook you up. This is a smallish coffee shop with seating in and out. I've only ever been in at the weekends but can imagine it gets busy during the week. The layout and decor is modern and the staff are friendly.

Really starting to get addicted to this place. I think why I like it so much is that it's really great coffee but just not overly coffee pretentious as an establishment. It's inviting for both the connoisseur and the regular joe (excuse the pun). I remember first getting one of their coffees when they were simply a aluminium cart along the quays. Now they've a few fixed locations around the city and it's great to see a little chain being born that isn't Starbucks or Costa. They must be doing well enough and I'm really happy to see that. The Leinster street premises (which is practically Nassau street) isn't too far from my apartment. One of the main reasons why I'm always visiting. However there are a number of places where I could get coffee on my walk there, including a few big names, but I always choose Coffee Angel - so even if you don't live close by I'd still consider checking it out. The place is always busy enough when I go, but not too busy. Even as a small cafe I can always manage to get a seat. They've a few tables outside too which is nice for people watching. It's a tourist street so there's always a few characters walking by. The staff I've found to be really nice every time. I can understand when baristas are wrecked at the end of the day, but these guys always seem to have a smile on their face and are generally happy and chatty. Great to see. The only coffee I've had here are flat whites and they're easily one of my favourites I've had anywhere in Co. Dublin. I can't comment on their other beverages though but my friends highly recommend what they've had there. My only one criticism would be the price of some of the food. Now I've never tried it and was considering giving something a shot today for lunch - but once I saw the prices and the size of portion I decided against it. Maybe they're worth it, not sure just yet. Also - I wish the place was a little bigger. I know I've always gotten a seat, but if it was just that little bit bigger they could throw in some more comfortable chairs, even a sofa. Would just a be nice touch! Go check it out!

    Such pretty flat white art!

Breakfast pastries/granola, sandwiches, salads, and tea/coffee. Some of the food options seem to be similar to what they had before when this location was "Cup." It's got everything you need for a nice place to have a chat or read a book. There's bathrooms downstairs too (though a bit cramped). The staff are lovely and the coffee is good. Not much more to say!

Love coffee angel! They took over this space from cup another great coffee shop that will be missed :( I normally just get a coffee or a coffee and scone if I'm sitting in on a mornings commute to work. The jam you get with the scones is fantastic! Really makes them, love a sweet treat in the morning :) the coffee here is top class as you would expect from a specialist cafe such as this. It's decorated in that sleek coffee angel style plenty of pastel colours, and some exposed brick on the far wall because that's what all the cool kids are doing now days. Great spot and with it being so bang in the city centre I'm sure they'll do great :) Worth a stop !

Read many reviews about this cafe and their amazing coffee. Well, today i went to try it and i had macchiatto. It was fantastic and would agree that they make one of the best coffees in Dublin

Simply put. The best coffee in Dublin. Some of the most friendly and bubbly staff i have come across(at least in my haunt - CHQ pop up) If you enjoy a good latte/cappuccino this is right up your alley. I've been coming here for the best part of 2 yrs and the standard hasn't dropped.

Got a chicken Caesar toasted sandwich. Normally it's €7 sit-in, but it was €6 to-go so I got that. Bit pricey for sandwiches! And it was ok, nothing special. I won't be coming back for lunch as it's not worth the price in my opinion. Coffee is their thing though, so might come back for that.

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). If you're in Dublin and are looking for an exemplary cuppa and some tasty bites served with a smile--this is your spot. Get to it!

They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN. I am breaking my own rule here, I can because they are my rules, they don't roast but they use fantastic local Micro-roasted beans and prepare my drink to perfection. Don't miss this little gem the in Dublin. 5 Stars.
