The best print shop, ever! I used Inscriptu as my printing vendor for the past year for 100+ projects. Their prices can't be beat, the print work is always spectacular and the team is some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. I cannot say enough good things about Inscriptu. They're a wonderful bunch! Thank you for everything!!! read more

Almost instant reply, rapid quote. So I stopped into their shop which is awesome. The building used to be a theatre. But the awesome part is all the different kinds of printing, engraving, cool gift ideas. Even though I expected to have to drop and return for my job, he offered to turn it around while I waited. He laser inscribed my Son's name on a steel Leatherman tool I'm gifting. Looks great and for a good price. Two thumbs up for this business. read more

This place is great! Dots is my go to but all the staff is very nice and helpful. I have engraved items from my company a few times and they are always delivering quality work. I even had a tablecloth made and it looks great! I recently walked in and needed some tumblers made for some clients and needed them next day, they had them ready same day! Definitely will be going back. read more

I can't even count how many times the crew at Inscriptu has saved the day for me! As a wedding planner, I handle a ton of event signage--welcome signs, seating charts, bar menus, invitations, and more. Things often change last minute (because, weddings!), and Inscriptu always comes through--fast, reliable, and with top-notch quality. They're my go-to team for every print I need, and working with them is always such a breeze. Everyone there is so kind, helpful, and genuinely cares about getting it right. If you need anything printed for your event, I couldn't recommend them more! read more

I was looking for 2-sided full-color business cards online but the prices were double what Inscriptu was going to charge. I have never used them before this but a fellow artist recommended them so I thought I would give them a go. I submitted my order after hours on a Monday. I got an email Tuesday morning saying they were already ready! They came out wonderful and everyone loved them. And on top of that, they were really friendly. I'm so glad I shopped locally! Thanks, Inscriptu! I'll be back! read more

Finally a good print shop in San Diego! I was referred by another art friend to come try and get my prints and stickers done here. I had a fantastic experience here with such a quick turnaround and attention to detail. I've had really bad experiences in the past where print shops will print stuff darker or in thin paper even though you specify certain quality standards. These homies are the real deal. I was pleasantly surprised how many samples they have and will print in about almost anything. You need stickers? Done. You need art prints? Done. You need to print custom VHS covers? Done. I will be coming here from now onward to get my stuff done for comic conventions! I highly suggest any other art folks here in SD to hit these guys up for all of their print projects. Also, shout out to the homie Dots who is always on top of my orders and is always quick and patient to respond to all of my questions. Give that shawty a raise and a high five read more

My first review and I had to do it just for Inscriptu! Dots (who is super sweet and friendly!) helped me out with three orders and was able to fulfill all of it in such a short amount of time. There was also another person who helped me out who was really nice (wears a cap and cool gages haha). The first order, which were plaques, were completed in a week. The second order, which were a bulk of badges, were done in the same time frame as well. Surprisingly, the prices are cheap and affordable because the quality of the items are SUPERB and top-notch. They also do accept payment through invoices, as I paid with my company's card. I highly recommend them and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you again, Inscriptu! Btw, you can e-mail files to them instead of going in person but for those doing so, be sure to OUTLINE your Illustrator files beforehand lol. read more

Can't comment on their printing services because we never even got that far. I put in a request for a quote, got one reply that was not timely and then I followed up with more information to get a quote on the job I was looking to print. I reached out several times with zero reply at all. Extremely disappointed and will continue to give my business to Speedpros who are very quick to respond, super friendly and helpful and they have great quality work. read more

I had a fabulous experience getting scans and prints made of a few of my art pieces! I had never gotten prints made before, and so after a previous printing shop lectured me for over an hour on how I basically needed to reevaluate my entire life before they would consider working with me, I was feeling defeated and embarrassed that I had even thought my work was worth getting prints made. After being sad for a while, I decided I would give my endeavor one more try with Inscriptu, since they had good reviews and were close by. 100% a better experience. Dots and Clyde were so welcoming and helpful as they walked me through the process and helped me figure how I wanted my prints to look (size, paper type, etc.) and were excellent at responding quickly any time I reached out with questions. My prints came out beautifully, and I am so so happy and excited to get more prints made here in the future and to recommend this shop to all of my friends and family read more

Great service! Really like my sidewalk sign. Easy communication. Print looks clear. Will definitely be using again in the future

Went with this print shop for my wedding signage, menus, etc. Their prices are comparable to all the other print shops around town, but they have a greater range of options (sizes, paper type, cutting options and so on) and better quality work. Communication and turnaround time was amazing as well. Employees were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. read more

