Terrible service. No organization. And understaffed. Don't carry all insurance. Definitely don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Andre the apprentice optician was very helpful and positive. I bought a pair of glasses in to be repaired that I was almost sure couldn't be repaired. So it was an uphill battle to begin with. He was attentive and fixed my glasses to near perfection. When I return to get my replacement glasses I will be sure to ask for him. Only place I've ever gone for glasses. Costumer service is satisfactory. They promise that your new glasses will be ready in an hour but it usually takes 90 minutes but that gives you time to explore the "renovated" Northgate Mall. Lenscrafters has a wide arrange of glasses/ frames to choose from, contemporary to classic and designer to off brand. read more

What a great experience I had today. I was waiting outside for them to open at noon (it is Sunday) and they were pleasant, friendly, and hooked me up with the doctor's staff immediately. That young lady explained that they were booked up but would try to work me in. I waited and she got me in first before the first appointment. The Dr. was thorough but quick, friendly and engaging, but didn't waste my time. They provided me with contact samples and instructions. I then went over and picked out some frames and though they were sort of busy, they still were friendly and made sure to communicate with me. My glasses were ready before the 90 minutes they promised and I left with a smile on my face. All in all, it was a great experience! read more

I had two pairs of glasses made by LensCrafters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Yesterday in Hawaii (where I am right now) I lost both pairs and was totally without the ones I use to drive. I asked my husband in Cincinnati to see if he could ask LensCrafters to make new pairs so that he could send them to me as quickly as possible. He called the Cincinnati store, and they were incredible! Nick answered the phone and heard the story. He asked my husband a couple clarifying questions and then went to work immediately to see if the proper frames and lenses were in stock. They were, and they said the glasses would be ready in an hour, since my husband was going to send them to me by Fedex overnight. Forty-five minutes later, they were ready, and my husband picked them up and took them down the road to the Fedex store. They were enroute to me two hours from the time I notified my husband. Nick could not have been more on-the-ball, or more personable. Just a fantastic experience! read more

I want to say I don't do reviews. But in this case I will. I have been going to LensCrafters in Northgate for 15 yrs and I take both of my kids there. They are usually busy and work very hard. Melissa greeted me and did say that it would be a few minutes so just look around. took 10 minutes cool with that and found the frames I liked. Sat down and looked for all the money she could help me save, I like that. Did say they would have 10-14 days before would have the glasses in, it was 12. the sunglasses would be tomorrow, did tell her no hurry. Got a text 2 hrs later they were ready. Went in and picked them up and all we great. Most people want it to be now but they can only do what they can do. I say Melissa you did a great job. I thank you. read more

Extremely disappointing employees , products and service after the sale. From the "not affiliated optometrist" to the condescending sales staff and "too busy to help" person actually crafting the lenses on sight. I've spent over $2000 on 3 pair of defective glasses , appointments that Dr. Orso didn't even show up for as well as being fitted for contacs that every other contac had tear or was dry in its container hurting my eyes before I could notice tear. Products are talked up and all the add ons added so they would be "scratch" resistant light resistant and easy to clean with just cold water etc so I buy the whole works on their word ( guess I'm stupid falling for liars in sales) and if product so freaking awsome why didn't they replace them when w/o any damage caused by me I cant even see out of them w/o headache because of sports all over all 3 pairs. I'm a 100% rated disabled veteran and can't afford to be swindled by shady salespeople at a large corporation. It's just that the free glasses I can get from Veterans Administration are freekin ugly and heavy and dont get dark enough for my retinas so I trusted a liscence optometrist at a nationally recognized shop and spent way to much on a hard sell against my better judgement. When I went back in when lenses started to fail they didn't look at them. Just asked if I bought an additional warranty!!!!! They lied to me, propped up product with false promises then shat on me as though i was a moron for not having enough cash to pay the extra at time of sale for a warranty they promised i wouldn't need anyway. Stay away from these crooks they will do or say anything to separate you from hard earned cash or in my case disability pension. read more

My experience this year was nothing like the previous years. Your staff in the exam side are rude and lack customer service skills. Instead of greeting your customers they make them stand there until they are ready to ask them when their appointment is. While waiting in the waiting area they bounce off other customers asking them what kind of exam they need. Instead this should be on the form you have everyone fill out. While waiting my turn, one of the doctors came out with a customer and seemed just as confused as the customer when it came to what kind of follow up appointment she needed. When it was my turn I was taken into a small room to have my eyes dilated at which only one was actually dilated correctly. Instead of waiting to be fully dialed I was taken straight into an exam room where I was greeted with another doctor. The equipment had left over makeup from the previous customer (which I had to ask her to clean). Then she wouldn't lower the exam chair so my back was hunched over the whole time which was resulting in me not being able to get my face lined up with the lens machine. It was overall not a great experience at all. I skipped even looking at glasses and left after my appointment. read more
