Very interesting mix of eccentric tacos. I do like the fact that you can get a flight and mix and match any type of tacos for a three taco plate. When eating here please be aware that a "taco" isn't like any other taco you have. The flavors will be munch mixed up as they have taco flavors such as a big Mac type taco. My son took me here for lunch. The ambiance is typical day of the dead. Our server seated us & took our drink order immediately while we perused the menu. I ordered the Alderman taco & OG corn fritters. My son got quesabirria tacos. Our order came out in about 10 minutes. I've gotten the corn fritters before & I'm pretty sure they were served over a bed of elote corn. The corn fritters were delicious but definitely missing the elote corn that rounded off the dish nicely. My son enjoyed his tacos. Our bill shows a "merchant fee" of $1.07 & that is just tacky! I am incredibly picky about my Mexican food and this is some of the best. You can build your own taco flight and wowzers they are amazing!! The fajita is out of this world. Stopped in on a beautiful Saturday night. This place was packed. Great space, I love the open airiness of it. We sat at the bar. It took a while to get a drink, but the bartender was apologetic, so that acknowledgement helped. The menu was different the Liberty Center one. I had a veggie quesadillas and added the herbed grilled chicken. It was a lot of food, so I had half the next day. Definitely will be back, maybe after the hype dies down. read more

This restaurant is definitely a cool spot to visit, with the bold decor and murals and the wild menu choices. The menu is loaded with atypical Mexican options, most notably the tacos that are huge and loaded with all sorts of crazy ingredients. Everything is packed with flavor, but know that things do tend towards the spicier side. The service was attentive, and even though the restaurant was packed we got out food in a reasonable amount of time. I wish the prices were a bit cheaper, because that's the main deterrent from me going more often. read more

I'm a big fan of Agave & Rye but this was my first time at this location. It was my wife and I with our 16 y/o daughter. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. The crowd was fair. The atmosphere was great per the usual Agave & Rye theme. Our server was Jason, he was very personable and seamed to enjoy his job. He did a great job! I had a Taco flight with the Snitch, Alderman and my favorite, the Gangsta. All three were delicious. My wife had the Islander which Jason warned her about the sauce being spicy and recommended on the side, which she was glad it was in the side...way too spicy! The menu failed to mention that. My wife still loved the taco. My daughter had the chopped salad and it was also good. We all shared an order of the Corn Fritters, also delicious. Probably one of the worst meals of my life!! If they were to put the same effort into food quality as they do on decor they could have a decent dish..... where to start; I had the Birria tacos and it was a complete disaster, the meat used for the Birria clearly is not the one is supposed to be, the tacos were just a sea of bad quality cheese and 4 strips of meat, my wife's tacos were simply filled with rice and two strips of chicken, the guac & chips are absolutely disastrous, the guac was sour and clearly not fresh..... Service was disappointing as well... and the cost vs food quality is just atrocious. I work in the food industry and definitely this place doesn't deserve a better review. What a disaster of a meal. Loved my experience here! First time at the new location in downtown Hamilton and it's so cute with amazing interior design and ample parking. The food was amazing. Our service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday night. I highly recommend anything that has pulled pork on it.

The service was excellent and Kim went above and beyond for us! We had the Swipe Right, the egg rolls, the tater tots, and 3 custom ordered tacos. The tots were incredible and the egg rolls were so interesting. During our conversation, I mentioned a dessert I had in the past, and even though it was no longer on the menu, the team lead came out and assured us they could make it. The steak was a tad overdone for my preference but didn't take away from the flavor of the taco. I had never dined at this location, though Ive been to the liberty location a few times. This place was no less impressive! Sarah, our server was top-shelf friendly and helpful. I would say "actually impressed" by a server. The decor isn't something I'd copy at home, but it's suits things well enough. I could see a rather large outdoor dining space and I'm eager to return in warmer weather. A Personal pet peeve is music volume. And here, it was perfect. My friend and I could carry in a comfortable conversation, yet still feel the vibe of the tune selection. Of course the food is great! I appreciate the menu, which is taco-heavy! There are options for simple or traditional palates. And there are options for adventurous foodie types. The new taco flight was excellent--smaller portions of more options so you can sample many. All in all, an excellent afternoon Ps - the desserts are huge! Two of us couldn't finish a shared plate. We love Kim ! My girl has been coming here for a while, and she told me about a brief moment they had bonded on a special day. This was my first time there so, when Kim was our server I was a bit excited as her energy and customer service was already radiating. The ambiance was really intriguing I kept finding new art and decorum to look at.
