I've tried multiple different laser hair removal places and thought they were all the same -- a laser is a laser, right? wrong. this is the only one I've gone to that isn't unbearably painful, and the results are good. they have "clubs" that you can join, which gives you a discounted price per treatment for a year. staff is friendly and professional. they also have a referral bonus if you refer someone who becomes a client. read more

Went there for a year or so for hair removal. Over 10 treatments, rarely with the same person twice. The after effects are that I have patchy hair growth. I have been to this business in the past but never again. When you purchase a service they will tell you that it never expires. But then when you try to use it in the future they will tell you that either you've already used it (and forge your records to try and prove it to you) or they will give you half of what you purchased and make you think you're getting all of it. Smooth Skin Centers is a great place to get laser hair removal. I first bought a Groupon for $500/6 sessions: legs, brazilian and arm pit. At first I was a little irritated that they never answered the phone so it was quite impossible to set up my first appointment. Since then they've gotten great about answering the phone. I attribute it to the high volume of phone calls they might have received right after the Groupon deal or a bad worker not answering phones. My first appointment was great. The laser technician was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Since then, every appointment has been a positive experience. As for the laser hair removal part, the results have been great! I've had six sessions and I shave my legs once every three weeks. I even purchased the additional 3 sessions to make it a total of 10 which is supposed to get me to total hair removal. Please note that I have dark hair and laser hair removal does work best on dark, thicker hair. I've been going to Smooth Skin Centers on and off since they opened for spider vein erasing and, in the beginning, Botox. But after a droopy eye from the Botox, I found someone else with more experience.. I've had the veins on my face and the back of my legs done. I also buy skincare products there regularly. The first couple times I did the vein treatments a few years ago, it worked great. A huge spider vein on the back of my leg was finally gone. Recently, I went two times for spider veins on my face. The first time, the tech was running behind and we got started ten minutes late and she hurried thru the procedure and said "all done" without giving me a chance to really look to make sure she got all of them. Well most of them didn't go away so I went back for the second treatment. This tech seemed newer and less experienced (although more thorough), having to get another person there to look and ask questions. Additionally, an inordinate amount of time was spent recalibrating the laser. Several weeks later most of the veins are still there so I called back to see what their policy was and was told by a guy that it's most likely "biology" as to why they didn't go away and I could come in for a consultation but if more treatment was needed, I'd have to pay for it. Seriously? If I hadn't had the treatments before and saw them work just fine, maybe I'd believe the "it's your biology" crap:, but I do know differently. It could be a hurried tech, an old laser machine (it's the same one they've had for years), an inexperienced tech, incorrect settings on the laser, I'm not sure, but I do know it's not my biology otherwise why did it work enough before to bring me back for more treatments? If you refuse to stand behind your treatments, that is just poor business practice, plain and simple. Maybe other treatments go fine, but if they don't I wouldn't expect much in the way of them doing the right thing when it's just as easy to blame your "biology" and get you to pay even MORE money for nothing. read more

I've been here with a Groupon for a Brazilian a couple of times. The technicians are very competent and they do a very thorough job (if you get my drift). I had previously used Simplicity Laser and I think the techs at Smooth Skin Center do a way better job and are more thorough. I see much less hair growth after sessions with them than I did with Simplicity. Another comparison to Simplicity is the laser they use. I don't know what it's called but it's way less painful in sensitive areas than Simplicity's and that's a big plus in my book! I'm also impressed that they can get me in pretty much any time I need to (scheduling 6 weeks out of course). I'm looking forward to doing more treatments for other hairy areas. read more

Then I started getting nasty emails from the owner saying I owed money from 9 months ago. Which I didn't I showed them my bank statements and they said I was all paid up. But the owner kept emailing me. Plus I had purchased services in the mean time so why was this not brought up sooner? I think they are trying to run a scam and get as much money as possible. The only reason they're getting a 1 is because I can't give them a 0. This is the worst and the most unprofessional place I have ever received my services. They change their policies anytime they please and start charging you extra for no good reason. Their owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. The staff is like robots and have very little training in customer services. I was their customer for several months and paid for several services. One day without explaining, they had me sign a contract that we'll be charged for services without getting any if we're late 10 minutes. They knew due to my work hours I can only receive treatments at certain hours in the evening which were mostly during rush hours. They showed no customer courtesy or provided any accommodations for my schedule and cancelled on me when I was only 9 minutes late and charged me extra $150 and told me I will not continue to receive any services I have already paid for until I pay that $150. This I felt was extremely unfair. I can understand someone missing an appointment and getting charged for it but this I felt was unfair. They have no professional etiquettes and are there to make money. They have no sense how to satisfy their customers, show any courtesy or accommodate schedules. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's better to spend a little extra and gain better customer service and keep your dignity. I highly recommend this place for removing unwanted hair, brown spots and even tattoos. I am currently removing a tattoo from my arm and I could not be more happy with how they take care of me, make me feel comfortable by offering coffee or something to drink as well as numbing medication. I like this place because of the pricing. I first came here with a coupon, but once I was on their email list, I could get very similar pricing for other packages. I love their "garage sales" and holiday sales-- I know to keep an eye out for those now. There are a lot of techs, and unless you specify that you want the same one, you will probably get a different tech every appointment. They don't provide ice, but the laser "zaps" a sold shot of cold air with every pulse. I've had my legs and my lip done, and it wasn't painful. I'm a little hesitant about getting more sensitive areas done, though-- I don't think the shot of cold air would be enough. They definitely don't "skimp" on lip area-- they do the entire area, including very close under the nose and along the outline of the lips (using a Popsicle stick to protect the lips) including the lower lip if you need it. This is helpful for me, because I went to one place where they did two zaps on either side and were finished-- if I kept going back to that place I would have probably been growing back a blonde Hitler mustache for the area under my nose! read more

I love this place...I'm fair skinned and covered in freckles. Was totally nervous my first time getting brown spot removal, and Pat talked me through the whole process and really took time to calm my nerves. I received great after-care advice, an application of healing ointment after the treatment AND a follow-up call from Pat himself! I am so pleased with the results, and will continue to see Pat. I did join the "club" so my treatments are at a fixed rate - and so much cheaper than anything else around in Greenwood Village. True this isn't a high-end luxurious spa, but I am totally pleased with the effectiveness of the treatment. This has been my first experience with Laser hair removal and I am happy that I ended up choosing Smooth Skin Care Centers. I came in because I got a Groupon and I used it for 6 sessions. The first time I came in it was a bit uncomfortable, I didn't really know the protocol but the treatment only lasted about 15 minutes and the technician was nice and took the time to explain the process. After the first time I believe that they had a turnover because all the technicians were new but they were very nice and made me feel very comfortable and since that first time I have had the same technician every time. I have my last session this week and I have been very impressed with the results and I will be purchasing another package. The best news is this isn't the kind of place where you get 1 Groupon and then the prices skyrocket, they are constantly sending out emails with deals on packages for their current customers not just new ones!! I was pleased with the service but I wish they would have honored the membership terms/prices of the old program for customers who have existing memberships (until they expire) instead of forcing them to either enrolling into new auto monthly membership charge or paying higher prices for services. I purchased the annual membership late last year and had barely used 2 services at the member's pricing when the new program started. Price has gone up significantly for members who have declined entering into the new program. They tried to use the "credit the balance of existing membership towards monthly charge" strategy but what if the customers have no desire/need to have frequent treatments (?). Membership is a contract. If you want to change the terms of the contracts, you can do so to new contracts but not to the existing contracts; you need to honor the existing terms if the customers decide new terms don't work for them. read more
