The best part is that I am a person of color and they have the YAG laser that is for anyone with more melonin in their complextion. Mara is my tech and she is wonderful. She listens to the concerns that I have when I come back for my next appointments and makes sure to address them. I have since done a complete Brazilian and underams and I have to say that I am in love with all the results. Best way to be hairless and beautiful. One thing I like about DLS is that you can pay as you go and just pay per session instead of having to buy a package that is going to cost you thousands upon thousands of dollars. The treatment was thorough and she took her time, checking in frequently to see how I was doing, since it can be somewhat painful in certain areas. I got the TCA peel yesterday and so far, my experience with DLS has been great! The front desk greeted me as I walked in and explained the forms to me. The front office is cute! Taylor did my service and I really enjoyed her. She's very knowledgable and super friendly. She walked me through the steps as she was doing them and told me what she was looking for. I'll definitely be back to see her again. The whole process from walking through the door to leaving was only 30 mins! I will warn you that it is a little tricky to find. You have to go in through Denver Athletic Club and take the elevator to the roof and you'll find it tucked away in the corner. I've been coming to DLS for over a year now, and have gotten a bunch of different services. Laser scar removal, botox, filler, and facials. Not everything has the extreme outcomes you may hope for, so I didn't stick to everything. Botox is one I love, and although mine fades faster than other people, DLS has been great with working with me to perfect my dosage and have it continue to be as impactful as it should be! Scar removal is one I would likely not do again, but everyone's body is different!! Above and beyond the services themselves, and what might be best for YOU.... DLS is just incredibly nice and professional. Every single person that works there is helpful, friendly, and makes the entire experience positive. I never have problems communicating with them (over phone, via email, text, you name it!) or scheduling appointments. They keep track of my points and historical purchases and funds I've accumulated. Everything is organized. They also have never "pushed" services on me, but respect budget and the initial reasons behind the visit. I honestly can't speak to if their prices are competitive, and again, every person's body reacts to services differently (so scar removal for you may be more successful than for me) ...but when it comes to the stuff fully in their control, they just knock it out of the park. I got the co2 treatment for acne scars on Saturday (it is now Wednesday). Things seem like they are healing up pretty well. I'm still pretty red and slightly swollen, and may need another treatment to hit an area of scars that were deep. I had used this lightener cream for three weeks before hand and I'm just keeping up with the vinegar soaks twice a day for 10-15 minutes and then applying Vaseline throughout the day. I sleep with a clean towel on my pillow in case I roll around. I haven't had terrible itching either. The worst of it was day 2 just because I was so swollen. Here's an update on my face with before and after shots taken in the same spot (just different phones) so the lighting is the same, but the quality not so much. read more

They have a consultative approach, it's not about a script and how much they sell at a time which is refreshing. There are monthly and annual deals and promos to take advantage of as well. They dont cost the most and they aren't least but you know that what you're paying for is safe and done well...and the results are 1000% worth the price paid! read more

I had an eyebrow wax appointment with Tiffany yesterday. The building is easy enough to find. It's the one with the dark red awning that says "1325 Glenarm Place" on it. Once inside, I asked the receptionist how to get to Denver Laser Solutions. She said to go past the lobby, past the brown couches, and I would find elevators. Great! I get into the elevator past the brown couches... there is no button for the sixth floor, even though my confirmation email from Denver Laser Solutions clearly said, "Denver Laser Solutions is located inside The Denver Athletic Club on the 6th floor at 1325 Glenarm Place in Denver." I mention this in case anyone reading this review is an awkward anxious mess like I am. Maybe give yourself ample time before your appointment to panic about the elevator not having enough buttons. Luckily, I called Denver Laser and a friendly front desk admin answered immediately. She offered to go find me, and she stayed on the phone with me until we found each other, which was so great. She definitely didn't have to do that, but I appreciated it so much! Denver Laser's reception area is well-lit and smells lovely. I immediately felt better once in the reception area. I did think it was weird that they had me fill out an intake form even though I was just there for an eyebrow wax, like, can't a girl go get her unibrow tamed without being asked if she's pregnant/nursing/on birth control? Tiffany was great. She asked me all about my skin. "Do you tend to break out after you get your eyebrows waxed? Are you using any harsh acne products on your skin?" Girl, I just moved here from California and my skin is the absolute worst combination of so-dry-it's-falling-off-my-face-in-chunks and also somehow still acne prone. There is nothing you can do to it that will make it worse. However, I did appreciate that she took the time to ask all these questions. And the best part: unlike when I get my brows waxed at the nail salon, she didn't ask me, "Upper lip too?" So honestly just for that she gets 5 stars. The other thing I really appreciated was that she didn't try to sell me any facials or laser treatments, even though my skin is looking ROUGH. And she left my brows looking amazing! I have been here for several services. Started with a consult, then an eyebrow and eyelash tint, and recently an Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Photofacial. Although an expensive treatment I was thrilled to correct my rosacea and prevent future sun damage. The first time they put numbing cream on my face and treated it whole. To my surprise and delight at the 2 week follow-up they went over sections complimentary which really evened the tone. All services have been amazing and I continue to go! The only downside is the location attached to the Denver Athletic Club... so parking and locating it, if not a member, is a little tricky at first. read more

