We just escaped Magic Cottage and it was honestly one of the most detailed escape rooms we've ever done~ The setup was absolutely beautiful and every little detail made the whole experience feel so immersive and magical. The special effects were amazing and added so much excitement to the puzzles and storyline. You can really tell how much creativity and effort was put into this room. We did both escape rooms at the same day and boy it was so fun! I love that the puzzles are axtually challenging and thought provoking! I'd say one of the best escape rooms wev'e done recently. Love how interactive and fun the rooms are! I thought the zombie room was really good, but the magical room was even better i'd say. I love both, and would recommend for people to do both rooms. It was all worth the fun and adventure! wish they had more rooms. Also, the game master was nice and was very accomodating. He followed us through our progress and helped when we felt stuck. We last minute decided to do an escape room and chose this place based on the ratings. With a 5-star rating, I can see why! This escape room was so much fun for our family! We did the Magic Cottage which was super interactive. I've never done an escape room before but the rest of my family has. I didn't know what to expect, but the rest of my family said this one was better than others. The 3-D effects and all the cool puzzles make it so entertaining! One thing tho, when you get told "clues/directions" you have to listen good. Like, no one should be talking/whispering as it's difficult to hear otherwise. I'd definitely recommend checking out this place! There was limited street parking in front, but there was a lot across the street. I'm not sure if you have to pay or if it was free. read more

I had never done an escape room, but always wanted to, so I rounded up friends and family, read a lot of reviews, and decided on the Magic Cottage at Infinity Escape. It was wonderful! It had an engaging plot, fun puzzles, enough variety to play to the strengths of all 6 of us, enough hints to keep us going without giving too much away, not scary (that would have been a deal-breaker for me), and gorgeous sets/props/atmosphere. Where to begin? We came here on a Saturday morning, in the middle of Fullerton, ready to do some major escaping. Ended up choosing the magic cottage, and it was something wonderful, I gotta say. The room is full of high tech puzzles, innovative designs, and great theming. Our group of 3 was plenty busy with the different kinds of puzzles and we were happy with the pacing as well as the depth. The room itself is very well thought out, and programmed to be as hands off as possible, so that you don't necessarily feel like you NEED hints if your group is thinking the right way. However, we got some nudging in the right direction, and it didn't feel forced at all. Overall, I'll definitely be back for another room, especially if it's made with the same quality and thought as this one. read more

Rooms are great! Magic cottage is a 10/10. One of the best rooms I've ever done. This is a MUST do. This is the first one we did here and because of that I think because this the zombie/lap one is a little lackluster. If I had tried the zombie one first I would have had a better time. We did the Zombie Lab room at Infinity Escape in our early days of trying out escape rooms a year or so ago and have had our eye on "The Magic Cottage: The Sister's Curse" for a long time but it took us a while to find another couple to join us. We finally did it this past weekend and had a great time. This is the only room we've seen that actually gives you 75 minutes instead of the usual 60 minutes. This was a really fun room with a lot of different types of puzzles and had a very immersive feel. There were definitely some unique aspects of the room that we have not seen anywhere else. You are led into the room in blindfolds, it starts off dark and you have to solve an initial puzzle to brighten things up. I'll agree with some of the other reviews that Magnus the dragon who gives clues was often hard to understand. When you hear him start to speak, make sure everybody in your group is quiet. Jacob was our game master who great and helped us out a few times when he had trouble understanding Magnus. We were given a few extra minutes and were able to escape, but one of the puzzles didn't do what it was supposed to for a few minutes so we considered it a win. You have to sign a waiver when you arrive so be sure to show up a little early. They are working on a new alien abduction themed room which will be ready early next year and we're definitely looking forward to trying that when it opens. read more

Wow! Infinity Escape takes the cake in terms of taking escape rooms to the next level. A fan of escape rooms, I have been to my fair share of good and bad ones. When you go through reviews, you see that many discuss The Magic Cottage: The Sister's Curse, and it is the reason why you should check out this place! Without giving away too much, the Magic Cottage is an escape room that involves two sister witches that are bound, and you are trying to help one of them ultimately escape. I would say it sounded a little generic, but I was really surprised with how involved and immersive the story ends up being. The tech in the room for the puzzles was some of the most clever. There were times when the audio was a little bit muddled with everything going on, but at least there is the Puzzle Master who is available to help repeat anything or give any hints if you are completely lost. They do have another room and another in the works in 2025. Definitely interested in trying those when I return. Parking is available in the nearby lot by the escape room. Overall, Infinity Escape is worth checking out especially for The Magic Cottage: The Sister's Curse! read more

