I won't spoil anything but just for example, something in one of our rooms required a tad bit more force than usual for an escape room. We got to a point where we were completely stuck. Something that we had checked seemed as if it was tougher to open than the typical escape room strength needed to open something. So we assumed it wasn't meant to be touched. Well the game master gave the clue that the thing we looked at early on was actually usable. Typical escape rooms make it very easy to tell if something is meant to be used or not. If it's easy to move or open then it's fair game. If it does take some force then generally not something meant to be used. Anyways yes we did escape. Even if we thought some of the puzzles were a bit of a reach, I could see how they go there with their line of thinking. Maybe it's just that game we did. Not sure if they are all like this.

The adrenaline rush at the end was amazing, and it completely hooked us. Now we're already talking about which escape room to tackle next. I initially purchased the rage room through Groupon. However, Groupon had the wrong instructions, which unfortunately backfired on us financially. There was no redemption code and as an honest mistake, purchased the rage room (again) when I already had the Groupon voucher. I explained my situation to Brainy Actz and was told by the employee there is a no refund policy. Furthermore, she stated that the policy is stated on the booking page. However, there is no refund policy stated on the booking page throughout the process. I recorded and took screenshots of this, and emailed it to Brainy Actz. It has been over a week and I have received no response. Additionally, I reached out via IG, LinkedIn, and Facebook.... still no response regarding my issue. Therefore, I have been resorted to leaving this public review. P.S. This is not my first time using Groupon. I have used it many times for over a decade. Groupon basically said it was not their problem and that I need to ask for a refund from Brainy Actz. Hence my problem here. I had to fight for a refund with Groupon, which I received a partial one through GrouponBucks. My friend and I are still at a negative deficit, and Brainy Actz has not responded to my complaints, especially regarding their "blanket refund policy."

Phones aren't allowed in the rooms and they provided lockers to leave personal belongings. There were 5 different rooms to choose from. We chose to do the Zombie Apocalypse. They have two rooms that are supposed to be scarier and two that are not scary at all. The zombie was in between. We had one hour to complete the room. The room had a bunch of clues. Some were easier than others. We actually bypassed 3 of the locks because we accidentally got the factory reset. That took a little bit out of the fun for us since we didn't need to find the codes for those locks. We end up finishing with 26 minutes left on the clock. Our game master helped out with clues when we needed it and got stubborn and stuck on a single clue. There was 6 of us and total came out to $42/person. This room was fun, but for this price, I was expecting a more intricate escape room with more rooms or interactions. I'd be fun to come back to try the other rooms they have, but I might prefer to go to a different escape room instead.
