I had the Ceviche Mixta ! It was delicious. It had fresh fish, octopus and shrimp. Perfectly cooked in lime juice ! My wife had the Ceviche with seafood rice. It's a also amazing ! As you can see, the portions are quite large, and the prices are actually not so expensive. I think it would be more accurate to mark this as €€ rather than €€€. This place is amazing!!! Definitely come here if you want something other than pasta or pizza. It's in a very convenient location and the food is AMAZING. DEF try the tamales (Tamal) and the fried chicken (Pollo Broaster). It's Peruvian style/food that makes me want to make my way over to Peru lol. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned and comes with fries and salad. The tamales come with a little salad which goes perfectly either by itself or on top of the tamales. The steak (Bistek/ ensalada/ papas) comes with fries and salad. Comes pretty well done (they don't ask how rare you want it) and its def seasoned well. No A1 sauce needed. The Peroni is also a nice Italian beer that compliments the food well. Totally recommend coming here. Service is nice and it's not too crowded (came around 6pm on a Friday). read more

Who would have thought that there was a decent Peruvian presence in Rome, Italy? Being part Peruvian myself, it was surely a surprise, and a damn tasty one at that. Located within a 5 minute walk from the centrally located Piazza de Popolo. Don't fret, we'll, partially do not fret, for they do speak Spanish in addition to Italian. I'm not sure how the English is, but two languages is a better chance than one. Not only is it a very generous portion for the price (especially in Rome), but it is also very tasty. The rice is superb, and I consider myself a rice connoisseur. I also recommend ordering the yuca frita, and ask for some butter to put on it. It is an appetizer that resembles a fried potato slice, but it is a type of root. I ordered the Bistec a lo pobre, which is a thin tender steak with rice, French fries, a fried banana, and a little side salad. The meat had a bit of fat on it, but the pieces that did not were juicy good. The fries were fresh and the rice was good as I stated. I tried some of the ceviche and wasn't too impressed, it tasted not so fresh. But then again, I just visited Lima, Perú over the summer, so it's hard to beat the actual homeland dishes. While I did not have any chicken, I believe that this Lima Chicken is known for their chicken. To drink I highly recommend ordering a 1.5 liter of Inca Cola, the "Golden Cola". Very good and unique to Perú, and some rare latino stores. The service is great, and I might be a little biased because being Peruvian, and seeing how my grandmother visits often when in Rome, gives us some more familiarity. The speed of service is surprisingly fast, as my plate came before I had even finished my appetizer. There are many tables and plenty of room for big groups, there is also free wifi (just ask politely). I will certainly come back, hopefully before I leave Rome, and being at the foot of my usual walking trek, it's easy to access. I usually start my city touring from Piazza de Popolo, and then walk all throughout till the Flavian Amphitheater and such. The bathroom is clean, but very small. It is for one individual at a time, per gender, and the fact that they ask you to put the toilet paper in the trash instead does make the smell not the best at times. Oh, and might I add that if you are positioned just right you can pure 2, possibly 3 Pokestop from the restaurant, and catch all the European exclusives like Mr. Mime and Minum. read more

Stumbled upon this place by accident and had to try it. Being Cuban-American, I'm always looking for any place that has food like the one from home. Plus, everyone knows Peruvian roasted chicken is awesome. This place did not disappoint. They also had tostones (or plantains) which is extremely hard to find here in Italy. The price tag has 3 euros on it but it was definitely more affordable than other restaurants we have eaten at. We've been traveling through Europe for almost 2 weeks and were desperate for some rice! We are Peruvian and hoped we could find a place with our food. The picture shows what we ordered: arroz verde (green rice and chicken; it is green from cilantro), ceviche (fish cooked in lime), and lomo saltado (steak and French fries in a delicious sauce of tomatoes and onions). We drank a traditional fruit juice called maracuya. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat Peruvian food while here. So delicious and so stuffed. read more