I went to Inscriptu for printing services for my and my husband's business; we needed certificates printed. The quality of the certificates was great, but unfortunately, one of the sets of certificates' designs was cropped, and they didn't notify us about it at all. But I was willing to give them another chance, seeing as they were able to print them so quickly and the quality of the paper was great. I have been trying to get more certificates printed and it was so difficult to get a hold of them. I finally got a hold of them, and they told me to set up an account and order a quote for my certificates. That was July 5th, and I have yet to hear from them. I don't think it should be this difficult to reach a business. Their customer service and response need a lot of work. I hope they get better, but until then I will be looking for another printing business. read more

Humble and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my time with them. Offer variety of options at very great prices in such a busy location

Fast. Very fast. Like, I called asking for a same day job for a medium size print and Dots told me " Sure, it'll be about 10 minutes". Walked me through inputing my specific print info, uploading the file, registration, getting a quote, and paying on the same call. Drove over and it was waiting. With big name stores always backed up and super limited on options and smaller traditional print shops waning, it's great that they are around to provide, quick, quality, work made more efficient by their embrace of technology. Oh and super reasonable pricing, even with a rush mark up! Basically, if you need something printed, start here. read more

I don't know where to start! WOW! I was looking for somewhere to scan a high resolution image of one of my watercolor paintings and boy did they get the job done! Watercolors are sometimes super hard to scan because of how light they are and they managed to scan it so the scan looks hand painted !! Not only that but Dots squeezed me in (TWICE) so I didn't have to wait for my scan!! The whole staff is so friendly and so professional!! My new go to place! Also something to be said that every person that walked in seemed to be a repeat customer on first name basis with staff which is an awesome and good sign:) read more

Fantastic printing! I called this place to have a friends birthday present printed and I received a prompt response. The staff were very patient and informative. I placed my order at around 11 and it was done in a few hours! Just for comparison, other places responded the next day. They are quick, friendly, and economical - I was also VERY happy with the results of my print. They were so kind as to include a complimentary second print on a different type of paper. I highly recommend coming here for quality printing. The staff are present and ready to recieve orders. Thank you SO much for your services! read more

I found this business on Yelp after submitting a request for a quote from another company. Their estimate came in at about half the cost, which had me suspicious, but their reviews were great so I took a chance. Their communication is stellar and they have been super helpful all along the way (I'm a newbie to having banners made). Pickup was quick and easy, and they were very nice face-to-face (despite being slammed at the time I went in to pick up my order). The banner looks amazing too! read more

Inscriptu - Laser cut and engraved little tags for a wedding - Printing Services Near Me - San Diego, California

Amazing to work with. Very responsive and easy to work with and quality of products great.

Inscriptu is a phenomenal one stop shop for all of your printing needs. Dots helped us with 2 special projects for my wedding. 1. Save the date poster: Dots helped bring my design to life - we wanted something unique for our save the date and decided to go with a small poster size design. Dots helped us choose the perfect dimensions, paper type, and a prefold option. She was patient with our request to get proofs in 3 different colors and offered genuine feedback. 10/10 customer service. I was in love with the final print! 2. Wedding Invite: I had a special idea in mind for the wedding invites I illustrated and Dots helped my project across the finish line. The invite was laser, cut in-house, to accomplish my vision of a 3-fold invite. The map of San Diego and the details card were also printed there as well. We were on a tight deadline and we were so grateful she worked with us to quickly turn these around. 15/10 amazing customer service. 3. Misc items: we also had custom stamps made here. One with our return address to easily mark envelopes and a heart design with our initials on them for the mailed invites as well. Very special details and I loved that we could also order these in-house. Overall, our experience here was amazing. Please support your local print shop! Thank you Dots!!! read more

A very helpful business who does quality work quickly. One of our moms had made special Fathers Day cards for all of the dads on our daughter's softball team, but there was a problem with three of them. We didn't have time to wait for the original company to mail out new ones. When I presented the problem to Dots at Inscriptu, she went out of her way to make sure the cards were spot on to the others, making sure the photos were of good quality, and that the colors matched the originals. I went in at 9:30 and the work was ready by 1:00pm. We will be returning here for all of our printing and engraving jobs in the future. A great local business with fair prices and quality work done quickly. read more

I was looking to print a design I found on Etsy for my best friend's baby shower that would end up being artwork to frame and hang in their nursery. I saw that Inscriptu had good reviews and were local so I thought I would give them a try. I had called the week of the baby shower with questions on how to place the order, what kind of paper to choose so that it met our needs. The person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and patient. I was able to pay for the order online and pick up in the store. The finished product looked great! I love this place! Dots (Jackie) was recommended to me by a good friend and I'm so glad I got connected with her. I'm an artist and had a big show coming up, so wanted some merchandise for it. I sent her some ideas for a design and she fully came through with beautiful stickers in a super short amount of time. I'm so pleased with the final product, I sold a bunch of stickers the day of the show, and Dots even added some bonus business cards on the house. So grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone! She was super kind, thorough, and responsive throughout the process as well.
