Great Rome Seafood! This small spot near the Campo di Fiore was a great experience! We decided to sit inside for our meal as it was hot outside, and we practically had the restaurant to ourselves. Our waiter spoke good English and handed us the menus. After a brief perusal, we asked for recommendations from the staff and his opinion was on point! We ordered everything he suggested, including the wine, and we had a phenomenal meal. We had the octopus and mussels with toast to start. These were delicious and was enough to enjoy but not make ourselves full for the main courses. The two pasta dishes we got were the spaghetti with clams and linguine with various seafood. Good portion-size and delicious! The seafood was very fresh and yummy. Lastly came the baked salted fish. We got one sea bass and one sea bream along with salad and potatoes. Good flavor and phenomenal with a drizzle of olive oil. We capped it off with a very sweet and refreshing alcoholic lemon sorbetto. Loved the food and the service! Really enjoyable time and would return!

Quiet small place tucked away from the tourist crowds serving excellent seafood dishes. Nice bread basket and pasta dishes. No crowds seats about 30. Quick service and nice decor. Nice wine list and wines by the glass are about €7 They have daily specials and the full menu. Do yourself a favor and leave the pizza pasta joint for tourists and come here The staff are friendly and kind..

This is a surprisingly amazing little restaurant tucked in a quiet little street! I'm so glad we stopped by and gave it a try! Everything is exceptional! We'll definitely come back before we leave Rome.

Amazing dishes !!!! You have to come & try the tagliolini al Nero, the grilled sea bream, the seafood risotto, and their desserts! Lovely and welcoming atmosphere! Tim is great in introducing tasty dishes, would definitely come back again! We highly recommend this place !! Family from Alberta, Canada

Loved everything about this restaurant. The food was amazing. From the appetizers, to the pasta, to the dessert. The fried seafood was light and crisp. Didn't leave you feeling gross. The seafood pasta was exceptional. The server was also amazing and so fun to speak with. Will def go back

Staff was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious, but the table for two was a bit small for course meals, otherwise excellent/benni.

Very good, but overpriced and a little kitschy. We had the fritto misco and the special (sea bass with mussels and clams). Yum.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

Already depressed knowing we were returning to the cold and fearful Minneapolis, we spent the day packing and wandering Prati. After drowning our sorrows at a few cocktail emporiums in the early evening, we walked into Su e Giu without a reservation close to 9:30. The two guys working the front showed us to a table, and we proceeded to have a perfect last night meal. Our appetizers and pastas were great, service was friendly, and I spent time reflecting on how wonderful Rome is, rather than thinking about our return to the fractured States. Su e Giu Cucina Romana is the perfect Roman restaurant to feel La Dolce Vita. It is a sweet life indeed.

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. There are a few stools and table out front to enjoy your food hot. Both times I've been on separate visits within two years, has only shown me how consistent their food and quality is. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.
