Party was on Saturday Feb 1st. I'd contacted several local and closer game truck companies (6 to be exact) and heard back from only 1 other along with Extreme. I reached out in the evening and I received a call first thing in the am. Robert was very friendly and informative. Super seamless and easy to book. I must have gone through 10 different game trailer rentals and this one had the best price and quality hands-down. I was quick to get a response on Yelp and then I booked three days before the event and had it all taken care of within less than 10 minutes on the phone, they asked for a 25% deposit and the rest to be paid upon services rendered. The trailer was a lot cleaner and newer looking than the pictures. I really feel that the pictures on here do not do it justice. It was like a party bus for kids with all kinds of tech. It was so hot that day. I was so thankful that they had air conditioning and for how many kids we had in there I was surprised how cool the trailer was able to stay. The outside playing area had no chairs and was facing the sun directly so you couldn't even play. It was so hot and they didn't have any shade so that was a waste. The kids were packed inside. They also experienced technical issues with several kids complaining some games were not working due to internet issues. Surprised my son for his 10th birthday and he was excited but after about 30 minutes him and his friends jumped off because the games were too "laggy". Not sure if it was because of our internet or what but... yeah. When the guy was setting everyone up he also had an issue with two of the TVs and said he needed to figure it out, I didint stay in there to see how long it took but still.. When I paid I was only due to give him the rest of the amount which was $275 and when I handed him $300 didn't ask if I needed change, just automatically assumed I was giving him the rest for a tip. What a great time! I threw my nephew's birthday party this year and wanted to do it up big. I scoured the web looking for companies that could do it in the inland empire. I got the run around from several companies, and got a few of them with mobster sounding owners giving me the "Yea, yea babe... we're able ta do ya gig at 11:45"... when I said the party would be at 1pm. Totally unprofessional! I'm so glad I didn't give up looking! This company is great! Answered all my questions, and respected me as a female customer. No calling me babe, or trying to flirt, and no being shitty on the phone. They showed up 20 mins EARLY to set up the truck and the fortnite cable, and the driver Chris was as so nice. What a great time for ALL of us... it really took the party to the next level! The truck was super clean on the inside, and you get a choice of 5 different trucks. I also love that the kids can't just play whatever, I was able to set the tone with no games that were rated M (it's like a movie being rated R, if you're not familiar) being allowed for play. The day of event was even better than expected thanks to our Game Captain Cole. My son had an amazing time, even getting over the VR not fitting his still growing head at first. Cole exhibited calm and kindness with each of the young guests, setting up and helped with games both inside and out of the trailer, and in the VR area, and never seemed shook by child chaos that would scare lesser Captains. Plus, Robert went out of his way to make sure we had a specific FNAF game for PS5 that I learned about from my son just days before the event! The truck held everyone, plus there were two TVs outside with games to play. The young man who stayed and ran the party was excellent. He managed a group of 30 kids with Nerf Guns! Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with booking this game trailer company. The game trailer was booked for a 10 to 12pm window in Tustin. I asked to switch the time to 1 to 3pm and I was told would not be a problem. Then hours later I was told this was not possible because traffic would be too bad after 3 o'clock on Fwy. Their website says it serves all of Orange County but they weren't willing to make the drive. I was actually very reasonable and simply asked that they not put "all over Southern California"on their website if they can't honor that. I had spent much time on the phone and had to restart the process with a new company. If you are looking for a company with excellent customer service that actually serves Orange County go with The Big Game Truck. You won't be disappointed. read more