I love Denver Laser Solutions! I was in Denver for a conference this past weekend and thought that it might be time to get rid of my RBF (resting B face) once and for all! I'm from California, so I was really hoping to be seen today before my flight back to CA! I called DLS and René was nice enough to squeeze me in within the hour. Once I got there, René took care of the paperwork, and then the lovely Sara took me back. I explained that it was my first time doing Botox and Sara was so informative and patient with my million questions. She ended up giving me 20 units, and made sure that I wouldn't end up with Spock eyebrows, especially since I couldn't come back to a 2 weeks follow-up. It's been just over 3 days since I've gotten it done, and I can see noticeable improvement in my glabella lines, and my boyfriend has even commented that I look happier and more relaxed! I can't wait to see the 2-weeks results! I highly, highly recommend this place and I would love to come back the next time I visit Denver! read more

Currently, my face, in three spots, is ruined due to the laser treatment I was talked into receiving over the microneedling I had originally purchased. Five weeks after the treatement I have hyperpigmentation from the laser and, now, redness all over my face from the hydroquinone I was prescribed to lighten the hyperpigmentation. I haven't been able to be in the sun, go on a date, or really want to socialize in general due to having to wait out my skin to hopefully correct all of this on its own (it was supposed to be a 4-6 day recover time). The staff is working with me now to try and fix all of this. I'm posting this review here just to keep the process of getting this fixed honest while also cautioning others to avoid DLS's laser services. I don't know that they really have their stuff together enough, as a company and as technicians, to be trusted with pointing powerful lasers at patients' faces. If this doesn't resolve in the coming weeks I will post before and after photos here for all to see what was done. I'm at all loss, there's nothing I can do and the insane aftermath of their laser treatment is basically ruining my ability to leave the house. Just a total disaster, I'm living the nightmare scenario all people have in the back of their heads before going in for laser treatment..."why should I trust these people and what if they make everything worse?" --- Update 2/5/2020 It's been about three and a half months and there's still quite a bit of hyperpigmentation, thought it has reduced slightly (maybe 40%). DLS did pay for a dermatologist appointment, but they haven't paid for the $300 cream the dermatologist prescribed to me as of yet. The cream itself hasn't worked overly well and just turns my face very red after light use for a few days. I mentioned that a few weeks ago and didn't really get a response, which makes me think DLS is out of ideas and in "hope and pray time will resolve this" mode. At this point all I can do is laugh. I never should have let them talk me into anything and should have trusted my gut, which at the time was screaming "you sure they know what they're doing in here?" the minute I walked across a roof to get to their suite. I'm trying to be cordial with them, but their flakey communication and general level of concern regawhat's going on has me at my wit's end. --- Update 6/21/2020 I'm getting several message from people asking me for an update, so here goes: Welp, it's been nine months. I've seen three different dermatologists and two other actual plastic surgeons and they're all telling me the same thing: "what were they thinking going straight to laser and not having you on a low dose hydroquinone treatment for at least three weeks before the surgery?" Apparently the proper way to perform laser is to first have your patient on 2% hydroquinone for several weeks before the treatment. They gave me 8% at one point (which is insanely strong) to try and lighten the scar, but when that turned my face red we agreed to discontinue use of it. Turns out they should have had me on probably 2% over my whole face for a few weeks and THEN went with the surgery because that significantly reduces the risk of hyperpigmentation. Jumping right to laser on a whim, as it turns out, sounds a lot like medical malpractice. Good news is roughly 80-90% of the hyperpigmentation has cleared up, but really only because I've been on and off all sorts of skin lighteners the last nine months to help with it. Long story short: it sure as heck wasn't 4-6 days for me to recover, more like nine months and counting. It makes me sad to write these reviews because I don't want to not like these folks as people, but when the reality is they never took proper care leading up to the treatment, it's hard not to want to warn others about what they may be getting into. Please, please do your research and only have work done by people with the proper credentials. Learn from my mistake. read more

