I really need a local Italian to help me. Yeah, I'm slow... remember, I'm from the South. I ordered the Mezza Maniche Carbonara. I mean, you can't really go wrong with noodles, cheese, and pork, right? A few minutes after ordering, they brought out this little appetizer-looking thing that I'm still confused about. They were both tasty, she didn't finish the carbonara, it's made with eggs and cheese, plus a thick sliced pancetta, so it's very filling. The multi gelato came in three scoops, chocolate, hazelnut and pistachio with a heart shaped waffle cookie and splash of chocolate sauce. I liked the dessert better than the soup, it was okay, but needed a little more spices to my taste. There is outdoor seating available if you want to brave the cold weather. I tripped over the steps to the restroom twice, you need to watch your steps going into their little hallway. I'm a little clutzy, so you'll want to be careful of the inside steps there. The only thing I can say that was off, was the older woman who was paying her bill before me was pressured into leaving a tip ( service charge, is what he said). I was prepared for that but was not asked to tip. Great meal, we enjoyed it immensely, but the service charge that was scammed out of the 70+ year old lady in front of me kind of left a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to tip a few euros because we enjoyed ourselves so much, but decided not to because of the way it was presented to the party before us.

I literally cleaned my plate with the last of the breading from it. The owner/chef was Luca. He was upset with the host because he had burned the plastic on the outdoor tent as he had placed a heater too close to it. To be honest, he seemed like a bit of a jerk, but his food was freaking delicious.
