I move around frequently for my career - Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, South Bend, and now Cincinnati. Dr. Gregory is the most thoughtful, thorough, and professional optometrist I have ever visited. He spent a long time with me during my exam, making sure I had a detailed exam and answering all of my questions. His staff was also very nice, helping me choose the right frames and contacts. We don't buy our glasses there and always request our "pupil distance" so we can get glasses elsewhere. This time they would not provide us the information. Instead of just being honest and saying they wouldn't give it to us to prevent us from buying elsewhere, the employee lied and said that not only does pupil distance regularly change as an adult, but it also is specific to the actual frame. I told her we would be getting new lenses in the same frame so please measure it with that one, but she refused unless we purchased lenses through them. She also told me that no one in the industry will give pupil distance unless you buy glasses from them. Well, we went to Costco and not only did they measure the pupil distance with no problem, for free, without requiring us to buy glasses there, but the doctor and employees there confirmed that the truth about pupil distance, which substantiated that all the things the employee at MyEyeDr told us about pupil distance were lies. MyEyeDr has always been a high-pressure sales environment for purchasing glasses, but this goes too far.
