Beautiful atmosphere I really love looking at all the owners items he's collected over the years. The food is good however it isn't always consistent and it is a little pricey but it is Sparta... but they do have wonderful staff!

The restaurant was beautiful. Love the industrial decoration and feel of the place. The service was great. Wasn't too busy on a Thursday for dinner. The food was good. My burgers cheese wasn't fully melted. Truffle fries were delicious. I'd definitely go back to try other items on their menu.

Great happy hour spot! Industry is beautifully decorated. Love the lights and decor. Service is phenomenal. From the bartenders to the manager, everyone is friendly, funny and accommodating. Happy hour drinks are pretty good. Love the Smoke & Embers. Buffalo cauliflower was just okay for me. It was mushy like it was frozen and not fresh. The crispy mozzarella and short rib tacos were super tasty though! Highly recommend.

This place has always caught my attention when passing by. They have so many beer options. It was a weekday afternoon so it was not crowded. My chick sandwich was good and my friend said the meat was excellent. I will need to return for an evening to see how the service is when it's full.

Came in for the fantastic HH (2-6) daily. Beautiful space with lots of windows & a ginormous bar with really nice comfortable chairs. Enjoyed the Smoke & Ember bourbon cocktail & my husband had the Vendo 39. We shared apps: 6 delish oysters, sticky wings (got 12 of them!), & berria tacos. All were excellent. Our service was good. Noticed that you can only get the bar menu by sitting at the bar. If you sit at the tables in the bar area, you don't get the HH deal - think that's a mistake - would bring in more business.

This was honestly pretty rough. Industry looks great inside and out, but unfortunately that's where the positive story ends for them. They've caught my eye a handful of times on my way to visit my top-tier chum in the Kingdom of Sussex, and one of the reasons is because it seems out of place in the middle of nowhere up there - you'd expect a bougie-looking, gigantic American restaurant/bar like this to be hanging out off of Route 3 in Clifton or something. But it's also giving off some upscale Applebee's vibes, with a dash of mixology. Which I can certainly get behind. I stopped here last night for a drink and a bite to eat with my aforementioned chum. Despite it being pretty hopping (understandable for a Friday night), it was very easy to find parking nearby. The parking situation overlaps with the nearby Shoprite, and since it IS the Kingdom of Sussex, traffic in general is pretty drama-free when it doesn't indirectly involve sinkholes and whatnot. The interior is VAST, to an insane degree. There is a lot of space, very high ceilings and the only room that seemed to be a normal size was their classy party room to the side (which kind of gave off conference room more than anything else, but no matter). The two young women at the front were very friendly and personable and directed me to both the bar area and the bathroom (the latter with no prompting) which is a huge plus in my book. What goes in must come out. Top marks for the hostess area. We were fortunate to secure two spots at the bar just as a small group was leaving and promptly ordered drinks. I went with the Smoke & Ember, which was, I'm sorry to say, easily the worst drink I've had in a while. I had a bad feeling when I asked if they could use Angel's Envy bourbon instead of the listed Elijah Craig, and I was told they couldn't because the Elijah Craig was "on tap." Not a good sign at all; the cocktail isn't actually made to order. Far worse though was the "smoke" and "embers" portion of the drink, and it was the dictionary definition of style over substance. They absolutely CHARRED an orange slice garnish and put this weird filter/lid on top I guess to provide a superficial smoky optic? I don't know, but it looked like a shower drain protector which isn't the greatest vibe as you're trying to drink something from underneath it. Anyway. This might be the first time I attempted to take a sip of a drink and had to STOP before doing so because the smell was so overwhelming it was making my eyes water. They literally could have just taken a shovel, scooped ashes out of a firepit, thrown them in my face and said, "Now drink this bourbon cocktail." Same effect. I'd get that off the menu immediately before someone gets injured. The food options didn't present a physical danger but were pretty mediocre. We got the charcuterie/cheese board, which was fine. It was very pro forma as you can see from the attached, and at least a good portion, but honestly not something I'd get again. There weren't enough diverse flavors so every sample/bite was kind of the same theme, if that makes sense. The cookie skillet was also average to slightly below average - the cookie was overcooked and required some effort to chip away at, and it wasn't particularly warm so the ice cream wasn't melting aggressively and helping moisten the hard cookie surface. The service was rough, flat out. We dealt with both the bartender and two waitresses, who were all busy and extremely overwhelmed (they WERE nice to us despite the hectic situation, so good on them there). It's a VERY long bar and the coverage just wasn't there for it. It took literally 15 minutes to get a dessert menu (though I give credit for the waitress remembering to bring it after all that time without additional prompting) and other than our initial drinks, everything just took forever. I had delightful company but we were probably there at least an extra half hour longer than necessary. There's a Wal-Mart in Newton. My recommendation would be to go there, purchase a fire pit, get a nice flame going, and make your own cocktail to sip next to it.

I've come to industry mostly for work events a few times, and both the service and environment are top notch. From the wall decor that makes it feel industrial, to the ensuring of each meals consistency. There is never a doubt I will have a good meal. This last time I had the seafood pasta, of which had the perfect amount of spiciness that got paired well with a delicious smoked old fashioned.

