I came in for a simple eyebrow wax and was assisted by a woman who is often at the front desk. Before we even started, I showed her a photo of my eyebrows from a previous appointment and explained that it was the exact look I wanted. Instead of listening, she immediately told me, "No, you don't want them too thin." That response caught me off guard because they are my eyebrows and the photo I showed her was literally a previous result that I was happy with. Rather than listening to my preferences, she repeatedly told me what she thought I wanted and seemed annoyed whenever I tried to explain otherwise. As I continued trying to communicate the look I was going for, she became visibly frustrated and said, "I'm going to find someone else for you." She then left the room, returned alone, and told me, "You know this is just waxing. This isn't permanent makeup." At that point, I was confused because I thought she was getting someone else who could better assist me. Instead, she expected me to continue the service after dismissing my concerns. When she told me to lay down, I declined. I went to the front, paid, and politely explained that I felt the situation was unacceptable. As a loyal customer who has supported this business , I expected basic professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to take my business elsewhere. The only reason I continued coming to this location was for Kim's pedicures anyways, which have always been great. However, based on today's experience, I can no longer recommend this salon. Customer service starts with listening to the customer, especially when they're clearly explaining what they want. Today, that simply did not happen.

He asked me to choose a pedicure, and I selected the Pomelo Pedicure. He then directed me to a book to choose a color. Because the selection appeared limited, I asked whether those were the only colors available. He replied that they were the dip-powder colors, although I had never requested dip powder. After I clarified that I wanted regular polish, he directed me to another display. I was surprised to find several nearly empty or dried-out bottles, which made choosing a color difficult. I was then directed to a chair, where my technician noticed nail dust covering the seat and adjoining table from a previous service. She wiped the area with a towel before I sat down. My pedicure was okay, but it felt rushed and did not seem to include everything I remembered from the Pomelo Pedicure description. When I received my ticket at the end of my service, I realized I had been given and charged for the less-expensive Express Pedicure instead. I mentioned it to the associate who checked me out, but I am unsure whether she understood my concern, so I decided not to pursue it further. On the positive side, I now know the Express Pedicure would be a convenient option when I am short on time. I am willing to give this salon another try to determine whether this experience was an exception or the usual standard.

My thumbs were uneven, my nails crooked to one side, and odd dents in the middle of the nails. I came back to get them fixed and I left with the thumb nails fixed but the nails were still crooked, and there was that weird dent still. The man who did my nails said "oh the flowers on your nails are 3d" they aren't. It's dented in the areas where the flowers aren't even at. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the crooked ones since those broke after two days of having them. I'll go in chronological order of how this happened. I tell the guy I want whats in the reference photo, I tell him white background with champagne colored flowers. Took a good minute explaining that and as you see, didnt happen and got it wrong but thats my fault for not saying anything and going with the flow since it's my first ever time getting nails. He also told me to get longer ones and to get a dip manicure which made the order 45$ - 75$ but I thought, it should be fine! I trust that he can make the nails pretty! And I let him know he can make it more simple if need be. If I knew he couldn't get anywhere near the ref or even decent looking flowers I would've picked out something else. As y'all see in the photos it didnt work out. It took 2 hours for those nails, while my younger sister got more complicated ones and took less time, looked prettier, and was cheaper. So when I got to the car I balled my eyes out. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed of what I paid for since it was a terrible job. I called the people soon after asking if I can get a refund or atleast get these fixed/removed, and I was informed then that there was no refunds even though they were the ones who did a bad job. When I came back the same guy who did the nails in the first place served me and when I brought up the problems he just made excuses. Or just acted like it wasn't there, the thumb one may have some credit but everything else was practically straight up lying to my face. He just shaved my thumb nail down and sanded down the edges and failed to fix the crookedness. I don't think he even did that much to shave down the thumb nail either. Overall not a good experience but maybe it's just that one guy in that shop that is bad at nails.
