Brought the sons of an out-of-town guest here and they had a great time. Eric, the instructor, was really nice, polite, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure the kids enjoyed it. The mock cockpits are nicely done and make the flying experience feel realistic enough to be fun without being overwhelming. Price was reasonable for what you get. Good spot for kids, aviation fans, or just something different to do.

This was an amazing experience! We did the F18 dog fight. The staff was great, the prepared us for our experience with tips and knowledgeable guidance. Book your expirence today, you wont be disappointed!

What a wonderful find. They were so accommodating with our late arrival. It meant so much for my son who has practice aviation on the computer and really took flying really seriously!! He learned much about controls prior to this experience and was highly impressed with how realistic the simulation is. Even at the back I felt wind, movements and sound that was so realistic as an airplane. The whole set up and instruction was so realistic and calm, including checking all of your controls prior to takeoff! I love how we had to taxi because a plane in front of us was taking off and we had to wait for our turn until we got clearance from the control center This simulation and copilot instructions is Exactly as what you typically see it in the show. What a wonderful idea and execution for those interested in aviation!!

The whole experience was amazing! Took my 11yr old and he and I had a blast doing both the car and jet simulators!

My wife's 60-minute 737 flight was better than expected. Her "co-pilot," Aaron, was patient, clear, informative, and he didn't let her crash. Soon I'll have to return to race cars or fly a fighter jet. I will be a step up from driving a Honda Civic or flying a Cessna 150. Do yourself a favor, and fly over there now.

Tommy was a really great help today! Made my 2nd experience here a blast!! Really appreciate all the help in making this a very fun evening

Ask the Community - Flightdeck RogueRacing

Is there an area for spectators to watch the racing or fighter jet sims?

I never made it into the room where the fighter jet sims were. In the 737 sim, I remember there were seats for 2-4 spectators to sit.

This is interesting!!! Just want to be sure. No flying experience is required. Right?

    Right.

Do you sign sim time in log books for licensed pilots?

Hi Elaine – no we are not FAA certified although we get many pilots who are interested in flying the Boeing 737 that will do 15 to 20 hours for cockpit familiarization.

How much is the entrance fee for adult and child?

It varies depending on what experience you choose. Please go to our website https://www.flightdeck1.com/

My son is turning 10 and is obsessed with flight. Was thinking about this for his birthday. Would the 737 simulation be too advanced for him at 10?

I don't think so, but it is a lot of pre-flight checks, so it may be boring. The pre-flight check list is like an actual pre-flight check, so it took a while. My son is a teen and looking at becoming a pilot, so he loved it all. We sat behind our…

What is the best way to contact somebody? I've been trying to get a hold of somebody and it seems impossible.

Hi Britany - We emailed you on Oct 18 but haven't received a reply. I can be reached at Nine Four Nine-385-3445

Can I bring my RC Airplane to fly at that location?

I doubt it. It's within' the Gardenwalk which has a lot of people and buildings around. And it's proximity is very close to Disneyland which is not a good idea to be flying anything nearby.

Is the Boeing 737 simulator Full Motion?

Hi Jeremy - Our simulator is a static based one (no motion) so we can keep the price somewhat affordable for many people.

Too scared to try the simulation but got it as a gift for someone. Would I still be able to take photos of them and with them?

Hi Maggie- gift certificates can be transferred to another person and we actually encourage taking pictures!

    Small Pets allowed?

Yes, if present customers are okay with it.

    How much is it?

Hi Jennifer- our prices range from $59 to $398 and you see everything on our website at www. Flightdeck.com

Good for kids? What's the minimum age?

Hi Linda- yes, the min age is 11 and height 4’ 11”

Is there a place to wait if you are the driver and not doing the simulation? Is there a screen to see what they are doing?

Yes If you are doing the Boeing 737 then you can be in the same room and you will get the same feel as a pilot. Sort of called " observer seat " AMAZING…

    Do they offer military discount?

Yes, we offer a 15% discount.

How long does the simulation last?

I believe it was 40 mins

    How much is it?

$59 for the fighter jet experience and $98, $189 or $279 for the Boeing 737. See link for more info www.Flightdeck1.com

Severe ADA Violation - Denied Entry by Manager Josie for Medical NecessityReview Text:…read more I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by my experience at this establishment regarding a blatant refusal to accommodate a legitimate medical necessity. I have Sjögren's disease, a chronic autoimmune condition that attacks moisture-producing glands. This causes severe, constant oral dryness and extreme thirst, requiring me to have immediate, continuous access to water. When I tried to enter with my water bottle, I was stopped. I explicitly explained my medical condition and the physical necessity of having hydration on hand. Despite this clear medical explanation, the manager/employee, Jose, refused to allow me to enter. Instead, he gave me an unacceptable ultimatum: I could either repeatedly walk back and forth to my car in the parking lot to drink water, or I could purchase water directly from the venue.Under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), public businesses are strictly required to make reasonable modifications to their policies to accommodate individuals with medical conditions and disabilities. Forcing a customer to pay for water or exit the building repeatedly just to access a medical necessity is a clear violation of public accommodation laws.Manager/employee, Jose and the rest of the front-line staff desperately need proper training on ADA compliance and basic customer empathy. I expect the ownership to take immediate corrective action so that no other patron with a medical condition is subjected to this unlawful treatment.

There used to be an area with around a dozen pinball machines, but that area was completely bare this time. There were still pinball machines along another wall, but I remember them being in both areas, so it felt like there were quite a few fewer machines overall. A few of the other games weren't working either, including the air hockey and basketball games. I also noticed there wasn't a DJ that night. That may have been something that simply wasn't scheduled for that evening, so I'm not going to hold that against the place. I'm just mentioning what I experienced. I did get to play Galaga, which was fun, but I was hoping to play Centipede and it wasn't there that night. I ended up playing only two games before heading downstairs to the tiki bar. Maybe it was just an off night, and I may have caught Mission Control at a bad time. I just remember it being a much more lively and fun arcade the last time I was there. I was disappointed because I had really been looking forward to coming back. I hope it was just an off night, because I'd like to see it get back to the place I remember.

I actually thought they were decent and especially when going bowling with your friends and all. I remember my friend ordered the standard chicken tenders and fries for his other friends and I to share. The arcade selections is not bad, better than my last visit but I sort of missed the selection they had when I first visit this place. Especially since my first visit had tons of variety ranging from fighting games like BlazBlue and Persona (I miss that Persona fighting game), racing games, rail shooters like Time Crisis, and games where you earn tickets like Space Invader and that pirate wheel spinning game (don't know the name). I didn't mind the airsoft ones like Onpoint and the Cyberpunk game (which didn't work when I visited btw) because it always felt good using those but I'm not a fan of the VR ones. Mostly because it invalidated the rail shooters and you get sick of it easily. It's the reason why I rarely see anyone play those. The good part about the arcade selection is that unlike most arcade places, tickets are a lot easier to rack up and especially if you know which game to play. The plinko ones I highly recommend if you want to earn tickets. Speaking of comparison, this is place is surprisingly a lot quieter (outside of kids acting like you know kids) but that's because most of the people that go to Round 1 are like teenagers and young adults. Which makes sense given the amount of anime stuff this place provides. The claw machine is obviously the main attraction and they've honestly gotten much harder than previous first few visits, which is why I deduct one star. Though the staff were helpful enough to reposition the plushie so that I could get it but I'm not sure if they still do that. They have a lot of selections of anime merch but good luck trying to win those given how hard they've gotten. It'd be a miracle if the claw even lifts it up. The balls underneath the prize certainty didn't help either.

The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides.
