I came here to try their laser facial. It's marketed as a "15 minute, no downtime, non-invasive treatment designed to improve overall skin health by stimulating collagen, boosting skin cell turnover, and treating concerns like acne, redness, acne scars, fullness, fine lines and hyperpigmentation." They were lofty promises to do so much but I saw zero changes to my skin after. I had a consultation before my appointment where they went over my skincare regimen, tried to sell me skincare products, then went to the laser. Since I already take great care of my skin and have a comprehensive skincare regimen, they said I may not see much results with my first laser treatment, then spent the rest of my consultation trying to upsell me on a different laser package where I'm told I would see results with those pricier lasers. Overall, everyone was nice and welcoming, but it felt like I was constantly being pressured to purchase something. If I left with any improvements in my skin like my skin tone, or hyperpigmentation I would have still been satisfied with my visit, but the fact that I didn't see any improvements in my skin whatsoever, I felt like everyone wasted their time, including myself, and I was out $100. I saw better results with other skin treatments like a hydrafacial that were similar in price and saw immediate results. read more

Skin Laundry staff was very kind and professional, but unfortunately the treatments did not work at all. In looking at other Yelp reviews, I agree that it is a total scam. After three months, my daughter's acne actually became worse. They repeatedly gave us encouragement that we would see a big change after the first month. Each month they would push that back and have a different excuse. At our last treatment today (3 month in), we were informed that it takes "4 to 6 months to see results". I do appreciate that they allowed us to end our four-month contract early but plan to pursue some reimbursement. read more

I think I found my forever facial place, finally! After leaning about the new client intro offer at the price of $75 on a social media site, I booked my first treatment with them without any hesitation. I'm so glad I did. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a lady with a very peppy voice. And that was none other than Nancy. After being asked to complete a few forms (paper and tablet ones) she took me to the little back room to take some photos of my face. She then took me to this little room so she and I could sit down and talk more as to what this signature laser facial would entail. She didn't rush the process. Once the consultation was complete, she finally introduced me to my esthetician, Savanah G. Savanah then took me to the treatment room. In the treatment room, I was again allowed to have an opportunity to ask questions and concerns once more before the procedure began. This level of meticulous preparation time to ensure there weren't any more questions or concerns between us was top notch. I was absolutely comfortable and ready to go with the procedure. The laser treatment itself was about 10 minutes. Although the treatment device uses heat so it would penetrate the skin to go deeper into a certain layer of the skin, I was told (both by Nancy and Savanah) that there would be no downtime. It felt a bit hot so I asked Savanah to lower the heat temperature. She was accommodating to my needs which made me at ease. Once the treatment was done, she took me back to the front so Nancy would walk me through the treatment plan/membership. Nancy wasn't pushy about me committing to any of it right at that moment. She said to just let her know which one of the plans or membership types I would like after a few days or so. Just to put it out for people to know, this place offers fairly reasonable options which kind of surprised me. I think I'll sign up for the one Nancy said it'd most fit my goals and intent. By the way (before I finish this review), this place is very clean. Nobody would want to walk into a dirty facial spas, right? Some do experience immediate results; it takes a few treatments before some actually start seeing results. What I noticed (after my first treatment) was the ultra smoothness of my skin. It was definitely firm and tighter so for me, I felt and saw some degree of immediate effects. This pretty much convinced me that getting me a membership at this facial place is a must to maintain my aging skin. read more

I want to start by saying how wonderful my experience has been with Alex, the esthetician who did my treatments during my time with Skin Laundry. Alex is a truly beautiful human -- incredibly kind, warm, and knowledgeable. During each appointment I felt that he genuinely cared about my comfort and my skin, and I always appreciated the time he took with me. As far as the treatments themselves, I did notice some improvement in my overall complexion -- my skin looks a bit more refreshed and less dull. However, I unfortunately did not see improvement in the specific concerns I initially sought treatment for (enlarged pores and congestion), which I was told these treatments would help address. I also wasn't a fan of the tipping culture. Being prompted to tip for a 10-15 minute treatment felt excessive to me, and it made me wonder whether estheticians are being compensated appropriately by the company. Additionally, for my most recent appointment, I arrived 6 minutes late after dropping my child off at school and was told I had to reschedule because they only allow a 3-minute grace period. That felt a bit rigid, especially since most aesthetic clinics I've visited allow at least 10 minutes. I've also consistently been on time or early to my other appointments. Between that experience and feeling some pressure around upselling, I ultimately decided I will be cancelling my membership once I hit the four month commitment mark. I share this simply so others can make an informed decision. That said, if you do book here, Alex is wonderful and I'm very grateful for the care he showed during my visits. read more

