Ink-B-Gone is a clean professional company and Shelly the owner is incredibly nice. I came here after deciding to get a second tattoo removed so I've experienced this procedure before. My last one cost $600 and was removed after three treatments so when I was quoted $826.20 (which is a discount rate) for three treatments it sounded correct. Unfortunately after three treatments it has barely lightened up so I decided to look else where. I tried another establishment and after one treatment (purchased five for $250) it was noticeably lighter. Granted the recovery time was longer but well worth it. Shelly had made mention to many factors such as my age, age of the tattoo and so on but I believe she just was not aggressive in her treatment. I know tattoo removal is highly subjective but using past and present experience I would not recommend Ink-B-Gone. That is unless you are independently wealthy and don't mind the extra cost and time to get results. read more

I'm updating my review based on my experience elsewhere. I'm seeing better results with another place I started going to and also I feel that this place is a bit overpriced, see my tip for details. The staff was nice but for some reason I just feel like I kinda got ripped off, I won't be back. read more

I've had a few tattoos that needed to be removed for a variety of reasons. In doing some research I found that not only was Ink B Gone the most highly reviewed tattoo removal spot I found, it was also reviewed as the most effective. My experience spoke for itself. Shelly has always taken the time to make certain that we are using the appropriate strength laser for the color being removed as well as properly spacing out treatments to avoid scarring, and allow for proper healing. A comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and tattoos virtually gone with no scarring! Only a couple more treatments to go. They also have pictures on the wall of other folks who have had the same experience as myself, as well as some from those who went elsewhere and then came to Ink B Gone to try and rectify the damage and scarring done by lesser quality removal centers. They are a little more expensive, and take a couple more treatments than other places quoted me, but they are well worth the cost. They don't do groupon, but I wouldn't get a groupon for a tattoo, why would I get one for a removal? And they run amazing 50% off specials bi-annually. And it's not really worth it to get a tattoo removed at a cheaper spot if it's just going to leave a tattoo shaped scar. Defeats the purpose. Long and short I wouldn't go to or recommend any other spot for tattoo removal than Shelly and the staff at Ink B Gone! Amazing, professional, quality, comfortable, friendly, effective experience! read more

My new tattoo artist almost pretty much insisted that I get some old work lightened so he would be able to have the freedom to do a quality art piece on my arm instead of having to use large amounts of black to cover old existing work. I have never thought about tattoo removal before and to be honest I was scared of it. I read so many horror stories about the pain that I just never considered it an option. My tattoo artist referred me to Ink B Gone so I made an appointment for the consultation. The office is very clean and welcoming. My consultation was smooth and ALL questions answered. And because I'm a big baby (which is weird considering I'm heavily tattooed) I bought the numbing cream. Day of the treatment I was a wreck. Very nervous. I was instantly put at ease. A small test was done and I barely felt a thing due to the numbing cream. I was so scared for nothing! The experience opened up some doors for me in the fact that I will now be able to get a beautiful new tattoo. As silly as it sounds I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I recommend them and they are so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! My ankle is pretty much done at this point and we are still working on my lower back tattoo. I don't have a before picture, but at one time this was a stupid 18-year-old Unicorn tattoo that I was embarrassed to ever have bare legs with it on my ankle. Now, nothing is really there! read more

Being a service that you never plan on needing, I went into the process of tattoo removal not knowing what to expect. The office is clean, bright and welcoming. Simone is personable and makes the experience as comfortable as possible. She seems to really enjoy her job and is thorough and professional. I was surprised at how easy it was and I was impressed by the rates and flexibility in scheduling. All around I have had nothing but great experiences. read more

Completely blown away! I have been to a couple of other tattoo removal shops in town and on a scale of 1-10 this place is a 10. From the moment you step in the door to the minute you leave with your little care package and the follow up phone call a few days later you know this place is super professional and knows what they are doing. I am excited to see the results. Suffice to say, there is nowhere else in town I would recommend. read more

