Seco de Res is always delicious, like a homemade stew. Everything is worth a try and the staff is beyond welcoming and friendly! Worth a visit or perfect for an easy carry out that will taste better next day.

This place is located in the Dillonvale strip mall, near the IGA. We've been waiting for it to open so that we could give it try. This evening we stopped in for dinner and thought it was pretty good. The complimentary chips & salsa were average. Nothing special but good. My husband ordered the Camarones A La Diabla. I ordered the Arroz Verde Con Pollo. Both of us enjoyed our meals and thought they had good flavor. Although, I wish there had been more chicken in my dish. The chicken was delicious but there was very little of it and I mostly had a plate of rice. The server was friendly and efficient. We'd give this place a 3.5 and will stop back in to try more of their menu.

What a beautiful hidden gem! I was in town for work and couldn't believe there was a Peruvian restaurant in the area. My best friend is Peruvian and her mom can throw down in the kitchen so I was excited to see what this place had going on. To my delight it was AMAZING. I got the civiche and papa a la hauncaini. Both were absolutely delicious and I felt like I was at home with my best friend. The staff was super friendly and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly, highly recommend this place.

I was very thrill when this place open and after some family members went I was excited to give it a try. So we went on a Sunday afternoon and it was empty. The place is quiete small, but like any family owned restaurant type of vibe. We ordered Choclo con queso, anticuchos and Tallarín saltado. I was not a fan of the Tallarin saltado, I don't feel like it tasted truly Peruvian. Also, the anticuchos were okay, the sauce that came with it was awesome though. Not sure if I will go back, maybe to try other dishes.

Tallarines verdes . Ceviche. Creative plate. That's about it.

We are always looking for a restaurant that represents the food of that ethnicity. This was by far the worst restaurant I have eaten in the Cincy area. Terrible service. Smelly and stale smell in the restaurant. I ordered tallarines verdes and it seemed like they came out of a can. My friend who happens to be from Peru ordered ceviche. It was awful also. Not fresh and felt like previously frozen and just thawed. Please, do yourself a favor and get a pizza. Don't eat here.

The service was fast, the staff was pleasant, there was tons of space for my antsy toddler to run a circle around our table and not bother anyone. The food was prepared well but all of it wasn't seasoned well. Here's what we ate: --Bistek de pollo a la pobre (thin pan fried chicken breast topped with a fried egg, served with rice, fries, and plantains). This chicken was perfection. So flavorful. I could've done without the egg but I also asked for it to be fried hard to do away with any funniness. I bet it's extra tasty that way for ppl who like that type of thing. --Mojarra Dorado (a fried whole tilapia). Cooked perfectly but the "Peruvian spices" the menu promises were either nonexistent or tasteless. We took most of this home, and I seasoned it up and added a sauce...much better and a quick meal! --kids chicken nuggets. I didn't try it, and honestly my little ppl were already full because of what I'm about to share next. Unsure if the toddler would like it, we fed the 3yo Wendy's chicken nuggets (it's in the same parking lot) before going in. While we were eating another couple came in with their little one in tow and a chick-fil-a bag...so maybe it's a thing to feed your children what they want so you can enjoy your experience in peace ‍ Either way, the staff seemed fine with them bringing food in. Lastly, about the staff being great: my 1yo upchucked before the food came, on herself and the highchair. They brought me paper towels to clean her up and then took away the dirty chair to clean and brought us a new one. I was all ready to clean that chair myself but they wouldn't let me. It was a kind gesture.

They were at an old location before, but the upgrade is way nicer. You can definitely come here with the family, kids, or by yourself. Prices: The price for the food can get expensive but the amount of food they give you is worth it. So definitely the price and food amount add up. Like my fav dish is the fried rice, and it's like 22$, but it feeds 2. Service- I think they could do a lot better with their service it takes them a while before the waiter will come around and refill your water, so not bad but not the best. Just whenever you get your waiter or waitress, make sure you give everything to them because you might not see them in a while. Food - the food here is amazing it tastes very fresh and very flavorful. From a 0 and spice level to 100 if you like, I love the variety of that. Like I said, my favorite food here is the fried rice with shrimp. I could eat this every day with the green pepper. I would have posted pictures, but I ate it before I could even think next time, LOL.

