A guy named Joe came out and did a very good job of inspecting the place for $325. He than went to my friends home same size and did the inspection for $275. No problem if I paid $50 more. The only problem I have is The Company said " once the termite work is completed they would come out and do a re-inspection at no costs. " They failed to mention it had to be done with them only or they will charge a new termite report for $325.00. Again, No problem if I have to repay. The problem is they agreed to do the re inspection and canceled it a day later due to them not getting the repair job. I told them their prices were 50% higher for simple repairs. Most customers can do the simple repairs or have a contractor friend do it below costs. This is the first time a termite company refused to complete the final inspection in the last 20 years. IT IS BETTER TO PICK A TERMITE COMPANY THAT ONLY DOES THE REPORTS. NO WORK, this way you know they are not trying to make a higher profit on inflated repair jobs. read more

I contacted Innova Termite a few weeks ago for a full termite home inspection report . They were very professional, responsive and helpful ! Scott did a very detailed inspection of the property and also provided some other helpful tips on how to keep rodents out. Would recommend this company . read more

Will not come to your house for an estimate without a paid inspection. When I said that I did not want to pay for an inspection, I just want an estimate, she hung up on me. read more

This is my go to termite company because they are the BEST! Scott and Patti really run a great company and are super professional. As a Realtor, we get into binds and need unrealistic things(keeping it real here). They always try to manage to work with the request and turn things around quickly. The best part is Scott is accessible and explains things thoroughly. Scott and his team really know their stuff. Being in the industry for 3 decades, I have seen a lot of termite reports and met a lot of inspectors. Scott and his team should be who you call and work with. read more

We are so grateful to the owners, Scott and Patti, as well as their technician, Joe for their termite service. We like to get several quotes when we hire a contractor. We already had two other companies inspect our house for termites. However I knew I was going to hire Innova Termite immediately after talking with Patti over the phone. She is extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered my many, many questions. Scott is a world class termite inspector. He did an exceedingly thorough inspection. We knew we had drywood termites in a couple areas because they swarmed in one of our rooms and in another area outside you could see the wood damage. But what we didn't know was that we had drywood termites in another area plus subterranean termites in two areas. We had two other companies come out and Scott was the only inspector who found their evidence in these three other locations. As soon as we had our deck removed, we saw the subterranean termite tunnel that Scott had spotted from inside our crawl space. Extraordinary! Scott also very delicately explained why tenting was the best option for the drywood termites. Getting the house tented can be a little scary and takes a lot of planning and prep work, but Scott helped me to realize that it was really the best solution. They coordinated the tenting and afterwards came out to do the perimeter and crawlspace treatment as well as clean up the termite evidence. Talk about thoroughness and attention to detail. Scott and Joe did such an amazing job! Termite inspections are such a vital service. I wholeheartedly recommend Innova Termite. read more

Patti and Scott are very professional and good at what they are doing. Their response to my request was very quick and they tried their best to adjust my busy schedule. Scott showed up on time for the investigation, gave me a detailed description of the problem, and told me patiently what they would do to solve the issue. Patti was always there answering my questions and addressing my concerns. The service was done on time in a very professional way. I strongly recommend their service! read more

I had a termite inspection by Innova on the recommendation of a friend to assess and give an estimate of what service they would recommend. I agreed in advance to paying $75 for the partial inspection. The inspector came and did a partial inspection. The inspector said he wouldn't charge me for the inspection since he didn't look under the house. He offered twice to not charge me, and I accepted and thanked him. I subsequently received an emailed charge invoice for the inspection. I emailed my reply twice, saying their employee said I would not be charged and asking what their estimate would be for area treatment. I received no reply to my statement, so I called them and explained the situation. We had a respectful conversation, but I was told the employee was not authorized to not charge me for the inspection. Upon hanging up, I received another email, in which I was harshly chastised for hurting a member of my community, that the charge doesn't even cover the cost of their employees times and how they are disappointed by my "operating like this", etc. When I interact with a company employee, they are acting as an agent of that company, and I should be able to take them at their word. I am very offended by the tone of their response and their accusations. I would not trust this company to provide reliable customer service based on the insulting, harsh, and unwarranted response. And no, I didn't "change my mind" about paying for the inspection, I accepted the offer by your inspector to not be charged. read more

I had been using the same termite company for 20 years but the owner retired. Scott and Patti were super responsive. I did have to wait several weeks for them to do a routine termite inspection but I was not in a rush. Scott did a very thorough job. He was polite and very detailed. I have confidence in his report as I reviewed everything. The pricing is definitely higher than my last termite company but I am willing to pay a little more if I trust someone and they do a good job. read more