I have been going to Skin Laundry Park Meadows for more than 2 years and spending $2500 every year. I was late 5 min due to road closures . They canceled and refused to accommodate me . I have waited. for more than 5 min for my appointments certain days. It's disappointing to see customers not treated right . Unfortunately, i am canceling my membership. i think i will be spending that money some where else. It's not like my skin changed much anyway. read more

This place is a joke. They make a big production about taking your photos so you can compare before and after and then they lost my before photos. I made an appointment for a treatment and on the day of the appointment they tell me they aren't covered in my membership and I need to pay more. On top of that the person doing my treatments got this disgusting gel they slather all over in my eyes and my mouth! Totally disgusting! read more

I had an appointment which was canceled by skin laundry that morning. They rescheduled it for Saturday. On Saturday morning, they canceled it again. With each cancellation they made, I was sent a text saying I would be charged $25 for cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment. Both of the appointments they canceled and did so within just a few hours of the appointment. I was not offered any compensation. I am shocked that this business does not set the same expectation of themselves as they do their clients. read more

Where do I begin... when I began my face journey, they took a picture and then told me that we would review my before and after photos in six months. Every time I went, I would ask when I would start seeing improvements to which they said it takes at least six months to work from the inside out. Ps. That is how they keep you coming back. Anyway, I continued to see no improvement and at 6 mo. I asked to see pictures and they said let's wait I'm next month. I did and I asked for photos at my next visit. I said I feel like my skin is worse, and sure enough, the clinician said, "Wow, it is worse!" When I got home, my husband had even commented, "What did they do to you?" w I then called the manager and asked for my money back since my face had gotten worse. She said no but offered two more free treatments. Why would I want to do that!!!!! Anyway, my rosacea is worse, and I am an extremely dissatisfied customer. They should do the right thing and give me my money back. I spent over $1000 for my face to look worse. Do not go there.! read more

This place is a complete scam! They take your money and have a closed corporate office. Look them up and try calling 310-823-7484. Let me know if you think this is legitimate! When I called Skin Laundry at Park Meadows, they were completely clueless. They said the corporate office doesn't have a phone number! They offer a 10-minute procedure, but the last lady who did it was drunk! Nothing has improved my skin at all. Absolutely nothing! To top it off, they even changed the lasers or whatever they claim to use halfway through the procedure without the technician even being able to explain that it would suddenly become cold instead of hot. She didn't know what that meant or how to use the new equipment. Despite my complaints, they refuse to cancel my membership, even though I'm following up with the four-month scam they initially told me was a three-month ordeal. The first month was supposed to be 50% off, but then they charge you $200 each month for the 10-minute procedure from a drunk girl. I'm disputing this and reporting them. This is a joke! Here's another tip: try to cancel or reschedule an appointment, but you'll get through to no one! However, they will call you back when you're trying to cancel your membership. When I say cancel my membership, I'm willing to pay for the four months that was supposed to be three months. I'm not shorting them; I just want to make sure I'm not charged after that point, because it's impossible to cancel then. read more

I RAVED about this place at first, but recently the uppers decided to fire all of the knowledgeable and caring nurses to (I assume) do budgets cuts and hire people with less knowledge. These nurses built so much trust within this place and it meant nothing to corporate. Corporate is pushing more sales rather than looking out for the customers well being. Definitely turned into a pushy environment. The new staff may be great, but I will never return based off of all of the knowledge I have about management. Kaitlyn explained the entire process and made sure I was 100% comfortable before starting. She was very attentive during the laser process and ensured I was cool, calm and fully relaxed.