Hell, we're still sussing out the Colombian vs. Venezuelan arepa rivalry. But the arepa pabellon at Arrechissimo (this apparently means "awesome" in Venezuelan Spanish) wins the prize for us so far, and it's not even close. Even if it initially seems expensive at $13.50, it is a near-miraculous little food item, regardless of one's knowledge about arepas generally. It's perfect in its simplicity and greater than the sum of its parts: Wonderful white-corn flatbread style rolls with a great balance of fluffy and crisp, flavorful shredded beef, fried plantains, black beans, and melted mild cheese. Add the spicy cilantro salsa, which is just about perfect in its own right. By the way, despite its compact size, the arepa pabellon is plenty filling. Arrechissimo is just a food stand with maybe four outdoor tables. The setting in quiet Deer Park is pleasant and comfortable enough, when the weather is reasonably nice. Unfortunately for us, Arrechissimo is far enough away that carryout is not a suitable option during those too-many months when Cincinnati weather is not so nice. We were welcomed warmly and seated at what I think is the very best table in the restaurant. It's the booth that feels like you're almost in your own private room. It kind of hugged us into our own little world and was perfect for a birthday dinner. Then there was Joel, the loveliest of servers. Fun, funny, knowledgeable about the food and just delightful. Joel gets five stars all by himself. We all started with the El Luchador cocktails. They were SPICY. Probably a touch too spicy for some people, but we loved them. Now, I'll be honest. When I first looked at the menu, I was concerned. I don't like goat cheese. I know, I know. I like ALL the other cheeses, just not goat cheese. And this is a goat cheese heavy menu. But I jumped to conclusions because there turned out to be plenty for me to eat. We started with the PAN CON TOMATE. Get this. It's amazing. It seems like it should be simple, but they've somehow elevated it to another level. SANDÍA CON MACHA. This is one of those dishes where you imagine someone in the kitchen putting these flavors together and asking, "Is this good?" And the answer is YES. ACEITUNAS ALIÑADAS Y QUESO MURCIA AL' VINO. They were kind enough to keep my olives from mingling with the goat cheese. The olives I had were meaty and delicious. MEJILLONES CON VINO. My FAVORITE. The mussels were fantastic, but the fennel and that dreamy broth were what really did it for me. PULPO. I tried it. It was delicious. Eating octopus just freaks me out because they're so smart. This is not Mita's fault. This is between me and the octopus. TOSTADA DE CANGREJO. My second favorite thing of the night. A party-in-your-mouth situation. YUM. TACOS DE CORDERO. I didn't eat these, but the others in our party were very happy. BROCHETAS DE POLLO. By this point we were FULL, but these were still very good. Tender, nutty and just the right amount of kick. Overall, the flavors here are unexpected in the best possible way and clearly created by someone who really knows their stuff. If you're up for a culinary adventure, this is absolutely the place. And even if you're not particularly adventurous, there are plenty of delicious things here that can make a special night feel even more special. This spot was close to our hotel so we made a reservation for a group dinner here. It's a nice looking restaurant with fitting decor that doesn't feel overly stuffy but has a colorful elegance to it. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a variety of items, including the empanadas, the plantains, 2 ceviches, cheese plate, chicken skewers, and mussels. The empanadas, standard ceviche, and skewers were good. The rest were pretty meh. See my pictures for more but it was a very uneven meal. I got the cheesecake for dessert and it was slightly frozen in the middle. All in all, it's a good restaurant but not great as the food was inconsistent. But if you want to come on a date or for a group dinner, it's worth the visit. Just be selective of what you get.

Today, my bank statement shows they took $14 out on tip. Instead of $69.99 I was billed $79.99. I called the restaurant to complain and inquire about what happened. They told me I needed to send them pictures of the check to a personal cell phone number. Even though this seemed unnecessary I complied. Then they sent me the picture attached to this review as if to dispute my claim and told me, "It says $14". I was like "Yeah, because someone wrote an a 1 in-front of the 4! Look at the total: $69.99 that is what I wrote in after the $4 tip I left." I explained to them that their picture only further proves my point that their staff had written in extra $10 for themselves out of my pocket. They apologized and said I could come get $10 cash and they'd talk to the waiter. Unacceptable. I made a special trip out during middle of my workday to go collect the $10 they wrongly took and will not be returning. I will be sharing this on multiple platforms to warn others to be cautious.
