Ink-B-Gone is a clean professional company and Shelly the owner is incredibly nice. I came here after deciding to get a second tattoo removed so I've experienced this procedure before. My last one cost $600 and was removed after three treatments so when I was quoted $826.20 (which is a discount rate) for three treatments it sounded correct. Unfortunately after three treatments it has barely lightened up so I decided to look else where. I tried another establishment and after one treatment (purchased five for $250) it was noticeably lighter. Granted the recovery time was longer but well worth it. Shelly had made mention to many factors such as my age, age of the tattoo and so on but I believe she just was not aggressive in her treatment. I know tattoo removal is highly subjective but using past and present experience I would not recommend Ink-B-Gone. That is unless you are independently wealthy and don't mind the extra cost and time to get results. read more

I've had a few tattoos that needed to be removed for a variety of reasons. In doing some research I found that not only was Ink B Gone the most highly reviewed tattoo removal spot I found, it was also reviewed as the most effective. My experience spoke for itself. Shelly has always taken the time to make certain that we are using the appropriate strength laser for the color being removed as well as properly spacing out treatments to avoid scarring, and allow for proper healing. A comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and tattoos virtually gone with no scarring! Only a couple more treatments to go. They also have pictures on the wall of other folks who have had the same experience as myself, as well as some from those who went elsewhere and then came to Ink B Gone to try and rectify the damage and scarring done by lesser quality removal centers. They are a little more expensive, and take a couple more treatments than other places quoted me, but they are well worth the cost. They don't do groupon, but I wouldn't get a groupon for a tattoo, why would I get one for a removal? And they run amazing 50% off specials bi-annually. And it's not really worth it to get a tattoo removed at a cheaper spot if it's just going to leave a tattoo shaped scar. Defeats the purpose. Long and short I wouldn't go to or recommend any other spot for tattoo removal than Shelly and the staff at Ink B Gone! I went to Ink Be Gone after 5 unsatisfying sessions at another Denver tattoo removal place. I felt like I was being "taken for a ride" at the previous clinic so wanted to try some place else. Everyone I spoke with was polite, knowledgeable and helpful when booking my appointment. During my first session, I first and foremost received a consultation and explanation of the process. This was well received since I did not get the information at my first visit at the other place. The actual removal and laser process isn't enjoyable but my technician always let me know when she was starting and when she was ending. I have had two treatments on my tattoo and it hasn't faded much. They told me to wait 4 weeks the first time and 6 weeks after the second treatment. I have not seen much difference. I don't think I will be going back. At this rate it will take 2-3 years before its gone. However, the people are very nice and the place is very clean. Ink B Gone is awesome. The staff is beyond helpful and very friendly, and most importantly they are good at what they do, because it is all they do! I have three tattoos that I do not want any longer but I was terrified that if I got them removed, they would be replaced by unsightly scars and end up looking worse than just leaving them there. When I went in for a consultation the girls put my mind at ease and explained that the reason they wait so long between appointments is to allow the skin to fully heal, and that the tattoo continues to fade over time after treatments. The free consultation was definitely a plus to let you know what will happen when you start the treatment and also let you know the cost of everything and the time frame it will take. I just got my first treatment today and it went very well. the woman who did it, Samone I believe is her name, is amazing. She was very kind and helpful with the whole thing. The staff at Ink-b-Gone understands this. The business is operated like a medical office and they are very clear about the fact that the procedure takes a while. Like a doctor's office, they clearly and accurately describe the procedure and recommended follow-up care, and do their best to mitigate discomfort during the procedure. After the first treatment, they follow up to see how you are doing and answer any questions. After subsequent treatments, they make it clear that they are always available to help and call their patients back quickly. Ink-B-Gone uses different types of laser frequencies and strengths to target different colors of ink, and they change the settings with every treatment. Tattoo removal is very individualized--the number of treatments varies based upon your body chemistry, your metabolism, your skin type, the types/colors of inks used, and the age of the tattoo. THERE IS NO ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL SOLUTION. If you are looking for an inexpensive, miracle removal then you are liable to be burned. . .literally. Prior to going to Ink-B-Gone, I had a single treatment on a small tattoo on my ankle. The technician seemed to think that because I have a high pain tolerance, she could just increase the strength of the laser to more aggressively/quickly remove my tattoo. The result was a burn that didn't heal for well over two months and the tattoo only had a minor fade. My treatments at Ink-B-Gone have been going slowly, but I feel comfortable with the progress.
