Really easy to find, Google Maps took us right to the location and there is ample amount of parking too. The place was clean and they also have some fun photo props to use after. We especially loved that the easier puzzles were marked with one dot, so the kids could easily figure out which ones they could tackle themselves. We split into two teams, although afterward we realized we probably could have solved all the puzzles together and just split the cannonballs evenly for the Battleship rounds. I've been here twice did the Jester and the fortune teller. The jester was fun! We had couple of hints but escaped. The fortune teller was difficult but was challenging. We finished in second place, just 15 minutes behind the winners. We got a little lost at one stop, and I think that may have been the difference between first and second place. Still, it was a fantastic experience for the whole family and a wonderful way to celebrate Father's Day together.

These scavenger hunts are SO one-of-a-kind and have just the right amount of challenge (they're…read moretough and mind-stretching for sure, but not impossible to solve). Each of the locations are so unique, so even after you've done one, you will have a completely different experience at another location. It's one of my goals to hit up every location the mastermind and creative genius, Alex, has designed, and I'm well on my way with only one location left. In my opinion, these hunts are way more fun than an escape room because (1) they're longer -- 3-4 hours vs. 1-hour escape rooms -- thus more bang for your buck; (2) they involve walking around beautiful beach cities so you get exercise while enjoying the sun, fresh air, and creation; (3) they allow you to observe and appreciate art, monuments, and plaques you would normally otherwise overlook and walk right past; (4) they're designed so as you're walking between places, you can also chit chat with your teammates; and (5) they provide live competition against all the other teams and therefore fun motivation to work quickly and efficiently. I participated in my first Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt back in 2015, and I can confidently say that even after running these events for so many years, Alex is still just as passionate, invested, responsive, and funny. My group recently played Edeline and Cloud Escapes' newest room, Kapow Comics. We also had the…read moreopportunity to experience 49 Boxes earlier this year, a unique pop-up event that left a lasting impression. One thing Cloud Escapes does differently from many traditional escape rooms is that they let the story drive the puzzles. Their rooms tend to be very experience-focused, with each puzzle moving the narrative forward. That was especially true in Edeline, where the story felt like the heart of the room. Kapow Comics takes a slightly different approach. While it still has a strong theme, it leans more heavily into the puzzles themselves! The game starts the moment you arrive at the door. Be ready to pay attention from the very beginning. As for 49 Boxes, it's not really an escape room at all. It's a collaborative puzzle experience created by members of the magic community. There are six tables, and depending on where you're seated, you'll encounter a completely different set of mystery boxes. The tables work together to open the collective 49 boxes and ultimately solve one final reveal. It was such a clever concept, and I loved how it encouraged collaboration between complete strangers. Cloud Escapes continues to experiment with different styles of immersive puzzle experiences, and I appreciate that they're willing to take creative risks rather than sticking to the same formula. This escape room company is a must go!

Our game master was very thorough and patient with our new members. The scares were unexpected and in good taste. The puzzle materials were of good quality and durability. Afterwards, our game master Joseph took the time to give us a run down of their remaining rooms and insight into similar rooms that we might like based off our favorite parts of the Cold Case. 5/5 would recommend.

Brain Games is fantastic!…read more Ghost Stories is a great "play as many scenarios, no lose scenario experience. Jose was phenomenal as our GM and our in world guide. Flynn's Arcade was the best image to arcade games ever,ad props to Casey for his creativity. Treasure Island was a wonderful third room to wrap up the experience. So this review is going to be a little different than some of the other ones…read more I pulled into a parking lot today where Dragging Axe was set up, to buy a secondhand double stroller from someone on Facebook for my toddler and infant children. I got my stroller, wheeler back to the car, and the seller left. The stroller wasn't fitting in my car. I tried to take off the wheels. I tried the trunk. I tried the backseat. I called my husband seven times, my parents twice each. I stood there in the parking lot googling videos and also trying not to panic because no one was answering. The Internet had said that the stroller would fit into a Corolla, so I had no idea why it wasn't working. No one in my family with our larger cars was picking up their phones or answering their texts. My friends that did respond and offer to help were forty minutes away, with their own toddler children. I couldn't accept that. So I waited and kept futilely fiddling with the stroller. One of the owners must have noticed that I was struggling, because she very kindly came over and asked me if I needed help. I sheepishly admitted that yes, I'm an idiot and could not seem to get the stroller into my car. She was patient and figured out that the double stroller actually folded twice. Then, she even helped me put it on the trunk. I can't even begin to express how thankful I am. I was so flustered, I didn't even catch her name. Seriously, I had been on the verge of tears because I was stranded and had no idea when my family would get back to me. She looked like the angel she was. Can't even begin to express my appreciation. Anyway, I highly recommend them. If anything, they are kind and attentive and the latter is pretty important when you're going to be around a bunch of flying axes. Also, give your business to good people. Thank you again, from a frazzled mother of two under two.
