Clearly one of the best in our area…read more The team of Dr. Adam Wood and Dr. Jessica Wood is just one component that makes Liberty Eyecare a top notch office of optometry. Having been mostly a life long wearer of corrective lenses, I've been to my fair share of optometrists. Some good, some just okay. Liberty Eyecare is right up at the top of the list. Utilizing some of the most current state-of-the-art testing equipment, Liberty Eyecare offers a wide range of testing and services, offering an incredibly thorough comprehensive eye exam. Liberty Eyecare takes the time to explain their processes and their findings. Their level of customer service is extraordinary and they go above and beyond to get you the best possible solutions, without trying to gage you with unnecessary features and add-ons. Once your exam is complete, Liberty Eyecare offers a large selection of frames, glasses and contact lens options for you to choose from. Their knowledgeable, and patient, staff will walk you through the entire process and review the breakdown of costs and insurance coverage. Would I go back? I plan on going back every 1 - 2 years, as I have done so for the last 3 years. They are my primary eyecare provider and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

We don't buy our glasses there and always request our "pupil distance" so we can get glasses elsewhere. This time they would not provide us the information. Instead of just being honest and saying they wouldn't give it to us to prevent us from buying elsewhere, the employee lied and said that not only does pupil distance regularly change as an adult, but it also is specific to the actual frame. I told her we would be getting new lenses in the same frame so please measure it with that one, but she refused unless we purchased lenses through them. She also told me that no one in the industry will give pupil distance unless you buy glasses from them. Well, we went to Costco and not only did they measure the pupil distance with no problem, for free, without requiring us to buy glasses there, but the doctor and employees there confirmed that the truth about pupil distance, which substantiated that all the things the employee at MyEyeDr told us about pupil distance were lies. MyEyeDr has always been a high-pressure sales environment for purchasing glasses, but this goes too far. Look up the Federal Trade Commission's Ophthalmic Practice Rules (Eyeglass Rule) to see how MyEyeDr is behaving unprofessionally and find somewhere else to go instead of then