I am very impressed with this business, very clean, professional and accommodating! Simone is extremely courteous and understanding, thoroughly explains the procedure and very friendly! I highly recommend this business, they also offer military discount for former military which is very appreciated! It took me years to finally make an appointment with a tattoo removal company, for several reasons. I was nervous about the company I was going to choose as I've read horrific reviews about the tattoo removal process, and I've heard it can be very painful. Ink B Gone was very impressive. I decided to go with this company because they had some of the best reviews in the Denver metro area. Upon arriving to the building I was impressed with its upkeep and I was greeted in a very kind way. I didn't have to wait long to get the process started and each step of the process was clearly explained to me. Yes- it was painful, but it wasn't anything i didn't expect as I was told along the way what would be happening, how it would feel, and what to expect after. I was given a lot of information for post care of the tattoo and the woman who did my removal was extremely informative on the next steps to take. I have my next session for removal tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. read more

Great service. Staff very friendly. Excellent results! Would highly recommend. Scheduling is very easy and accommodating.

Ink B Gone is definitely one of the best in Denver. I have only had two sessions and my tattoo is almost completely gone (about 40 seconds of treatment total)!!! They are friendly and provide a nice office environment so that you're as comfortable as possibly. Shelly is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. Other people who have had the same treatments from other businesses are always amazed with how quickly my tattoo is disappearing. They say that it took twice as many treatments for them as it did me. read more

Having laser removal treatment on a bad drunken decision doesn't make you feel too good about yourself. The ladies here make the experience so much better. They are fun and friendly but still very professional. I am so glad that I got referred here. The environment is relaxed and clean. I would love to work in a place like this. Best in Denver. read more

My first visit went well. They were very upfront about what they were doing and the process. Everything was explained thoroughly. I've made a second appt and will look forward to results. read more

I'm going in today for my 3rd treatment and I'm starting to see the affects!!!!!! Thank you so much, I can't wait for this to be gone!!!

These folks are the best! On my first visit--which was an emotional one for me--I was treated with compassion, honesty, and patience. I can't imagine a better experience, and I am glad I found them! read more

Ink B Gone is awesome. The staff is beyond helpful and very friendly, and most importantly they are good at what they do, because it is all they do! I have three tattoos that I do not want any longer but I was terrified that if I got them removed, they would be replaced by unsightly scars and end up looking worse than just leaving them there. When I went in for a consultation the girls put my mind at ease and explained that the reason they wait so long between appointments is to allow the skin to fully heal, and that the tattoo continues to fade over time after treatments. I decided to start with just one of my tattoos, and I'm more than thrilled at the results. It is almost completely gone and I'm looking forward to starting the process on my other two tattoos soon. I can't say enough about the staff. They follow up, they are knowledgeable, and they are friendly. read more

Fantastic place. My sister has gotten 6 tattoos removed here. It's like they were never even there. I'm getting one off now. Can't wait to finish! read more

I thought the service and the results were great! I have only had one treatment, but I am already seeing a difference. It was fast and easy and I look forward to my next one! read more

Love this place! The ladies that work there are always very friendly, and professional. I've been getting my tattoos removed for about 2 years (3 tattoos now just finishing up the last one) Its very private, I've never seen anyone else in the office during my appointment. The facility is very clean, and they have new, and modern equipment. This place is a little pricier than some other places. But you get what you pay for. The staff is very well trained, with new lasers. I highly recommend Ink B Gone!! read more

With so many options in the Denver area, I'm happy I eventually chose Ink B Gone. Kind of funny name haha. Anyway, short, sweet service. While I'm not enthusiastic about the time it will take to get this "mistake" off my body, I'm confident I've placed this treatment in the right hands. It's the healthy, safe and less-stressful choice. read more

I thought this place was awesome. The free consultation was definitely a plus to let you know what will happen when you start the treatment and also let you know the cost of everything and the time frame it will take. I just got my first treatment today and it went very well. the woman who did it, Samone I believe is her name, is amazing. She was very kind and helpful with the whole thing. I can already see some of my blue ink faded. I especially loved the very very cold air they have flowing on the removal spot the whole time, you can barely even feel the lasers. There are two women that work here so it makes the whole thing very personal and I like that I won't have random different people each time I get a session. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a removal from a very clean and nice local tattoo removal company. 5 stars, because they are really awesome and gave me a nice goodie bag at the end with sunscreen, ointment, aquafor, and the best part, a blueberry Dum Dum lolly pop! read more