The Botox immediately helped me look younger. I went back and had Juliette do filler around my nasal labial folds and my marionette lines. WOWZA! What great work. I've been coming to Denver Laser Solutions for several years and they consistently go above and beyond 5 stars! I started coming here for laser hair removal and they are always exceptionally competent and make sure they treat an area thoroughly. I also go here for fairly simple Botox between my eyebrows and they do just as good of a job using the same dosage as what I've had done with a medical doctor that specializes in injections. The thing that makes this place one the best in Denver is they actually listen to clients on customizing their needs whether it's using ultrasound gel to keep my skin calm during laser treatment or adding an extra unit or two of Botox to get a uniform, long-lasting result. I have only had 2 of my 6 laser hair removal sessions and it's already completely changed my life! I jumped right in and signed up for full legs and armpits. Since being treated I have gone from having to shave almost daily to only shaving about once every 2 weeks. I wish I had done this sooner! Thank you!!! ------------------- It took nearly two weeks for me to make up my mind to write this review, as I wanted to ensure that it wouldn't be written in a state of tizzy. I first went to DLS on Sep 11th. As an Asian woman who has relatively little hair to begin with, I have already received laser hair removal treatments more than 10+ times in Boulder until recently. Moving out of Boulder challenged me to find a new place where I can continue my treatment on a sporadic, as-needed basis. In Boulder, I used to pay $50 per visit for the treated areas (Brazilian, Axillae, Glabella and upper lip), due to the fact that I have continuously received it multiple times in the last few years, hence the treatment was a breeze, typically taking 20 minutes to wrap up. Prior to my appointment, I had a lengthy conversation with the receptionist/consultant about my needs and history (of already having a lot of treatments elsewhere), and she suggested that I sign up for a 3 session package to treat the areas with 10% discount at $375. I opted in and that's when and where the bud of miscommunication was sown. $125 per session was still steeper than what I used to pay in Boulder, but I figured that it was reasonable enough to go along with it. My first appointment went swimmingly with Juliette for about 40 minutes; she took her time to target every area with great precision & meticulousness without losing a sense of humour and friendliness. Everything was beyond pleasant and I walked out of the clinic totally psyched to have found another awesome local business. Time flew by and I decided to go in for the second session on Nov 8th. There was barely no hair from optical standpoint in my armpit, upper lip and the area between the forehead and eyebrows, but an upcoming trip in December convinced me to be proactive. I should have noticed that something was iffy when I went in and a different technician told me that she couldn't find my package details in my file. Now I fully take my partial responsibility in not double confirming everything laid out in my believed package before I actually started treatment. The technician was a little abrupt and terse in her manners to the point that she sounded mechanical; for example, she would just stay in while I was changing (in most cases, people step outside and give you some time). I just brushed it off and not to make a big deal out of it. The whole treatment took 10 minutes-- max 15. We're talking about four different areas; You can tell how little hair I had to begin with. I came out and she told me that I need to pay another $375. At first I thought that perhaps a portion of the records went missing, but apparently, from the DLS' point of view, what the previous receptionist/consultant in my first appointment indicated was that treating all those areas, no matter how little maintenance treatment required, would amount to $375 per session, not for 3 sessions. Obviously, my jaw dropped-- unless you are truly loaded with inheritance money or what-not, who on earth would casually drop $375 for a 10-minute hair removal treatment that's not even permanent? I honestly didn't want to taint 5 stars that they have received and surely deserved in most cases. If the second technician I dealt with and the other lady at the reception took their time to truly understand where the root of misunderstanding came from and to remedy it, I wouldn't have gone so far to leave this review. However, they were visibly uncomfortable and had no interest in resolving the issue & empathizing with a confused client. I have the second technician's name and gave it a long thought whether to disclose here, and I decide not to, because she may be an excellent technician otherwise and deserves a second chance. I would have given one star if it had not been warm manners of Juliette during the first appointment. Had I known it would cost another $375, I'd have gladly paid for late cancellation fee and walked out there and then. Please take this review seriously, do an reappraisal of your pricing for clients who have already received many in the past, and retrain your staff for better and effective communication. read more

