I've never had a pedicure that didn't make me squirm (I'm extremely ticklish)--I barely flinched through my 70-minute pampering, as Ruby seems to know how to scuff off all the dead skin without torturing her clients. Her attention to detail is impressive: from the trimming/cleaning (the real reason I have bi-weekly pedicures) to the massage to the perfectly painted nail, I left feeling treated like royalty! I have been coming to this salon for over two years, which makes it very disappointing to say that after last week, I will not be returning. I slept on it before writing this review and after sharing with few of my friends they advice I need to not return because it's greediness on their end to treat someone better than me because they would make more money. So here is what happened. When I arrived, two technicians were available and I was seated for both a manicure and pedicure. My technician had already prepared the foot soak and stepped away briefly to grab the manicure kit. During that time, two other clients walked in and were loudly requesting quick service because they were in a hurry. Instead of continuing with the appointment that had already started with me, my technician sat them down and began helping them first, leaving me sitting there with my feet soaking. After about 8 minutes, another technician came and began my pedicure. However, it has now been 40 minutes into my service and no one has even started my manicure, while the two clients who walked in after me are receiving full attention. As a long-time client, this felt extremely unfair and honestly left me feeling discriminated against, especially as it appeared that the white clients were prioritized over me. Whether intentional or not, it created a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. This is not the level of service I expected after being a loyal customer for so long. Unfortunately, today's experience has cost the salon a returning client. I will be finding another place going forward. read more

I booked a mani/pedi and the staff was nice. Only negative is that for some reason every nail place seems to like to file the end of your nails after the top coat. Because of this my nails started chipping the next day and have continued to do so. It is very frustrating as I decided to get my nails done for my birthday trip and a wedding the following week. It is looking like I will have to get my nails done again prior to the wedding unfortunately. I even tipped an additional $20+ over the $107 I paid for the service. I'm not typically one to complain but for someone that doesn't splurge on getting their nails done all that often it is disheartening when you finally do and the quality does not hold up to what was paid for. read more

Absolutely stellar service! I booked them last minute the day of an international flight. I was seen right away when I arrived and chose to do a gel set. The results were fantastic and long lasting! I went with a pretty basic red color, but the nails held up through our trip and two weeks after we got back! I also got my eyebrows waxed and was pleased with the results. The atmosphere is definitely luxury and very fitting for Trophy Club. It was also extremely clean, which was a major plus. !BEWARE CHOP SHOP VIBE! I decided to stop by after work for a pedicure. When you walk in, the salon is very pretty. Your typical "white modern salon" the vibe was great. I wanted acrylic extension added to my two big toes. The lady doing my nails made it seem like the biggest inconvenience for her. Like NEWS FLASH!!! THIS IS YOUR JOB. Anyways. I had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone came over and started the pedicure. Seemed to be only 5 people working. The man who I'm assuming is the manager brought me a mimosa and I went to take a drink to see the rim of the glass had god knows what stuck to it. (I attached a photo). When I ran my nail over it, it came off so I'm assuming these glasses are not washed correctly or if at all. The girl doing my nails was moving at the rate of a sloth. Which okay fine, you want them to be perfect. Great. But I don't want to spend my entire evening in a nail salon. It look her 1.5 hours to get my nails painted and the acrylic tip extension added. That doesn't even include the pedicure. On top of this she pulled some skin that I guess wasn't ready and I started bleeding very bad. Like dripping blood. She kept trying to rub alcohol over it and I kept having to tell her no. First she tried some blue clotting stuff and then she tried some powder. Now my toe has blood stuck in the corner of it and it is extremely extremely sensitive. I ended up still having to pay $45. Obviously I did not leave a tip and she seemed very very upset about that. I will NOT be back. You couldn't pay me to come here. At the end of the day I doubt she had her license. She seemed very unsure about everything. I hate to leave a bad review but I do NOT want anyone else to go through this experience. It SUCKED. It took so long that I didn't even stay for the pedicure part. read more

Both times the owner was working on my nails and he was super nice and also checking in on other customers! Every step he made sure that it was looking how I wanted it to and I loved the end result! I also have allergies to certain things and they didn't question when I said I couldn't use their cuticle oil and that I would use my own later. Every time I went in she would push me to get dip or gel on my toes even after I would say no. Definitely do not get a gift card. My family had bought me gift cards for Christmas and Valentine's Day (total of 3) and every time I tried to use them she treated me badly as if we didn't pay for them. In March, I went to pay and I handed her 2 gift cards as I wasn't sure which to use. She threw one away and I left with one gift card. When I went back the gift card I had was from Christmas and had $50 on it. Totally didn't add up. I know she threw one away that had money on it. So sad that I have to negatively update but my sister's acrylic nails started peeling/chipping days after and then completely chipping off after a week. We went in for holiday nails early and very disappointing that they didn't last long enough for all of the holiday events. I've been trying to find a go to nail place for probably the last two years. I bounce a lot between nail salons trying to find the perfect fit, trying to find a good place with friendly staff, good prices and amazing work and I finally found it! I decided to try this place out since I had seen some good reviews and thank god I did because this will forever be my go to nail place now. I walked in around 11:15 and was greeted by the owner, I think, who was super nice and friendly. They offered me water, soda or a mimosa and I opted out for a cold water. I was then greeted by Justin who did my pedicure and I love how patient and kind and thoughtful he was. He was so detailed with his work and added an extra towel so I wouldn't get cold, which happens a lot since I get cold easily. The massage was amazing, the attention to detail was perfect I don't think I've ever gotten a pedicure this good. Don then did my dip manicure and he did such a great job, double check with me if I liked the color if the shape was good and if I needed any changes.