My mother and I came here to eat and we were both very disappointed. The restaurant has had a change in chef and manager since we came around a year ago and it's clear things have gone downhill from then. I had the famous ribeye steak sandwich. The bread was soggy. The fries were overcooked and clearly burnt. I like crispy fries but this was way beyond that. My mom had the fig and prosciutto flatbread which was drenched in fig jam. Some is okay but the bread was absolutely drenched in it which made it inedible at that point. My mother told the waitress and the kitchen came back with a remade version of the dish but again they drenched the flatbread with the fig jam so we just decided to pay and leave. Very disappointed since my mom left with no food in her stomach. It was just an utter disaster and waste of money. Don't go to this place unless you want to waste your money!

Wow! This place is so cool! Industry has been on my list for a while to try. It is almost an hour away, but definitely worth the trip. It had it all, ambiance, perfect food, & great service. This place is decorated with the coolest vintage stuff around. A cocktail table made out of a roulette wheel, at the bar, great vintage signs, motorcycles, movie lights, clocks, & more! You can spend hours playing, I spy! The chandeliers are also epic. The food was fantastic! I had a beet salad, branzino, a cream soda mocktail, & the triple sorbet. The manager is wonderful as well! I will definitely go back!

A lot going on in this place in terms of reviews! Contrary to several others on this reaturant, my food came out in a timely manner and the wait staff was pleasant. However, I'm 100% on board with how pricey certain items are. I was there for lunch and wanted a salad but didn't want to break the bank. A Caesar salad was $18 and shrimp was an additional $18. Am I reading the menu correctly?? The shrimp tacos were okay. The shell was entirely too small for the filling and the shrimp was chewy. The soup was okay but nothing to come back for. Overall a beautiful place that fits the name but they need to get their pricing and or quality in line for me to return.

    Very large, soggy mozzarella sticks

I stopped in here for lunch. The atmosphere is really nice. It's open and airy and very pretty. I have mixed feelings about the food. I ordered the Tuna Tartare Tacos. They were very good, however, the portion is small, so don't order this if you're hungry. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks to go. They came with a marinara sauce and a pesto sauce. Well, they put the marinara and the pesto sauce together in the bottom of the to-go container and then put the mozzarella sticks right on top. By the time I got home they were a soggy mess. Did they taste good? I don't know, the whole thing went into the garbage.

We had a fantastic dinner last night. I love the ambiance there, it is just a little different than other places in area. Our waitress, Daniela, was great and very attentive. Two of us ordered NY strip that was delicious. My husband ordered surf and turf which he really enjoyed. We had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which I highly recommend. And the spinach that came with dinner was more like a spinach roll with outside Parmesan bread crumb crust. Unreal!! We finished off with brownie dessert with toasted marshmallow, ice cream and chocolate drizzle. Out of this world! It was my birthday and couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate!

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

Gluten-free bread can really make or break a meal, and this place does it right. ***2 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe I'm just not into the concept of smash burgers, but I really didn't get the hype with this one. This was a special request from my top-tier chum from the Kingdom of Sussex, who'd been eyeing up this place for months and petitioned to come here after our NJ Bookstore Crawl adventures last weekend (I wanted to go to the only guaranteed high quality eating establishment in the Kingdom, Farmer's Daughter in Newton but was overruled by the home crowd). I'd heard some decent buzz about it myself and am always up for trying something that looks edgier than the average bear in Sussex, so off we went (even though I had a BBQ later in the day that basically had all of the food that was provided at this establishment - that's on me for sure). The entrance was a little hard to figure out; initially we went to the front of the building but there wasn't an obvious entryway and we belatedly figured out it was on the side. Some extra signage in that regard could go a long way, but not the biggest deal. We got inside, and that's what matters. Very clean and spacious, with some Western/patriotic themes; I can always get down with some longhorn displays and whatnot. The business model/ordering system is a little odd in that it almost offers too many methods, if that makes sense. It seemed like you could get normal table service, but there was also a counter where I think you could place a normal order, or a kiosk at the front to do so, OR a QR code at the table. Lot going on, and ambivalent on what to make of it overall - I guess it's better to have more options in theory, but I thought it was unnecessarily chaotic/confusing. We opted for the scanning of the QR code at the table, which was fine. My chum didn't realize you could tilt the QR display to get a better angle for your phone, but I'm certainly not going to blame Burger and Butcher for that 10 seconds of chaos. By far our biggest issue was the price point. Neither one of us is averse to spending money when the situation arises, but this was pretty egregious to the point where it really tainted the whole experience. We both got a burger and split an order of fries. That was the meal. Now, full disclosure, we got the "better" burger, the Waygu, which was 4 ounces and $15. Not worth it. I think part of is the smash burger of it all, but I definitely didn't notice the allegedly higher quality cattle involved, and I got it plain so no condiments to distract the palate from the essence of the bovine. I would 100% just go for the cheaper burger here, which is $10. The accompanying fries were fine (some were squishier than others, and those found their way closer to my chum for her consumption) but cost a separate $8. It reminded me of Zinburger, which probably isn't around anymore because they constantly gauged you with additional costs for sides like this. And THIS was wild - if you wanted ketchup? No problem. If you wanted literally any other sauce featured on the menu, just a little container of it? At least an extra $2. At a certain point, it's less about the price and more about the principle. And again - nothing we had was significantly better than what you'd get at Five Guys or Smashburger and for the price it should be. The staff was perfectly nice and since this is basically higher-end fast food, our meals came within five or 10 minutes. Fine on that front. But if I want to spend $30 for a burger and side (which is what this came down to, including tip)? I'm just going to go to a nicer, sit-down restaurant with more options and better food. Disappointing and I hope they really reconsider the pricing structure because in this inflationary environment, you're alienating potential customers before they even get to sample the animals.