My daughter picked this room out based on the brochure she found at Cross Roads. We didn't know much going in and I was delighted by the surprising uses of technology and set design. One of the more "immersive" rooms we've done. Some truly fun reveals and I can't reccomend this one enough. The storyline about rescuing one of the sisters was exciting, creative, and perfect for both kids and adults. The room was beautifully designed with fun fantasy elements, clever clues, and puzzles that were challenging but not overwhelming--great for beginners and families. The staff was friendly, patient, and made the whole experience even better. He explained everything clearly and kept the atmosphere light and fun. We stayed engaged the whole time, and the final rescue moment was super rewarding! Whooaaaaaaaa. Who woulda expected a non-traditional and quite excellent escape room in Fullerton? The ratings ARENT LYING!! And this review was not coerced or have some kick back either. Just pure fun and unique high quality puzzles! We've done over 45 rooms. So our review has that perspective. The Magic Room: this room was a "toss-up" because I wasn't sure if we would enjoy it, but our group of three pretty experienced folks really had a blast! The types of puzzles in this room were non-traditional and quite unique and there were probably a grand total of three lock and keys which made the rest reeealllly creative. The other puzzles had some high-tech involved and some unique puzzles I've never seen before. Honestly for a startup mom and pop escape room this was quite enjoyable! I was told the difficulty was 7/10 and I agree with that. And for design and quality... SUPERB. One of our teammates said this is his favorite room so far. Might have been a bit too challenging with two people but three was perfect! Two improvements I would recommend would be a clearer way to hear the assistant in the room (the dragon--i dont know what he's saying half the time. Is it speaker quality?). And the other would be an update to the web page cover photo of the room because it's shockingly very different in quality than I expected (basically a better design would be great! It looks a bit comical which gives off the lower-quality vibe, IMO). Pros: - they currently have two rooms and building a third one which means they can really dedicate themselves to the quality of their rooms. - quite affordably priced compared to some other escape rooms out there - our game master is one of the co-owners of the room and he was so passionate and talked with us for a good 30 mins after our room. What a treat! I wish all of our rooms had their owners talk to us. - I loveeeed the quality of the room! SO MUCH DETAIL - Very minor grime! Which is shocking. Usually rooms with a bit of wear and tear will show it...but our room didnt. Again, shocking. Cons: - You may want to ask ahead of time for parking instructions. You may need to pay...or you may not need to. We will be back next time to try out the horror themed room...maybe. Actually most likely not. But excited for your new developments! read more

Our group of 3 have been trying to go to different escape rooms once a month and a lot of those places said that we had to go try The Magic Cottage at Infinity Escape. We said sure why not! At first we were told it was linear and I was worried because my last experience with a linear escape room was not good. We walked in and quickly discovered that there is ALOT to do even though it was linear. Not going to spoil the room, but the details in the room was very nice. Every puzzle made sense and everything you need for the puzzles are there. There might be some malfunctions but the game master will jump in if something has gone awry. The game master was sweet and very nice. He talked about the room and gave us some insights on which ones were usually the hardest puzzles and which ones we did well on. He also gave us some behind the scenes about what could've happened if we did certain puzzles a certain way. I really enjoyed my time here and also enjoyed the free mints they had on our way out :) read more

My husband and I did the Magic Cottage. We really enjoyed the room and we've done many rooms (10+) and usually look for expert level with just the 2 of us. This room was linear and very well done. We finished in 50 minutes out of the 75 minutes allotted, which really impressed the room master. We were told that the success rate is usually about 62-75%. We had such a fun experience playing The Magic Cottage: the Sister's Curse! The technology, visual effects, and production value is on another level; I'm so glad we decided to try it out. Their location is in the heart of Downtown Fullerton so take that into account when trying to find a parking spot. DTF is full of different types of paid/unpaid parking lots and structures so try to come early. We found free parking but walked about 3 minutes to get to their building. Our game master was Jacob and he was great in explaining the rules of the room and immersing us in the story. During our game we unfortunately ran into some issues with some of the tech not working and he had to step in to help troubleshoot the issues. However, that factor didn't detract too much from the overall experience. A lot of care was put in to make sure we had a magical time and there were plenty of surprises from start to finish. Also, this is a 75 minute game and the creators intended for players to see the complete story plus all of the effects so don't be afraid to ask for hints -- although my group and I are stubborn and exhausted all options before asking for one! We went to eat sushi for a birthday dinner and noticed this escape room was nearby. We decided to go on a whim and did the Magic Cottage. The guy who ran the place was very friendly and during the intro was very in character which added to the experience making it more enjoyable. The room was very well decorated and looked legit. You could tell there was a lot of effort put into the crafts. When I went to the bathroom I noticed some plywood and blocks which makes me think that the guy who runs it makes his own props and truly puts effort in the rooms. The puzzles were engaging and enjoyable. Our party of 6 had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend this place. My friends and I did the magic cottage escape room and absolutely loved it!! Between the five of us, I had the most experience having done 30+ rooms and my friends had done between 1-5 rooms, and we all felt that the room was manageable given the time frame but we did feel the pressure to keep making progress towards the goal to finish in time. This room and the puzzles created the most immersive theme that I have ever seen in an escape room. The puzzles were all in the theme of magic, and the tech, decor, and lights really made it feel magical! Such a fun and challenging escape room. I found this escape room on Yelp and it had such great reviews. I knew I had to try it. We did the Zombie room and they really went all out with the decorations and animatronics. It is challenging as it isn't straight linear it's a combo. We finished with about 12:00 minutes left on the clock. Our time keeper Isaac was super friendly and helped us with a couple clues.
