I have been going to Innovative Vision and seeing Dr. Corcoran for about 30 years, ever since I went blind in one eye. He has always been great for me. 10 years ago, I moved to Florida, but I drive 950 miles to Innovative Vision to have my eyes taken care of. He has always done great with me. He even told me if I had any problems, to give him a call. I called the doctor a month after I got my glasses, and told them that I could not see out of them. They said no problem, I mailed them back and they remade them. Got them three weeks later. I have called the office several times to have him call me back and I don't believe he ever got the message because he has not ever called. After waiting on the call, I finally called the office to let them know that the glasses are made wrong as I can not see anything. Now I know that it takes time to get used to something, so I gave it time. I took 3 weekends that I was not going anywhere as I work all week. It takes time to find that. You can not drive in new glasses. After leaving several messages, no one called back. Last week I called and talked to three people about the glasses and was told that Doctor Corcoran no longer worked on Thursday or Fridays. I can only get off early on Thursday to drive to Ohio for the Friday visit. They told me I could come see another doctor, but after 30 years, if I had to see a new doctor, I may as well get a new doctor in Florida. So then I asked them if I go see an eye doctor in Florida and get the correct perscription, if they would remake the lenses. I was told no, that they only had a 6 month remake on them. I went to the Eyedoctor in December. The glasses arrived January 8th, 2025. I then sent them back and got the new ones in February. I left a message in April, May and finally got called back in May. Today is June 2, 2025 and was told no. It has not been six months yet, but the lady was stern. I paid almost 900.00 for these glasses which are useless to me. I can not believe that I was handled like that after being a patient for 30 years. Dr. Corcoran, if you see this, thank you for 30 years, but this time, thanks for nothing. 900 for glasses, 200 in gas, 400 in hotel bills. Never again. read more
