I've tried this place over the last year and it's been hit or miss. More miss than hit. HOWEVER, recently I began following their social media again and noticed a big change so decided to give it one last try. I'm glad I did because I experienced a massive improvement. The burger I ordered was outstanding! The bartenders were very attentive and took care of me right away. I live in town and always wanted a place like this to call "my spot" and now I feel with certainty that I can. The venue design is like a museum. I always spot something new every time I go. A cool hip place! Stopped here on my way back from the area and decided to get some dinner. I will say this place was lacking in the menu for vegetarian items. I asked if they can sub things in and out and they said no which was frustrating and I was stuck getting something I didn't really want. They should have had more options or been able to customize. The service also took forever for us to get drinks, food etc. It seems like a lot of the reviews have similar sentiments so I hope they take these into account! read more

Ordered cheese burger which was not bad. Bun was cold & fell apart like it was stale. Same thing on two friends on my table. So for three overpriced burgers it was not a good experience. Had a coke for $12 which was 3/4 ice so the glass had about you would have from 2 dental spit cups. Never was offered refill on drink or on coffee ($4.50). No intentions to return for overpriced cold food. read more

First time to go to this place , I'm very pleased of the cleanliness and courteous team members . My friend and I went there around 8:20pm they're about to close around 9pm and they still let us dine in .. Food is reasonably priced considering it's delicious and presentable. We just had dinner at Industry. Great experience! An out-of-town visitor wanted steak so we decided to try Industry on the recommendation of a friend. Because it was chilly, we asked our waitress Christina to be reseated. She accommodated us and we were in the dining room all by ourselves. Could not have asked for better service! Outstanding skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and beef tallow fries. My companion's cheeseburger was excellent. Overall one of the best meals ever. Highly recommend the restaurant and Christina's attention to detail. read more

The food was delicious and the service was great as well. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere of the place is spacious, clean lots of daylight which is always a great thing. My only negative remark is the cleaning product that they use to clean the tables is very strong. As ppl left in the tables next to us as they were cleaning the tables the scent of that spray was sooo overwhelming that you could taste it in your mouth. read more

I have been here for dinner a few times earlier and had given them a glowing review. The service was great, food was fantastic, and overall, it was a little gem to find. Today was the first time back since October of 2024 and I thought a Mothers Day dinner was a nice surprise. It was! What a change! Service was slow, portions were small, meal quality was lacking and I was deeply shocked from what I had experienced before. I'm not complaining about the staff because they seem overworked and spread thin. It was a holiday, but if you are accepting reservations for seating, a business that charges higher prices for its food and drinks, should be prepared and planning to give the customers, especially the mothers, a fantastic experience on their day. Gave this new restaurant a try last night. My in-laws tried it the night before and said they really enjoyed it. The decor is very cool, modern. The bar is huge and the chairs are comfy. We went a bit before our reservation time so that we could sit at the bar for a drink. I had the "Spinning Jenny" ($15) which was very pretty and tasty but maybe a little too sweet. My husband had the "Railmen, Engineers & Dockmen" ($25 because he asked for Angels Envy Rye) which was made with a fun presentation by smoking it and he said it was very good. For an appetizer we had the Lobster Mac & Cheese. This was delicious! For dinner I ordered the sea bass. My mother-in-law had this the night before and said it was delicious. The fish was very good as were the vegetables but 1/3 of the plate was crispy fried onions? (Like French's onions that you'd put on green bean casserole.) On the menu I believe it said fried leeks. And looking at the photo my mother-in-law took of her plate I see that it is definitely different. Maybe they ran out of leeks so decided to substitute with the onions? Poor substitution as these are very salty and overpowering. I ate everything except the fried onions. I'll put a picture of what she had the night before and then what I was given. My husband wanted to order the pork chop but they were out, so instead he ordered the skirt steak with duck fat fries. The steak was very tender and tasty but he was disappointed with the fries. They looked and tasted like McDonald's fries. If you're spending $42 on a skirt steak it should really come with something that doesn't taste like McDonald's fries... The feel of the restaurant is hard to pinpoint. It is very loud and has a sports bar vibe but at the same time it's like it's trying to be elegant. The high ceilings and way that the sound echos makes me think of loud restaurants that typically I'd want to bring my little kids to since they wouldn't be disruptive if they're noisy.. but kids aren't allowed. Did we enjoy the meal overall? Yes. Would we go back? Probably not for dinner. I think I'd go for a drink at the bar with friends. Dinner just was ok for the price point. read more

It's about time o wrote a review of Industry. My hubby and I come here about 1-2X a month and we think their Industry Double down burger is the best in the area! Yea it's Pat LaFrieda (IYKYK!) and double patty and delish sauce and cheese and caramelized onions ... so goood. My hubby has them hold the sauce and cheese and still thinks it's the best. Their char is perfect. A sign of a well seasoned grill. The staff are great. Always willing to offer a custom cocktail, beer tasting (which if you see their list, you may need to try a few), or nice glass of wine. My hubby loves the variety of bourbons... it really is the best place and if you go during their "Guest Appreciation" time the burger is half off. Perfection!! And if you don't trust me, you'll just have to try it for yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you ! read more

