Going to Rome and meeting up San Francisco natives that now live there. I learned that the highest population of Latinos in Rome is actually Peruvians. I myself am Asian and Spanish. Once I found this out I was amazed I had to eat Peruvian food in Rome. And I'll tell you what it's better than all the top Peruvian places in San Francisco. It's more of a home cooked meal made with love. In San Francisco you have one hole in the wall restaurant that's the best it's Asian and Latin owned. Still the prices are over priced! Who could afford that? Moving onto the amazing food! My good friend is brilliant and her husband and her birthday just passed so I've decided to treat them. Of course she got the Lomo. Her husband got the beef steak and honestly I was jealous. Ceviche Fish and shrimp was amazing. Big portions we don't get this in San Francisco CA. I'm so thankful for this place and it was amazing taking a break from Pizza and pasta. Customer service was amazing. read more

Great find in Rome. This is my 3rd time here and the review is overdue. Recommend: Arroz con Pollo (Sundays only) Pollo a la Brasa (available daily) Sangria The arroz con pollo is my favorite!!! I was disappointed on this visit when I learned that it's served on Sunday only. However if you like flavorful risotto (risotto verde) and chicken, you can't lose with this dish. This Peruvian restaurant is located about five blocks from Termini Station. The food is excellent, price very reasonable and great service! They make fresh natural lemonade and you can order the jar for only $5 euros. Compare to several Italian restaurants that we previously tried, this is the one that offered us a variety of food selection (e.g., chicken, fish, meat). After eating pasta, paninies and pizza for several days, we really enjoyed it! read more

We were walking by this place on the way to another restaurant when we decided to change plans and eat here. Wow, are we glad we did. An excellent value for what you get. The food here is phenomenal. We've had great Peruvian in NY and even Peru! But the attention to detail here is extraordinary. We started with Pisco sours, delicious. Perfect amount of pisco and ice cold. Very refreshing on a hot, Roman day walking around. It came with some roasted corn to snack on which was so crunchy and just enough salt, we ate the whole thing. Then we had the single-fish ceviche. You have to get this. Super fresh and the taste and flavors are making my mouth water as I type this. They sell the juice from their ceviche to drink (as many Peruvian places do). But we had our own from our dish that we did not let go to waste. We finished it off with a half-chicken and fries which comes with several dippping sauces which are each different and excellent. The chicken could be eaten on its own without the sauces though, the spice rub they put on it is that flavorful. We were so stuffed we couldn't eat dessert. However, while we were there we made a reservation for another night - we never do that. read more