Professional and courteous service from a company that cares deeply about taking care of your damage and repair. We first worked with Scott at Innova to identify and resolve exterior damage on a 20 yr old home and were promptly blown away by their dedication and precision. Their work ethic shone every day. Alfredo and Scott were both Kind, careful and courteous and Alfredo worked diligently around my Golden Retrievers- ensuring their safety ( securing gates, keeping a clean work area ). For pet owners - you know how important this is! They proved to be a really great team to work with and we extended their work scope to have their help and expertise on our interior work as well. In addition to the outdoor repairs, Innova helped us locate, remove and repair severe water damage from two bathrooms on our new home - we received several quotes and Innova Termite was fair -they described each item clearly both before and after the repairs were completed. Patti and Scott also followed up with us on any of our inquiries in a very timely manner and clearly care about their employees and customers. read more

Innova Termite did an excellent job with inspection, had people do the tenting and follow up with concerns and issues we had. The reports were thorough, warranty had been good. Scott came back to inspect and explain what we found was not an issue. Glad that we worked with Scoptt and Patti and Innova Termite had fixed our termite problem. read more

This review is based on: - competitive bid - ease of communication - honesty - professionalism This review is not based on: - termite work actually done by Innova. The backstory: Our home inspector, Duane Serrano, recommended we use Innova to treat our pest problem. We had received another bid from Home Guard, which the seller of the house we were buying had gotten, but we wanted to do our due diligence and get a few other quotes from places in the area. Competitive bid: Scott's bid was competitive. We were quoted ~$2750 for tenting of our 2 story house + detached garage in Willow Glen. + additional $175 to remove/vacuum/mask accessible drywood termite evidence. Ease of communication: Scott and his assitant Patti were easy to communicate with and prompt responders to emails. We appreciated this. Honesty: We had some damage to our sillwork on our old 1927 classic Willow Glen charmer. The house is fairly custom and Scott spoke honestly that his team could replace our sills, but that it'd be better to go with someone who specialized in custom stuff. We also needed our side door, damaged by termites/fungus, replaced and he said that while his team could replace the door, it'd be more economical to hire a handyman to do the work. As first time homeowners and people who haven't dealt with this stuff before, we appreciated that he wasn't trying to get us to hire him for work that could easily be done more economically. Professionalism: Scott was on time for our appt, communicated effectively/respectfully/and knows his stuff. Very professional team too. Note: Innova did subcontract the tenting itself to another company, Driskell Fumigation, which we had a great experience with as well. Craig @ Driskell was also highly professional and communicative. He also recommended someone who prepped our foliage prior to the tenting work. The guy who prepped the foliage was fantastic. All in all, great experience and great people involved! Recommend Innova. Will follow up on this review in the event the termites return sooner than expected. read more

Scott is great! Genuine, very professional and thorough at what he's doing. He performed a pest inspection for our house -- Scott walked us through every detail and was very helpful in answering all the questions we had. The comprehensive report came back the same day. I'm very pleased with the results, and I can only recommend Scott to anyone who needs a termite inspection. read more

Scott did a great job for me with my fumigation! He came out initially before I purchased the house and as part of his inspection, although he quoted me prices to fix things, he gave me several tips on several of the items that could be done by handyman for significantly less money, including details on what I would need to do it. Since I had the fumigation scheduled, but later was concerned about rodents getting killed by the fumes and stinking up the attic, I asked if Scott could help out. He offered to come by, set rodent traps, and remove all of the primary methods for rodent entry for a very nominal fee! When he came by, he even got up on the roof of our 2-story house to fill in some crevices near the chimneys. Would definitely recommend his services. He has been extremely accommodating and pleasant to work with! read more

Really appreciate the honesty and thoroughness of my initial conversations with Patti at Innova Termite. We're very cautious, particularly as we have beehives on our property. There is no hard sales push either--they are clearly experienced, well-researched, and seem to have genuinely taken into account the variable issues and potential concerns here. My only feedback is that the company is promoted as "woman-owned" yet Scott is listed as the business owner. Patty tells me she is also a business owner and she definitely knows her stuff -- not sure why she is not listed as such here? Anyway, thanks Patti! I will definitely follow-up with this company going forward. read more

Scott recently did some repairs on a house a my husband and I purchased. The house is older and had more damage than initially anticipated- the inspection prior to purchasing the house was done by a different company. Scott kept us in the loop the whole time and explained what each repair was. He even sent photos of some of the damage to us as he was working. He also worked with a tight move in schedule to get the fumigation done. Patti did an amazing job communicating with us and keeping us up to date on the cost of everything. She even offered to come pick up our final check and brought us a house warming bouquet. I would definitely use Innova Termite again and recommend them. read more

