We got a quick response from Tim and set up an appointment with Fili to come out for an assessment and estimate for the job. We had found a tiny hole in the wall by our ceiling of our entryway with tiny shavings of wood around it and on the floor below. Fili examined our attic, crawlspace, interior and exterior of our house. He found evidence of termites in the front of our house on the siding by our front door and in the spot we found. Luckily it wasn't too bad and could be resolved with localized treatment where they drill small holes and squirt in a foam that kills the termites. He gave us an estimate. And we got back to him after a few other termite companies came out and checked our house and fave estimates. It seems the other two companies were not as thorough as Fili. The other companies didn't even check the front siding of our house and were more expensive. We booked our appointment with Chang An Termite Control. They showed up today on time and got to work. The job was done is an hour. We were very pleased with their excellent customer service, their professionalism and honesty. They did an amazing job.

I reached out to about 8 different companies. Several of these were recommended to me by friends and family. I decided on three different companies. I scheduled appointments for them to come out and do a walkthrough/estimates/inspections. One never showed up (No showed TWICE). The other two companies did. From the beginning, Matt put me, and especially my mother, at ease about the process, the products they used, the other things we needed to consider in the overall plan of house repairs, improvements, etc. Customer Service is a big part of any company. Loved that I could text or call. Either method I decided to use was promptly answered. They offered a very explicit and thorough walk through of the timeline, what needed to be done, what to expect, etc. THIS was huge. I love checking off a to do list and this was super helpful to keep me and my family focused on what needed to be done. Alex (Alejandro) and team were super helpful on Friday morning when they showed up to put up the tent. Alex answered all of my questions and even relocated one of our Ring cameras so we could keep an eye on our home while we were away. THIS was special and put us at ease that we didn't need to be hanging out in our backyard for hours into the night or camped out in the back yard to feel like we were keeping our property safe. They also did what they could to keep some of our oldest rose bushes around our home alive. They moved the tent behind the bushes where they could to still keep a good seal around the property. I just want to say that they did warn us that any vegetation//bushes/plants, etc. would probably die in the process if they were under/inside the fumigation tent. That was how terrible my flea infestation had gotten. I had gotten rid of them before, but this time it was just more than I could handle. It had simply started with Frontline being ineffectual with their formula (screw you Frontline), but snowballed into one of the most hellish experiences I'd ever gone through. The only reprieve has been through Honest Pest Control. When we had finally given up on trying to "do it ourselves", we found Robert's business. He had the best rate of the 4 services we called. First, he asked what type of medications our animals were on. Since he was spraying both inside and outside, he wanted to make sure his pest-control solutions wouldn't react poorly with our pets. Even we hadn't thought of that... but it just shows how much care he puts into his work and service! Secondly, our fleas REFUSED go away. Even after the first treatment, we still found more fleas. Robert came back immediately free of charge to spray again with a different solution. Even after the second spray, they STILL wouldn't go away. One call later, Robert came back for a THIRD time to spray a new solution. He even surveyed our neighbor's yard to make sure the fleas weren't coming in from that direction. Lastly, Robert even made sure to dump out our dogs' water bowls before we got back home. He wanted to make sure that he wasn't contaminating their food or drink. This was something we normally would've had to taken care of ourselves when we got back home after the spray service, but these small kind actions were what really impressed us with his service. We couldn't be happier with the service and how many times he was willing to come back to re-spray, free of additional charge, making sure he got the job "done". In terms of communication, pricing, and care - you can't do any better than Honest Pest Control. I think after this fiasco, finally biting the bullet to hire a professional service, we won't ever be trying to "do it ourselves" again. While others were positive I was seeing a wingless subterranean termite, they identified the insect as harmless. Since I am nonetheless nervous about termites, I decided to take advantage of their free inspections, which is typical of the industry I believe. And a good thing. About a week later and just a couple days before they were to come over, there was a big deposit of Frasse in our bedroom. I took a picture and posed the question to Gemini and Meta AI, which both identified it as from dry wood termites. When Robert came, he did the same. Robert explained the immigration details well. Kept in touch. Fumigator who put tent on also was communicative. Does not appear that I received a call in advance from person who took tent off. Would have liked that. Overall, I am happy with the results so far. Well, at least I feel like they did the work and I am hopeful that I will not see any termite Frasse in the next three years, which is their guarantee. I would use them again for a fumigation.

The only problem I have is The Company said " once the termite work is completed they would come out and do a re-inspection at no costs. " They failed to mention it had to be done with them only or they will charge a new termite report for $325.00. Again, No problem if I have to repay. The problem is they agreed to do the re inspection and canceled it a day later due to them not getting the repair job. I told them their prices were 50% higher for simple repairs. Most customers can do the simple repairs or have a contractor friend do it below costs. This is the first time a termite company refused to complete the final inspection in the last 20 years. IT IS BETTER TO PICK A TERMITE COMPANY THAT ONLY DOES THE REPORTS. NO WORK, this way you know they are not trying to make a higher profit on inflated repair jobs.

They have their own in-house fumigation team, rather than sub-contracting it out. Also, they originally did our subterranean treatment in 2024. We ended up renovating the landscape and digging up some soil around the perimeter of the home. They came back to re-treat the home and our planned shed area at no extra cost.
