First off shout out to the entire staff at ATA Engraving! You all deserve a loud WOOOOO! I dropped off a fantasy football championship belt to be engraved pretty last minute, but they were super helpful and accommodating. The belt material itself could not be engraved but they were able to problem solve that. I was quoted a very reasonable price and 2 business day turn around time. In all my haste to complete my move out of SD to LA...I forgot to pick up the belt on Tuesday. I called ATA and they assured me they could ship the belt to me on my desired date and at a very reasonable shipping cost. Lo and behold...it's Friday (today) and belt in hand! We got our son's first birthday party favors made here! Ordered 80 sports bottles (4 different colors) with our son's name, date, and "thank you" laser engraved on each bottle which came out perfect! All our guests were happy with their favors. We also got 2 appreciation plaques made for our parents. I needed everything to be in Korean and that was not a problem at all! Awesome service. Friendly staff! I brought in a medal to be engraved and told the friendly front desk staff just to do simple engraving on a plate and stick it on the back of the medal. When I picked it up, the name was engraved directly on the back of the medal. It looks a lot nicer than using a plate. The price was the same, and I was able to pick it up in less time without a rush order fee. Definitely will have them do our tournament medal/trophy engraving in the future. read more

ATA Engraving Trophy & Awards exceeded all expectations by miles. They were incredibly friendly and exceptionally helpful. I recently purchased a wrestling belt for a Fantasy Football League and needed engravings to reflect the league name and previous winners. This particular belt isn't a normal trophy or a plaque so I wasn't 100% certain where to take it or what my limitations would be. After viewing ATA's website and Instagram page (@ATAengraving) comprised of their awesome work, I decided to give them a call. The owners Min & John were very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. To my surprise, they also had experience engraving wrestling belts as well! The next step involved the engraving designs. I knew where & what I wanted engraved on the belt, however I wasn't confident what design would look best. Upon arriving at the shop and showing the belt in question, I let the owners Min & John take the lead on the artistic direction. And I am sooo glad I did. The belt turned out even better than I could have imagined. The league name really pops out and the name plates look super clean. If there is one thing to take away from this review, it is this: American Trophy & Awards is the best place in San Diego to get your trophy, plaque, and engraving needs. Period. This is a family run business and they go out of their way to get the job done right, fast, and at a good price. I needed 10 Yeti bottles engraved for the top coaches in our little league organization. There were only a few days in between the bottles' arrival and the awards ceremony. Min worked with me to get everything done with time to spare. And when I accidentally left one of the bottles at home and had to bring it in a day late, she engraved it on the spot for me. We used ATA Engraving for trophies for a charity golf tournament on Thanksgiving weekend. This was our first tournament, so we had no idea what to look for as far as trophies go and we didn't have a ton of turnaround time. Min and John were incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Min asked for our budget and general ideas and she guided me in the right direction offering lots of great options. Not only was she super helpful in finding the right design for us, but she turned them around extremely quickly and was very responsive over email. On top of ATA being helpful in the beginning stages, we had some last minute changes and needed to add more to our order, and they were very accommodating and flexible and got us exactly what we needed right before a busy holiday weekend. The trophies turned out exactly as we wanted, and added the perfect element to our tournament - we even got compliments from the winners (Who have played in a LOT of golf tournaments) on how much they liked our trophies! :) Highly recommend working with ATA for their superb customer service, flexibility, and expertise in the industry. Super friendly service! I had an old trophy that I needed to add a new plate on with additional lines engraved on the plate. I was at the shop to submit my order on a Monday and I got my trophy back (looking polished and beautiful) on Thursday. I believe they charge $7-$8 per line of laser engraving. I am not familiar with competitive prices of laser engravings but I was not regretful of the price due to the friendly and quick service. read more
