I was told that I don't need an appointment and to just stop by the following day. I asked what time they opened and the male front desk clerk proceeds to inform me that they opened at 11am. Fast forward to the following day, when I arrived he proceeds to tell me that they are unable to take me and that they are now booked, which is understandable because it happens. Then he proceeds to forcibly tell me that he told me to come early and repeats himself several times. I'm by no means an argumentative person so I asked ok, well do you have any availability later. He responds by repeating forcibly that he told me to come early, and he remembers me, completely forgetting that I had originally called to book an appointment but was encouraged not to. I felt embarrassed and like I, the customer was put in the position to de-escalate. Completely embarrassed and unnecessary way of handling the situation. I loved Chloe but will not be returning.

Today I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon, a place I've frequented for the…read morelast two years and where I've often spent hundreds of dollars at a time. I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and was assisted by a woman who is often at the front desk. Before we even started, I showed her a photo of my eyebrows from a previous appointment and explained that it was the exact look I wanted. Instead of listening, she immediately told me, "No, you don't want them too thin." That response caught me off guard because they are my eyebrows and the photo I showed her was literally a previous result that I was happy with. Rather than listening to my preferences, she repeatedly told me what she thought I wanted and seemed annoyed whenever I tried to explain otherwise. As I continued trying to communicate the look I was going for, she became visibly frustrated and said, "I'm going to find someone else for you." She then left the room, returned alone, and told me, "You know this is just waxing. This isn't permanent makeup." At that point, I was confused because I thought she was getting someone else who could better assist me. Instead, she expected me to continue the service after dismissing my concerns. When she told me to lay down, I declined. I went to the front, paid, and politely explained that I felt the situation was unacceptable. As a loyal customer who has supported this business , I expected basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I continued coming to this location was for Kim's pedicures anyways, which have always been great. However, based on today's experience, I can no longer recommend this salon. Customer service starts with listening to the customer, especially when they're clearly explaining what they want. Today, that simply did not happen.

My husband had a quick men's mani/pedi which left his hands and feet moisturized and clean. My pedicure was great, I did an aqua color which I enjoyed and then I originally asked for a chrome aqua color for my manicure as well, but changed my mind to get a chrome orange after she shaped my nails. Not sure if me changing my mind made my manicurist forget that I also wanted chrome, so after doing my complete set, I had to have another lady take all the color off and start again because the chrome was supposed to be the first layer. Had I realized this (I rarely get my nails done so I don't really know the process), I would have spoken up before she got so far along. The end result was still nice and I enjoyed chatting with both manicurists. A perk of this place was a complimentary drink as well (sodas, juices and a selection of alcohol) which was nice. The bathroom was clean and tidy as well. All in all, I enjoyed spending my birthday morning here getting pampered. Thank you!

While I was deciding between two colors and a cat-eye design, she sighed and told me I was taking too long, even though the salon wasn't busy. When I explained the design I wanted, she said she couldn't do it and kept saying it was a "freestyle" that "takes too long." I even showed her a photo of my previous set with the exact same magnetic cat-eye effect. I wasn't asking for a different technique, just for the magnetic effect to be centered on the nail instead of off to the side. She eventually did it perfectly, which showed she was capable of doing it all along. If it required extra time or an additional charge, I would've gladly paid it. I just didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. She also seemed rushed throughout the appointment. She nicked my cuticle a couple of times, and I had to ask her to paint the corners of my nails because she was leaving parts of the nail uncovered. The hand and arm massage was also disappointing. She massaged my right hand, then moved straight to my left hand without doing my right forearm. While she was switching sides, I took off my jacket so both arms would be accessible. She then massaged my left forearm but never went back to do the right one, even though it was uncovered. The finished nails are beautiful, and I do appreciate that. Unfortunately, customer service is a big part of the experience, and I left feeling like a burden instead of a valued customer.
