I selected a top rated gas hot water tank, and the manufacturer's web site listed them for Houston…read moreand I called them Sunday as my old tank had failed and was leaking water all over my utility room. I appreciated that I got a real person vs AI fake call answerers or recording machines, when I called. He asked about my situation vs everyone else who wanted just to come out for $$ to do an estimate. He asked for pictures of my tank and ventilation on roof, and then outlined his costs. He came off very professional and said his guys would her on Monday afternoon--which they did on time and listened to my concerns not to scratch my washer/dryer . The guys were professional as well. I not giving a 5 star as I desperately wanted a service call on Sunday given the water everywhere. That they were unable or unwilling to do--I'd even pay extra. (If they came to my rescue on Sunday I'd given 5 star and post a video on FB and other social media as I wanted the problem solved that day). I'd use them again if the tank lasts as long as my old Kenmore. The professionalism made them stand out--just hope it doesn't fail on Sunday.

Really poor customer service. Someone recommended Wendt and I called to schedule an appointment…read more Their voicemail pointed me to scheduling on their website so I went ahead and did so. When no one arrived the day of the appointment I called and left a vm as well as texted. I got a response stating they'd emailed me saying I had to reschedule to another day 9am time slot because I live in Houston outside of Katy. I doublechecked and they'd never emailed me - I hate when people try to make me feel dumb or like I missed an email. Anyways, I then rescheduled for the following week at 9am and they then told me I needed to choose another day once again. If the online appointment slots aren't accurate don't offer online scheduling, and if driving to Houston is too difficult don't service that area.

Told them it was a serious issue and if anyone could come by on the 23rd. Without hesitation we were told Travis would be there within the hour. First off, Travis was courteous and knowledgeable. Took his time to trouble shoot. Found the problem and cleared out the issue. Epic save for Xmas weekend. After it was done, Travis went around to see if there were any other troublesome issues. Shared them but wasn't pushing to fix. Another plus. They could've charged and arm and a leg to have him come out. But it was reasonably priced and will be used again.

We called them a year and a half ago and were very happy but the latest visit seemed too expensive…read more Two years ago they replaced a whole toilet for $229, which was great, so now charging $125 just to tighten the toilet pump seemed like too much. The guy was great (friendly, professional , knowledgeable and punctual), he checked everything for potential problems, so there's no problem with the quality of the work or customer service, but for something that simple the $60 visit charge should have been folded into the labor costs.

They had a contract for 2 years of labor service In October when the temperatures started to fall, my heater was not working and did not warm up the house. The technician came in and replaced the zoning system and charged me an additional large amount. Even after that, the heater is not working. I have tried to follow up with their technician and their office to help get someone to come and fix the issue. I am not getting any response or help to resolve the issue I would give -1 rating to them if possible. I had been having stoppage problems with my drains for nearly a year. I had had multiple plumbers…read morecome out and have a look, but none of them were able to address the root cause of the problem. Eventually, after running a camera we determined the root cause was roots perforating my concrete pipe. I had two plumbers quote a replacement for the concrete pipe. Wedgeworth quoted $3250 w/ 5yr warranty and Beacon quoted $2560 w/ 10yr warranty. Beacon completed the job quickly and for the agreed upon price--while also identifying errors Wedgeworth had made when they ran the camera. After dealing with several plumbers in the Spring Branch area over the last year, I would highly recommend Beacon Plumbing. Their prices were lower, and their quality of work was greater. Five stars.

Let's start with this, Beacon is the one to call when having any sort of plumbing issue, period…read more Last night, before bedtime, I noticed the toilet-from downstairs- started making odd noises. A few minutes after, water started coming out of the toilet -from top and underneath-. This was happening fast and, while in panic mode- started placing towels towels to contain the nasty water. In other words, we were facing a septic emergency, and we needed professional help "pronto". After wasting almost 2 hours -while waiting for one of the big names in plumbing- I decided to call Beacon around 10:30pm. They did not only pick up the phone and confirm the service call within 45min, Beacon actually arrived -ready to tackle the problem- on time! Matt and Adrian started working right away, and in minutes they provided an assessment of the situation and a quote. Not only Matt and Adrian were extremely professional, but also their customer service skills were above par. This was a very tricky job; nevertheless, Matt and Adrian were able to temporarily resolve the situation and start arranging the action items required to permanently resolve the sewage drain issue the following morning. Ona side note, while Matt was walking me through the plan for the following morning, Adrian was working on cleaning all the affected area, and the results were outstanding. Things were almost like nothing happened. The following morning, Beacon sent Matt, Adrian, and Omar. Omar was in-charge of making the repairs, and the results were excellent. He was able ro replace the affected pipe and have things back ro normal in no-time. I have ro say that the quality of work, professionalism, and personalized attention were excellent. I cannot thank enough Matt and his crew for saving the day. Beacon will be my go-to plumbing service provider for the years to come. Also, they are fairly priced!
