We did the Zombie Lab room at Infinity Escape in our early days of trying out escape rooms a year or so ago and have had our eye on "The Magic Cottage: The Sister's Curse" for a long time but it took us a while to find another couple to join us. We finally did it this past weekend and had a great time. This is the only room we've seen that actually gives you 75 minutes instead of the usual 60 minutes. This was a really fun room with a lot of different types of puzzles and had a very immersive feel. There were definitely some unique aspects of the room that we have not seen anywhere else. You are led into the room in blindfolds, it starts off dark and you have to solve an initial puzzle to brighten things up. I'll agree with some of the other reviews that Magnus the dragon who gives clues was often hard to understand. When you hear him start to speak, make sure everybody in your group is quiet. Jacob was our game master who great and helped us out a few times when he had trouble understanding Magnus. We were given a few extra minutes and were able to escape, but one of the puzzles didn't do what it was supposed to for a few minutes so we considered it a win. You have to sign a waiver when you arrive so be sure to show up a little early. They are working on a new alien abduction themed room which will be ready early next year and we're definitely looking forward to trying that when it opens.

First timers here! We will be back, we were soooo impressed with all the details, props, and set up. Our daughters are 14 and 12 and they did so great solving the puzzles. This was an amazing experience and look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed our time here. We did the Magic Cottage room. I do think the Audio was a bit difficult to understand so our GameMaster had to repeat things a couple times. It was a bit heavy on the smoke, but we had a great time solving the puzzles. Our GameMaster was so much fun, he got in character and we really enjoyed it!

Almost all of Escapade Games' rooms have a horror element and are obviously targeted towards the colleges nearby, but not only was Rockin' adapted to accommodate parties of two; for this season, it was themed to fit the holidays. We also got a very pleasant surprise when it came time to pay for our online reservation: it was half the price of a standard room for a party of 8! This was a (happy) shock because we are used to paying for 3 or 4, even though we are a duo. The 2025 Pineapple Express had slowed to a steady trickle by the time we arrived at Escapade Games Christmas Eve after a music-less British pub lunch less than a two-minute drive away. The cavernous restrooms, located outside the lobby, were clean, and the lobby looked like it was in the midst of some renovation, but another game was going on, and since we already filled out our waivers, we settled down to wait for our game to start. And waited. And waited. And waited. When we finally started our hour-long game, after the technical difficulties were resolved and the game rules reminders given, all was forgiven very fast: as a bonus to playing a game that was getting ready to be put out of commission, we could take unlimited photos in the room! And there was so much to do in the music-themed room: even though not all the instruments were playable, and there were still minor glitches as we were playing, Joey was a terrific game host - he, too, made a quick recovery from the technical issues and was as determined as we were to have a phenomenal game. There was no timer in the room, but going by our photos, we were done in 52:48, with a lot of help. Our favourite puzzles had to do with the picks and bands, and playing the instruments to rise back up to the top of the pops as rockstars is such an original theme. The music played put us in the holiday mood - especially "The 12 Days of Christmas". That's probably not our favourite Christmas song, but it helped that I just got done with Susan Stokes-Chapman's holiday short story collection! Rockin' around the Christmas Tree is set to what we consider 3-G (Generation 3, with a lot of computer FX elements) tasks with G-1 locks, and, despite the late start, was very much the best Christmas present to set us off on our holidays! Joey, our heroic gamemaster, was a huge part of the fun game we had. We could tell he had started off not having such a good Christmas because the room's serious technical issues were clearly unexpected, but he fixed everything so that we could have a great time. We eventually realized the fantastic price we paid was not just because our game, unlike other Escapade rooms, did not feature a live actor in the room. Even more importantly, we only found out, after our game, that the room was being taken down to make way for a three-room movie-based horror adventure. We are so, so glad that we got to experience Rockin' around the Christmas Tree before it was dismantled, and keep our fingers crossed it gets a spectacular comeback in the near future (like the rockstars we were supposed to be!) That said, we are looking forward to checking out anything else Escapade Games has to offer - can't wait for more games in 2026! This review is duplicated on Yelp and Google.

