There was a small buffet available with a drink included. The service was appreciated and friendly. I had everything on the buffet line except the scrambled eggs, and some sweets being served. They had fruit, chicken Francese, linguini with shrimp and clams, penne vodka, bacon, sausage links, potatoes, and French toast along with an omelet station. The fruit was inconsistent, but that sometimes with fruit I suppose. The chicken was alright, very tender, but the sauce was a little plain. The linguini was solid, just tough shrimp pieces, lots of flavor with the sauce though. The penne vodka was alright while the bacon and sausage links were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked well while the French toast was surprisingly my favorite item. It was sweet and cooked to my liking. The omelet was also pleasant as I opted for a ham, cheese, and tomato one. Will I go back? Possibly.

Our bartendress was nice and sassy. Second warning: Do not use the jukebox. It will drown out everyone and leave your ears ringing for days. Those would be maybe $7 nearby at Johnnie's. The strangeness came as we got to the 4th quarter, when the bartendress disappeared. The two guys left basically ignored us. Sure, we weren't asking for drinks (which is generally how you get their attention)... but she would point to us when she saw our glasses empty, and they didn't. Also... we had an open tab that they weren't asking about. We totally could have left. Turns out the tab was actually closed! So they called her on the phone to bring her back inside, enter the tabs for a couple of us, and then close them out. Bizarre. Quirky local place, but I'll leave it for the locals.