After seeing the reviews I was having second thoughts about our reservation but I'm glad we went. The food and service were amazing. The server was so quick friendly and knew her stuff. Tried Industry in Sparta, NJ 3 times in the last year. Kept hoping they'd improve upon what they started. Nope. It's only gotten worse. This last visit, fried calamari was so dry and densely breaded (like a cheap Red Lobster joint) that you could not even taste any calamari. The marinara sauce served w/the calamari was watered down (??!!that's what it tasted like!!!) and totally tasteless. A smash burger ordered medium came out so rare that it may have not even been cooked. What are the excuses? We don't care about the price, only about taste, quality and ingenuity. They fail all three of these. I wish I could like their food but, it's not happening. read more

I'd start by saying get a host who can politely sit their customers without giving attitude - I should have left when I got barked at. I'm still confused. I'm also baffled with the prices and portion sizes of steak that we ordered. Disappointing because me heard so many good things about this place but I won't be coming back. I was a little shocked and disappointed by this place. We came from NYC out to Sparta for a dance competition. The decor was funky industrial and the server was super nice and attentive. We were surprised to look at the menu and see $15 drinks and $35-$60 entrees as if we were in Manhattan. The specials even included a $150 Tomahawk steak. It was late afternoon and we weren't wanting a huge dinner before driving back to the city so we ordered sandwiches. The expensive pricing would have been ok if the food lived up to it. My "ribeye steak" sandwich appeared and tasted to be nothing more than a steakum. Someone else in our party had an $18 burger that was small and unimpressive. I would imagine if you live in the area and are looking for the place to be on a Saturday night this must be the place and that's why the locals are willing to pay. Otherwise, don't do it. read more

This restaurant can be described in one word, PRETENTIOUS. Others have talked about the décor - thumbs up and the price - thumbs down (our meal $200), so no need for me to elaborate on those points. We were two people and we ordered three items and all three items were failures and I would never order them again. We were here during lunch on a Tuesday with maybe two other tables of customers in the entire place, so there was no reason that our food should not come out from the kitchen the best it can. We ordered the following: The confit bacon wrapped scallops with greens, which was 4 nicely cooked scallops but then wrapped in over cooked crispy bacon that took away the taste from the nicely prepared scallops, the greens had a dressing on it which was way too salty. The fried calamari in a sweet chili Thai sauce that you get from any Asian grocery store in a bottle with again some greens. This dish was all tossed together, so all you can taste is the Thai sauce. The 20oz double cut NY strip black angus dry aged with summer vegetables, the steak came sliced up already with the veg and the entire meal was lukewarm at best and this is after giving the server instructions to make sure the food is hot when it comes to our table. After sending back the dish to be heated up the veg came back hot but the steak was still only warm. We had 2 glasses of white wine and 2 glasses of red wine. I would never eat here again and never recommend this place. This place reminds me of the saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. It was just such a "PRETENTIOUS" experience never to be repeated. Side Notes - prior to coming here I already new that the prices were outrageous and there were bad reviews of the place. The other factor was that this business lunch was being paid by the person who invited me, other wise I would never step into this place knowing what I already knew about this place. read more

First, Antiques - yeah right. Limited menu. Not much food for the $ . The skinniest fries I have ever encountered, & greasy. Service, eh. Requested at least a pickle or some Cole slaw but to no avail. Left hungry. While seated , cleaning person spraying chemical cleaner on nearby tables. Have to say we really enjoyed our visit and the food was excellent. Short rib special great. Friendly wait staff. Interesting atmosphere. All nice but the prices are just way too high and really hurts this review. If the prices were not so exorbitant this place would be a 4.5 easy. We loved everything but will not return because of them. Our bill for 2 of the lower priced items was $140 at lunch ( they don't seem to have a different lunch/dinner menu) . Just Opened and is it ever beautiful but pricey. One of the greatest steaks you'll find in NJ. Appears to be an adult only clientele. Beautiful and trendy. Loved the atmosphere, was meeting up with High school friends. There were six of us. I did notice on the menu that there will be gratuity added with parties of 8 or more. being in the industry I thought it weird that the manager on duty brought over the check and asked if everything was OK and we said it was great thank you very much. He proceeds to tell us gratuity was added.. I always tip 25% when my experience was as well as today was!!!! The thought of this waitress to tell manager she wants to add gratuity blows my mind and for the establishment to do so makes it even more disturbing. Check your checks!!!! read more

Scallops ($35) had gritty sand with every bite, along with a flavorless sauce. The truffled short rib grilled cheese was just good, stacked with three slices of bread ($28). Finally my husband had a breaded pork chop ($36) and the meat had a sour taste. We both wondered if it was going bad...very unappetizing. Worth noting that entrees aren't served with anything. When my sister and I entered Industry, it was quite cool. All of the windows were open and the air conditioning was on. This was our first visit and were told nothing could be done about the temp., until our waitress, Christina, came over to the table. We told her how cold we were and she immediately offered to seat us in a different section and closed the doors there. We had been on the verge of leaving until Christina did everything in her power to make us comfortable. We had an amazing dinner and our experience was great, because of her!