Coming back for the updated version, I honestly didn't expect it to top the first one -- but it absolutely did. The new ownership has taken everything that worked and elevated it, and the holiday Kruppes theme added such a unique twist without losing the spirit of the original. The set design, immersion, and overall tension are on a whole new level. Shoutout to Emily and Bree for making our experience incredible -- their energy and commitment made a huge difference. Every time we come to the Escape Game and try a new room, we are blown away by the tech they use. It's not-your-average mom & pop escape room, and for that reason we LOVE it. It operates with a first-come reservation basis, but each room has a max of 8-12 players. This means that you can bring your whole group in, and there's a chance you might have some strangers joining you as well if there's still space. These are public escape room games meaning you and anyone out there can sign up for the SAME room for the SAME time/date. Most rooms here fit up to 8 people which would be perfect if you had a large friend group. BUT if you only had 2-4 people and sign up ahead of time, be prepared to enter the room with new faces. Games start pretty on time, so make sure to be there with waivers signed! Also, they occasionally offer 20% off your next game once you escape the first! These games lean more on the tech side utilizing digital screens, electronic doors/buttons, lights, and puzzles - all of which I love! It adds more flavor to the game, while still providing the traditional puzzles feel with some rooms having locks, ropes, and mind-tingling puzzles. I would venture to say I like having more physical handheld clues like papers or props for decoding, but this place does get the job done. Some of the puzzles even require you to work simultaneously with your escape room team which creates more thrill! I have had friends that have gone here to the same rooms I have done where the rooms are slightly changed depending on the amount of people in the room or if the tech is broken - so just be aware that your experience could be different than others. For the price of about $42 a person you can't go wrong since there are multiple options that vary in difficulty from 3/10 to 9/10. Overall would recommend especially for a quick fun nigh

One of us is amazing at puzzles, one it was their first time in an escape room who wanted a horror one but not an intense horror one, and me who is still new to puzzles of escape rooms but has been dragged into a few intense (in my opinion) horror rooms where I was dead weight and just hiding lol. The rooms were immersive and had us laughing and screaming. Mostly laughing at how much we were screaming and jumping. The puzzles were like the perfect amount of brain power for like beginners but still challenging enough/ fun for the puzzle people. There were lots of creative pieces in the design that I don't want to go too in detail as to not spoil it. Definitely need to work as a team though and those were the type of puzzles my group likes because it allowed us all at our different levels to participate and have fun. We were talking about this escape room all night at our dinner because of how much fun we had. We would definitely recommend it for any people who love horror films, horror escape rooms, and want to get a good laugh. As for me a scaredy cat who kinda likes horror but has been a teenie bit traumatized but the intense ones this was a perfect like middle ground of immersion and puzzle solving without being in intense fight or flight LOL. This room is well made, immersive, and thoughtfully designed without being overly complicated. The puzzles are approachable, the flow is intuitive, and everything feels intentionally built for all ages, not just experienced escape room players. You're not rushed into stress--you're pulled into a story. The cat theme is adorable and surprisingly immersive. You're encouraged to crawl, climb, explore, and think with curiosity, which makes it feel playful rather than overwhelming. It's rare to find an escape room that's this wholesome, yet still engaging for adults. Perfect for families, kids, first-timers, or anyone who wants a creative escape room experience that prioritizes fun, imagination, and togetherness. A refreshing change from scare-based rooms--and proof that escape rooms don't need fear to be memorable.

Marc, the owner, was very nice and kind. He even allowed me to do a special request where I wore an outfit (which is a Morpshuit with t-shirt and shorts) underneath the gear used for the rage room. Very kind of him to accommodate this. I have never done a rage room before, so it was a unique experience. Shattering glass, and breaking things felt very liberating and it helped me release tension/anger. Additionally, at the very end, there was even another surprise where Marc even taught me how to throw ninja stars on the wooden board. It was super cool. At first, I couldn't get any ninja stars to stick, but on one of my final attempts, I actually did get the ninja star to stick, which was awesome!! I was pretty elated that I was able to do that! Also took a while before someone came out to help (I think they were in the back assisting maybe another customer?) but some signage would help. - Waivers could be sent prior to arrival to save on time since it was a google form - staff could be more welcoming and better at explaining. I understand it may be sketchy to go to a customer's car to evaluate items brought from home since it could be a risk to the staff, but I think it could either be instructed earlier before arrival OR simply just state that you cannot leave the business. The delivery of the comment made by the staff was not very smooth (almost felt like implying we were bringing something bad or wrong). - A timer inside the room might be helpful as it's hard to keep track of time once you're destroying things. - Phone "mount" could be better secured with a clasp or something because one bump and our phone fell on the ground where there's shards and scraps everywhere. This could have easily scratched the phone. - Room felt cramped, but understand that may be limited by the size of the store space. - Half of the group was arriving late, in which I shared upfront and thought that the staff would assist in getting them as ready as possible before our first group came out to swap, but when I came out, I saw that they had not even begun to change. I understand the face shield and gloves are limited quantities, but they could have started fitting in the other items like jumpsuit and face coverings. - Also as we were swapping, I ended up giving the second group the instructions when it really should have been the staff to give them the run through. It felt very disorganized during the swapping. For the price, I think it would be nice if each group received at least one larger item and not just cups, plates, and glass. All-in-all, it was fun to let out some rage by wrecking things and not having to clean it up. My friends and I did enjoy this different experience. Also fun to watch them from the room cam inside the Axe Room as they rage.
