The location is in a nondescript medical building but as soon as we walked in felt very comfortable and relaxed. We met Lonnie, the owner, and she is very personable. The technician that checked us in was Lori, and we just love her personality--so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! We're very happy that she was also going to be the one doing our procedure. She explained everything very thoroughly and answered all our questions. The procedure only took about 15 minutes, and wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. Really excited about the results and already purchased a few of the cavitation lipo procedures at a discounted price. They have awesome specials. Plenty of parking and they have WiFi. I went in for spider vein treatment. FACILITY LOCATION: it is definately tucked away. And yes, the locks and security doors are a bit umm...intimidating -- but my review is not based on the location - so 'nough there. TECHNICIAN/ EXPERIENCE: Not only could she not remember how to turn the laser machine on.... ( first red flag), the machine started to act funny and she was not sure how to handle it ( second red flag). After lasering one of my legs, the machine stops working altogether. We had to move to a new room - and I was provided with a small towel to shield my body as I maneuvered through the hallway( ???) Once in the new room, she dialed the machine up to the same strength as the machine from the previous room...... you know, the one that was not working properly ...(red flag 3 ). I woke up with BLISTERED legs, in the shape of the laser wand. I had been burned by the laser treatment. This is an elementary mistake. I am writing this review over 6 weeks after my initial teatment. Not only did my spider vein treatment have ZERO effect on the veins - but I also have scar marks on my legs in the shape of the laser head . NOTE: I did call the salon and spoke of my experience - to which I was offered an opportunity to go back to their office so they could get pictures for education purposes; which I politely declined. read more

SCARY Experience. BUYER BEWARE. NO MEDICAL DOCTOR ON SITE. I purchased a special deal with them too. A laser facial treatment. I had a horrible and medical scary experienceto what they did . I thought they had ruined my eyesight after working on my face. THERE WAS NO DOcTOR ON SITE, as I understsand is required by law for these medical-type procedures they were doing. I had to leave , call someone to drive me to a doctor. Oh, and the treatment did nothing for my skin a good facial and vitamins don't do. Their 'doctor' was someone they called by phone remotely and was not there or available even at the time to come see or examine or treat me. Being trained to use a powerful machine is NOT the same as knowing what you are doing medically to a person's body with that machine and how to avoid damaging someone's eyesight or other bodily function/organ. Certainly not having the staff on site to handle such things is risky business for them. Oh, and they initially refused to pay for the eyedoctor I needed to go see since they had no one there, adding the stress and angst of the emergency. They did offer to pay for a cab for me to get home!! Are you kidding? REally? that's how you handle this...oh, and what happens to my car in the parking lot once I'm home? Today I received another Groupon from them in the inbox , this time soliciting for Spider Vein treatments. Sounded good, until I realized This was the same Place!!! Aspiring Laser Destruction...I mean renewal. I couldn't run away fast enough from that buy button and realizing that they are still soliciting people, thought people should know about my experience. I see here on YELP that it seems that they repeatedly run deals on on mutliple daily-deals websites/companies. No surprise to me that this is the only way they can incite business!!! Evidently, not enough first-timers return or refer them to friends. NO WAY would I risk my body to these women again. These are medical treatments that need to be handled by medically trained or knowledge people and with what they are doing, should have a medical doctor on site when patients are being treated. read more

I had a fractional CO2 laser face treatment on 9/9/11. I was very nervous going into this!! I was given some topical numbing cream, and there was no pain with the procedure. Just some light stinging. I was given very detailed after care instructions, what to expect (side effects & recovery), and told that the downtime would be about 4 days. The first night I had some slight discomfort; it's hard to sleep with your head elevated, and on your back! The next day I had slight swelling, and some redness, and a few red/brown spots. Looked like a sunburn. By the second day, I was already starting to peel off the dead skin. By the 4th day, I was still peeling a little, but looking great. I didn't experience much downtime (one day?), my skin healed quickly. As each day goes by, my skin looks more amazing. I don't remember my skin ever feeling this soft, and it looks so fresh, and even tone. My skin looks pretty without make up. I highly recommend this procedure, and Aspiring Laser Renewal is the place to have it done. read more

