The location was a bit busy for a Sunday, but I was greeted quickly and didn't mind my short wait. Hailey, the associate who helped me, was awesome! Not only did she get my glasses quickly, once she found out I wasn't using insurance, she inquired if I had AAA. Having this membership qualified me for a very nice discount that I was not anticipating. Because of this unexpected discount, I also purchased some designer sunglasses. I truly appreciate her efforts to save me some money, she went above and beyond and did not have to do that. I will send more customers her way!!!

I've been going to America's Best since they moved to my area several years ago. I did have to go…read moreto the one on Colerain when the Glenway location didn't have an optometrist once a few years ago. Hands down, I heavily prefer the Glenway location. The people there care about you, so you're more than a number. Today, I picked up lens for frames I already had (originally from America's Best). There was a glitch with the type I had. Chris showed it to me and explained how he was going to take care of it. He and Stacey were working on my glasses and when customers came in, they made sure to attend to them right away, while the other worked continuously on my glasses. That's the service I'm talking about. Service you really don't get any more from any store. I want to personally thank, Chris, Stacey, Cameron and the receptionist (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) for always treating their customers with courtesy, a smile, professionalism and respect. Actually, all their staff has been that way. I only wish I could name them all. The prices are the best around, coupled with the customer service they provide, will always get my business! Thank you! In all honesty scheduling and available days because I scheduled at the beginning of March and I'm…read morenot scheduled till August and I call every other week seeing if there's cancellations and there never is any, and if there is their last second like in an hour from when I call Which is not doable for a normal person with a normal Monday through Friday job, you can't just take off last second. Also, the cost with my insurance is still so close to what I would pay out-of-pocket for the same products so I have great insurance and going to certain other places which are in network just like this one I pay almost nothing but every time I come here, I pay out the Wazzu because nothing is included with insurance and the prices on everything keep going up including part of the eye exam, which is some special machine. I apologize I forgot the name but the first time I got it done I paid $15 the second time I got it done I paid $25 and it just keeps going up from there and it's not covered under insurance supposedly even though it's part of an eye exam I think the office needs to reevaluate how they do some of the business practices to see what they can actually bill under insurance and what they can't because I'm keeping my current appointment but that's because I can't get in anywhere else at the moment because they're full on patients

I am ready for new glasses at the end of February and I also was getting treated every three months or so for a medical issue. When I called the girl said that there was only one doctor there now. I stopped a few times once on a Friday and once on a Monday and you weren't even open. I was told later that you were trying to see all patients on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday since you would have two doctors working and that you could eliminate two days. I guess it is a way to cut your staff. It would be nice if you could get your office in order so there is some consistency in your office. The staff is fine and has always been great at helping people. Lately though Clarkson is a nightmare. Prior to you taking over this was a great place. The previous staff and doctors were great. For my minority people :…read more They had real good phone etiquette over the phone. I was impressed. However on the day of my appointment, I was 9 minutes late and they called me. They refused to care for me and told me they had two other "emergencies" to be attended to. I owed up to my tardiness but I don't owe anyone an explanation. Just my own eye issues. I was standing in the middle of a parking lot and I knew they could see me. I remained calm and I was on the phone with them. They wanted to me to come on my restricted unavailability. But I was very assertive about my availability. The next one goes all the way to 7 weeks later. I walked back into my car and sat there. But, I decided to go back to their office and handle it in person. They really looked scared and they really had to turn me away. It was too early for the yelling or fighting and I was very angry they won't take a new patient in. My timing is really nobody's business and it's not my fault they have "emergencies". Sounds to me they prioritize their "regulars" and their "emergencies". Sounds to me like some white privileged care to me. But, that's cool, I'll stick to a faculty clinic who only focuses on the eyes and not on the color of anybody's skin. Sorry I had to say it. But it's been said and I'll continue to repost this until they find a lenient way for giving their patients good care or, a doable solution for a grace period. Otherwise they can go out of business if they continue to turn down people like that. So I sat in my vehicle for more than an hour calming down and finding better eye care clinics closer to where I live... Don't go here, if you do one wrong thing, you're out.
