Ari - Arianna and Jeff were amazing!! We did both rooms the zombie room and the sisters curse room in one day and got a discount. Both were super fun game masters and really put you in the story! Arianna was the sweetest ever! I'm not a big fan of even remotely scary things so I sat out while my group played but she was kind enough to walk me though it and my group had a ton of fun with that room as well! My husband loved the zombie room because it was non linear and he enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and I really loved the magic cottage room! We had so much fun in this Escape Room. We were a little apprehensive since the reviews have said it was difficult but we were able to escape with a few minutes to spare! Jacob was our game master and he was excellent at setting us up for success and guiding us with hints when we needed them. The use of technology in the Magic Cottage is so cool that we all actually felt like wizards doing magic! Regarding Magic Cottage - This is one of the most immersive 'magic' rooms that I have done. Every detail really felt like I was a wizard and casting real spells and creating potions. The decor was phenomenal and the special effects just took it right over the top. The puzzles were fun, challenging, and super interactive. The story was very cohesive and there are neat twists along the way (not gonna spoil anything though!). This room is 75 minutes so everyone in your party will be able to contribute and have a great time. We were entertained the entire time. If you go, Kameron is literally THE BEST and such an Escape Room enthusiast like myself and it was fun just talking to him about all of the rooms we have done. If you want an absolutely amazing escape room experience, I highly, HIGHLY recommend coming here and doing their Magic Cottage room. I cannot emphasize enough how phenomenal this room is. The first time I came here, my group had a disappointing experience with another escape room and was looking to book another room the same night to make up for it. We were actually looking to do the Zombie Lab but ended up doing the Magic Cottage instead. No regrets whatsoever. I was very pleasantly surprised because horror themed rooms are usually what intrigue me most, but the Magic Cottage just blew my mind away. Let's put it this way- the room was so good that my boyfriend and I came back with a DIFFERENT couple the very next week because we enjoyed it so much and wanted to support the business. Now, let's get into the details. The room itself is fantastically built and decorated. The team that builds the rooms actually make and design a lot of what goes into it, and the owner even showed my friends the original sketch of the room. Trust me when I say they put an extensive amount of time and energy into the room and it SHOWS. The puzzles are also very well thought out and implemented lots of technology. They actually cut out a few puzzle ideas due to the lack of space in the room, but nonetheless the puzzles that ARE there are still great. Now, the room isn't difficult. You get plenty of help from a dragon that you summon and if you're having technical difficulties, the game master will help out as well. The room is incredibly immersive and you discover more about the sisters and their history as you go along. All in all, great room and great business/business owners. My friends and I talked to the owner for at LEAST an hour after our room and it's so clear just how passionate he and his team are. We exchanged escape room experiences and it was very interesting hearing about their original thoughts for the room as well as its development. The only reason we have yet to do the Zombie Lab is purely out of our own preferences (it seems to be a room geared more towards beginners), but I'm sure it's a great room as well. We completed the Magic Cottage room with a party of four witches and wizards. The atmospherics and technology were outstanding. As previously stated, the rooms are dim and the sound system sometimes hard to understand--persons with visual or auditory issues may have difficulties at various times. The hints from the dragon and the human attendant were spot-on. Our room was run by the actual designer and we enjoyed talking with him about his design choices after finishing. read more

My friends and I had such a great time! I had called to ask since one of my friends was coming 10 minutes past the scheduled time for the Zombie Lab, and the staff was so kind and accommodating! My boyfriend and I recently escaped from the Magic Cottage, and are pleased to be able to tell the tale! Quick introduction stuff: my boyfriend and I have done close to 30 escape rooms at this point. (I really need to start keeping track). We had a blast in this room, and I definitely recommend this game for players both young and old, inexperienced and experienced alike! For this experience, I suggest a group of 3-4 would be the perfect team size to escape with for beginners. It is doable with a more experienced group of two, however. This room is filled with amazing tech and gorgeous detail! The production value is pretty on-par with some of the more detailed Los Angeles themed escape rooms. Immediately, the game master immerses you, and you are given some background into the story before entering the room, which adds to the level of immersion. The puzzles in this room were also unique. Although each puzzle was slightly linear, with one puzzle leading to another; I never felt as if I was bored at any point. Most times that I played escape rooms with linear puzzles, I get frustrated if I am having difficulties with a particular puzzle, mainly because I have to solve that puzzle to move forward. True to the theme, this particular escape room plays out the drama of the story beautifully through both puzzles and technology. Although most escape rooms we have done usually have one particular goal: to escape; this room specifically had one of the highest immersion values in a room that we have played. This game felt more like a true quest similar to a video game, with multiple tasks needed to solve in order to beat the puzzles, and not a simple "try-to-get-out-of-the-room ASAP" theme. One unique aspect of this room was that a particular choice you make does have consequences, adding to the intensity as the game comes to a close. Our game master Jeff was a treat to be able to talk to and discuss things with both pre and post game. Like many have said before, you can tell that he truly loves what he does. He divulged to us a little bit more about the history behind the company, along with some little tidbits of ideas he initially had for the room, which was a nice touch.