I bought a living social coupon for services here. When I first went, the business was just getting started. Over the course of 2 yrs, the decor has evolved as well as the range of services. Getting an appointment is not as easy now that so many people are vying for Lonnie's time. I find it worth the wait. My appointments were for hair removal. I researched it a lot and found out that the hair will be LESSENED. You can't make the hair on your body all grow at the exact right time for the laser to work. Knowing this I was prepared to have a LOT of treatments. With Lonnie doing such a great job, it only took 3 treatments to make 90% of the hair stop growing. The spots that still have a bit of hair, well, I shave those one every week or two. The laser seems to have slowed the regrowth. I also had an IPL facial to help repair some scarring on my cheek. 2 facials and the 6 inch by 3 inch purple mark has faded to the point I feel confident enough to go without makeup. Lastly....I highly recommend the treatment that sculpts your body with heat and radio waves. It was great! Back of thighs are much smoother! These treatments are expensive, no question! However, if you sign up for their newsletter, they have great monthly deals. They help ease the financial pain. If I could afford to I would be in there at least once a week to enjoy the treatments they have. read more

I found a GREAT deal on Spaenvy.com for Dysport Injections. It took 3 calls (+ an email) to get an initial appointment set. Appointment was set for 2 weeks out. 2 days before the appointment, they called to cancel and reschedule... ok, fine. Another week goes by, I walk in at 11am today for an appointment only to meet with a kind but apologetic employee that tells me that there's not even anyone available to do injections today. Did they not look at the schedule yesterday, or even this morning? Why schedule patients, but no doc? I'm now out 2 hours of my life, more than $100, + 6 gallons of gas... and no dysport. MAYBE if I show up on Wednesday there will be SOMEONE there to do the services that I've already paid for. If not, my next call is to the BBB! read more

The decor of the office was tasteful, but certainly not a comforting spa environment. I was not impressed with the old towels, equipment and marks on the walls. It felt dirty to me. She wants to make her treatments affordable for the non-celebrities among us. A month ago I tried the HIFU tightening on my neck, and the results are amazing! I first came to this shop with a coupon, and have continued to come back. Lonnie is such a loving open spirit, and the place is laid back, warm and comfortable. Two words....Cavitation Lipo! Over time and with several surgeries, I became very sedentary. Fat pockets built up, and tho I tried walking biking, dancing, I couldn't bring down the volume of fatty pockets. I couldn't fit into my pants anymore. Cavitation lipo has made a big difference for me. It gives an almost immediate reduction in the dimensions of the fatty areas. Bait and switch! Buyer beware. I purchased a Groupon for ultherapy, the ad explains for face area. But this is really for top half of face, they will go over when you call for appointment. I did call Groupon they got me in touch with manager. She claims they don't specify what part of the face, so what is the issue she says? I mentioned she was misleading her clients and then she blames Groupon for what they wrote. I mentioned it was her duty to clarify and make sure Groupon makes it clear in an ad that represents her business. She didn't think it was important, what does she care they have sold +100. What Kathi is GREAT at: photofacials / IPL Not so good at laser hair removal I've had three or four here and four other places in Denver and Aspiring is hands down the best. My first IPL completely got rid of a dark age mark, the second one made my skin look more clear. My most recent was a bit too much and I blistered because Kathi went over a spot twice, but again, she gives you your money's worth in IPL. I don't like Aspiring for laser hair removal. As effective as the IPL was, my laser hair removal was not. After six sessions, I have little change. I've had better results from two sessions other places than from the six at Aspiring. Their laser sessions are WAY too short, one of my sessions lasted only 12 minutes and had no effect. I've had laser done at two other places in Denver and the same appointment lasted three times longer, with more thoroughness, and much better results. Would not recommend for laser hair removal. Would absolutely recommend for photofacials. read more