A very nice, tidy, welcoming place. Everyone was very friendly and informational. I was in and out of treatment in 10 minutes. Will definitely continue treatments at Ink B Gone. read more

Let's be clear about a couple things: 1) Tattoo removal doesn't happen overnight, in one treatment, or even (unless your very, very lucky) in three treatments. 2) Tattoo removal is a medical procedure and should be treated as such. The staff at Ink-b-Gone understands this. The business is operated like a medical office and they are very clear about the fact that the procedure takes a while. Like a doctor's office, they clearly and accurately describe the procedure and recommended follow-up care, and do their best to mitigate discomfort during the procedure. After the first treatment, they follow up to see how you are doing and answer any questions. After subsequent treatments, they make it clear that they are always available to help and call their patients back quickly. Ink-B-Gone uses different types of laser frequencies and strengths to target different colors of ink, and they change the settings with every treatment. Tattoo removal is very individualized--the number of treatments varies based upon your body chemistry, your metabolism, your skin type, the types/colors of inks used, and the age of the tattoo. THERE IS NO ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL SOLUTION. If you are looking for an inexpensive, miracle removal then you are liable to be burned. . .literally. Prior to going to Ink-B-Gone, I had a single treatment on a small tattoo on my ankle. The technician seemed to think that because I have a high pain tolerance, she could just increase the strength of the laser to more aggressively/quickly remove my tattoo. The result was a burn that didn't heal for well over two months and the tattoo only had a minor fade. My treatments at Ink-B-Gone have been going slowly, but I feel comfortable with the progress. The assurance that I will not be trading in some ugly tattoos for some ugly scars is 100% worth the time and money. read more

I went to Ink Be Gone after 5 unsatisfying sessions at another Denver tattoo removal place. I felt like I was being "taken for a ride" at the previous clinic so wanted to try some place else. Everyone I spoke with was polite, knowledgeable and helpful when booking my appointment. During my first session, I first and foremost received a consultation and explanation of the process. This was well received since I did not get the information at my first visit at the other place. The actual removal and laser process isn't enjoyable but my technician always let me know when she was starting and when she was ending. A considerate and gentle approach I thought was great. read more

Great atmosphere, always on time and super friendly staff. I'm on my 4th session and my tattoo is definitely starting to disappear!

I have had two treatments on my tattoo and it hasn't faded much. They told me to wait 4 weeks the first time and 6 weeks after the second treatment. I have not seen much difference. I don't think I will be going back. At this rate it will take 2-3 years before its gone. However, the people are very nice and the place is very clean. I've seen other before and after pictures but its just not working fast enough for me. read more

Staff is really welcoming and gracious, the location is very clean and the tattoo removal process wasn't as frightening as I thought it would have been. I've had 3 sessions for a hand tattoo removal and each time the technician thoroughly explained the procedure, she carefully uncontaminated the tools, and applied an ointment and an adhesive bandage after it was all said and done. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to remove tattoos; they are professional, certified, trained and experienced in the tattoo removal process. read more

I give a 5 rating on the professional and clean environment. I give a 3 rating on the results and procedure. I had 1 treatment 8 weeks ago and not noticeably lighter. My tattoo will take 8-9 treatments so I did not expect to see much difference. The pain was not bad at all. I thought getting the initial tattoos were more painful. read more

Very clean, sterile environment. I was really nervous about the pain of the laser but they did a test area first (after numbing the area) and it wasn't bad at all! Getting a tattoo is way worse! I should've written this post a long time ago. Shelley at Ink B Gone is amazing! When I originally went in I was quoted $250 per treatment for my arm band which was a bit high for me. I found a Groupon for another place for $10, so my second treatment was with another company. That experience was extremely unpleasant. Not only did the man seem like he was on meth or something, I got the feeling that he and his secretary were having a secret love affair (they may have been married for all I know, but the energy was super awkward...) They quoted me $150 per treatment but because I didn't want to be apart of a weird love triangle and because they weren't open on the weekends, I decided to contact Shelley to see if she would match their pricing. She agreed! It was a life saver for me and allowed me to continue my treatments with someone that I liked and trusted. Shelley has been really great every time I've gone in. I just had my last treatment the other day so I felt like I probably should write a review. I highly recommend Ink B Gone. read more
