"One of the finest legal corporate scams I've ever experienced!"…read more Turn around and run toward literally any other VoIP provider. Ignore reviews of those who've just signed up because we've been stuck with Spectrum VoIP for 3 years and time reveals the truth. I would never recommend SpectrumVoIP to another business. What should have been simple phone service turned into a 60-month commitment involving a third-party finance company, confusing contract terms, multiple departments giving conflicting explanations, missing historical documents, cancellation instructions we never requested, and countless hours of our employees' time just trying to understand what we signed up for and what it would cost to leave. The icing on the cake? Our phones repeatedly show "No Service" while we're still paying for them. We've spent weeks emailing Billing, Cancellation, Customer Service, and others just trying to get straight answers. At one point we were told documents were attached to an email--they weren't. I clicked the link to view our own support ticket and was told I didn't have access. Business phone service should make running your business easier. This has done the opposite. Save yourself the headache. Choose a month-to-month VoIP provider with transparent pricing and no long-term finance arrangement. I wish we had. Would give this company -5 stars if I could. The photo below would be an honest accurate advertisement from Spectrum VoIP....

Instead, they want to handle the complaint internally, so they ask "How can we improve"... Where you can improve? Firstly, getting a service that works consistently. Secondly, getting people to answer the phone to respond to calls of distress when the phones are not functioning instead of a "leave a message and we'll get back to you when we can". Getting timely answers instead of waiting without phone service during the work day - or any time there is ANY issue with the phone. Waiting is the death of sales, and our business needs sales to pay your service bill. The phone is the business lifeline. If I wanted to use my personal cell phone for a business line I would set it up that way. However, I want a land line that works consistently and a service provider that answers the phone when something is wrong. That is not what I get here.

They even have the wrong business name show up on our caller ID out. I have called and called and called, no one ever answers the phones, if you leave a voice mail they do not respond. I believe that this is the worst phone service that I have ever had, no customer support, no communication, no working equipment. Trust me, stay away.

I noticed my bill went up $15.00 and reached out to Frontier and spoke with Tanasha. She was so wonderful and I had such a great customer service experience with her. 1/5 -- Extremely frustrating experience…read more My Frontier internet went down around 1 PM and has now been out for over 9 hours. I work from home, so this outage caused me to lose 4 hours of PTO and I may now have to drive into the office tomorrow because my service still isn't working. What makes this even more frustrating is the complete lack of accurate communication. I tried contacting support and waited forever without getting connected to anyone. I also tried their outage text service and received no useful response. Then, when I finally got Frontier's online outage checker to work, it told me "Outage resolved in your area" with a resolution time of 12:00 AM on August 20 -- even though my internet didn't go out until approximately 1 PM on August 20 and it is STILL not working. I understand that outages happen. What I don't understand is leaving customers without service for hours while providing inaccurate information and making it incredibly difficult to get an actual update or speak with someone. For a service that people rely on to work from home, this has been incredibly disappointing. Frontier needs to do a much better job communicating with customers during outages and providing accurate restoration information.