I have been coming to Denver Laser Solutions for laser stretch mark reduction for a few years now. I've always had a relatively good experience up until recently. It had been about a year since my last session when I decided to go in for another treatment. I called and made an appointment to treat the same areas I had always done (i.e. arms, hips and thighs) and they confirmed my appointment beforehand. When I went in for my appointment, I was assigned to Allie ,whom I had never been assigned to before. She took me back to the room for my appointment and then informed me there would not be enough time to treat all the areas. She gave me a choice of either arms and hips or thighs to treat that day. When I asked why all the sections couldn't be treated at once (which is what I had normally done when I came in) she told me I was only booked for a certain amount of time. I told her to treat my arms and hips and she proceeded to apply the lidocaine cream to those areas. After I was numbed up, she came back and performed the service. When she was done, I looked over the areas and noticed a section on one of my arms that she seemed to miss. I asked her if she treated the area and she stated "yes." When I went to the front to pay, I was informed of a higher price than what I had normally paid in the past. I asked about the discrepancy and I was told the price had gone up and I'd have to pay the new price. Annoyed by the lack of communication (i.e. change in price and not informing me I wasn't booked enough time to complete all sections in advance) I paid and left. When I got home I looked at the treated sections closer and noticed the area on my arm I had pointed out to Allie, as well as another area on my other arm, appeared to have not been treated. I called the office to inform them and was told to send pictures of the areas of concern so they can be further assessed and reviewed with Allie. After doing so, I was informed that Allie stated she did treat the area and the "erythema" or redness , indicated it indeed was treated. I informed them the redness was probably from the lidocaine ointment and that it was not swelling up like the other treated areas. I was then booked a follow up appointment to have the areas reassessed. Over the next few days, I also noticed various parts of my hips that had not been treated. When I went in for my follow up appointment, I was once again assigned to Allie and pointed out the various missed areas on my arms and hips. She then admitted she DID NOT treat the area on my arm because she was worried about the redness. Which I found interesting considering she insisted she treated it when I had sent over the pics. She then marked all the missed areas on my arms and hips with a pencil and after doing so, told me we would not have time to do the lidocaine cream. Instead, she provided A BAG OF ICE I could use to help with numbing the pain. In all the times I have received this treatment, I've NEVER been lasered without lidocaine cream. The procedure itself is painful so I was shocked that I was provided with a bag of ice as a replacement and once again was informed last minute. It seemed very barbaric, inhumane, and careless. I also don't understand why enough time was not allotted so the pain cream could have been applied knowing I was coming in to have the procedure completed. It seems as if the professionalism and quality of services has gone downhill. Between the inadequate amount of time booked so not all sections could have been treated, the last minute notification of the price increase, and the careless/sloppy work that was provided, I was completely turned off. Staff needs to be better trained and should have better customer service skills. I'm disappointed because I have been coming to this place for quite some time and it's conveniently located by me but after this experience, I will not be returning. read more

This place is beyond amazing. I love all the ladies here. It is a professional and highly certified place, not just your average laser place working under a doctor's license. They are completely certified and have great experience and judgement. I don't mean to sound corny, but they have truly changed my life! They have given me my confidence back. The CO2 fraxel laser is what I do, and they also give you an amazing cream and numbing cream as well to use before sessions. They also do ultherapy, which is something you should usually be careful with, but they are the most trustworthy people to do the job! Amazing work. I was referred to Denver Laser Solutions from a friend who went in and saw Tiffany for laser hair removal. I scheduled my appointment for Nicole however, and I'll say she's great. Its a small operation, cozy, and welcoming. Nicole is personable and has a great attitude. The machine that they use is a far cry better than any of the other types of machines I've had used on me.