As a realtor, I love working with Scott and Patti because I know my clients are always getting the best quality inspections and exceptional customer service. Scott has even offered to review the inspections with first-time buyers to help them understand what they need to do to the home. I have had great success with their third-party contractors who did the tenting on my clients homes. I have worked with other inspectors but always chose Innova because I know I can trust them. This business is all about honestly and transparency and that is exactly the kind of service that Innova Termite provides. read more

Thorough & great service! The only company our real estate agent will use. Scott & Patti did our termite inspection when we first bought our property. They did an amazing job! Patti was very patient & spent a loooong time with me on the phone explaining everything and answering all my many questions, especially since I didn't know much about termites or how any of the treatments work. Scott came over and was very thorough, he looked properly through the whole house & took his time. He updated me along the way explaining things and answered all of my questions. His pricing was very fair and he was honest with his results & didn't try to make us do treatments that were unnecessary. I will definitely come back to Innova Termite for any future needs! read more

Very professional and honest. Definitely understand the cost of the comprehensive inspection rather than getting it free and getting told that that there is major termite damage. Communication was good - owners lived close by and dropped off the prep kit. An area that could have been improved was the mention of contacting PG&E to turn back on the gas as this sometimes takes 3-4 days for an appointment. Otherwise no complaints. read more

I have been in the real estate business for 25+ years and want to recommend their company. As a real estate professional, I worked with a few different termite inspectors. I began using Scott about 12 years ago when he worked at another company. His service and professionalism were unbeatable, so I always requested him for my inspections. When Scott ventured out to start Innova, I followed along. Scott and Patti have developed a customer focused business. They have made it easy for agents to schedule inspections, extremely responsive, trustworthy, very thorough, communicate effectively and are well respected in the industry. Scott always has time for questions and explains everything to both agents and clients alike. I have referred Innova to other agents, friends and neighbors, and the feedback I receive is always glowing. I would highly recommend Innova without hesitation! read more

We were impressed by Scott's knowledge and his professional manner. He was interested in resolving our termite and dry rot problem but in a way that fit in with our schedule and what we wanted. Whenever we had questions Scott explained fully what needed to be done and alternative ways to achieve it. We chose to go with the formal inspection route even though that has a fee because it was more thorough than the free, but less extensive, inspection. He found subterranean termite damage under the family room which was due in part to faulty construction of the concrete steps on our patio. The concrete steps had to be removed and re-done. When we could not find a concrete contractor to re-do the steps Scott found someone who did an excellent job. Scott also found dry rot damage in several spots around some windows, a sliding glass door and two chimneys. His worker, Alfredo, was very meticulous removing and replacing the damaged pieces. We appreciate the fact that the worksite was always cleaned up at the end of the day. Scott mentioned his rates are not the cheapest. But considering the quality of the work, it was well worth it. I'd highly recommend using Innova for termite inspection and repairs. They do a superior job. read more

I highly recommend Innova Termite. Scott really cares about taking care of your termite problems and your home. He is genuine and owns the business himself. He is not about trying to charge you a lot of money. The money that he charges you is what is needed in order to do a thorough job in taking care of those termites in your home. I am the manager of a small storage facility and the apartment where my resident managers live had termite damage in the children's room. Katie and Mike raved about Scott and how impressed they were with his work. read more

What can I say, Scott came, tented did the repairs on time and as quoted. A few days after tenting in the throws of renovations we discovered hidden termite damage that was not found during the inspection (Good thing we decided to tent and not spot treat!!!). Scott came out the very next day at no charge to assess the damage so my reno time line was not pushed back at all! Fortunately the damage was not structural and we got the go ahead to continue repairs. Innova Termite was easy to work with and we are happy with the outcome!! read more

Patti and Scott were easy to work with and extremely professional. Their work was thorough, the report very good and everything worked like it was supposed to. Through the years I've been a real estate agent, I've used several termite Inspectors. But once I met Scott and hired Innova, I knew I'd found my 'go to' termite company. Scott and Patti run a great company and have proven to be the best in the business. He arrives on time, inspections are thorough, all questions answered, and the reports they generate are clear and easy to understand. I've used them on my personal residence and have recommended them to my neighbors. He helped them prioritize what areas needed to be to addressed first, and what areas could wait. That's an important detail and Scott's honest accessment was very valuable to them. 5 STAR RECOMMENDATION with no reservation. read more
