Use to go for tacos like every week then life got busy but the staff was always great and remembered us. Love the frozen margs usually pretty strong which is the goal when you are paying $15 for a drink. We received our entrees before our appetizer, our drinks sat empty for a long time until we managed to flag her down for refills, we didn't receive silverware until after all the food had been dropped off, and we were told she would pick up the checks and after waiting about 10 minutes and going up front to pay, our server is sitting in a booth on her cell phone. This is by far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I actually found this online a couple of years ago and have been going ever since. I usually get their steak tacos, which are beautifully simple and packed full of flavor. My friend I usually go with lives for their enchiladas suizas. Very small place, but NOT intimate! Building must have been from a 1960's franchise of some kind. I had a pile of something on my plate called paisano something or other and with sides it was enough to feed two grown men, but too greasy and too salty for me. So, I've never been so sad about a review in my life. This place had become a twice a week stop for us. The food is delicious and they have the best al pastor that I've ever tasted. One thing that I always found questionable about the place though was their cleanliness. Many times there are piles of rags just thrown out the back door in a heap of nastiness and the men's bathroom is worth avoiding at all costs. Still, we overlooked that stuff for the food. Well the last time we were there a gigantic cockroach crawled across our booth and was on its way onto my shoulder when a look of horror appeared on the face of my wife. I just love this place. I drop in frequently to get some guacamole to go. It takes a minute because they make it fresh with each order. They have great salsas as well. Can't comment on much of the food, because I always get the same thing. Carne asada tacos. They're perfect. Steak, onion and cilantro on corn tortillas. They have specials on Mondays ($1.99 small margaritas) and Tuesdays ($0.99 tacos). Wish they had a Wednesday special, because it seems like that's always when I'm by this place!
