    Tandoori Chicken Keto Bowl
    Storm C.

I love their food! I have yet to get something from here that I didn't love. Their curry lamb - amazing! Their tandoori keto bowl - SO good and spicy and I usually have enough for another meal the next day. Their mango lassi is also yummy. My bf enjoyed their chicken vindaloo. I've tried at least four different meals here and I'm aiming to try something new next.

I keep Yelpin' even though I often feel unqualified to review a place after only one visit, and in this case my Yelper Imposter Syndrome is strong. But I'll forge ahead, anyway, in an attempt to overcome my confidence demons. :) First impressions are important! To be clear, this is another DoorDash review; normally the Dash experience adversely affects the meal, even if it's only because I have to deal with the bulky, wasteful styrofoam or a less crispy item. But Asian food in general lends itself to delivery, with its already moist rice and super saucy main event, so I figured this was a safe bet. And, in this case, my DoorDasher was a superstar, grabbing my food the second it was ready and booking down Olden Avenue into Hamilton in record time. Indigrill gets efficiency points too, for sure. I had a strong hankering for Indian the night of my order, and the hankering became a disappointed longing afterward, even after eating my butter chicken, rice, and naan across two days. The establishment gets a star for a lovely and fragrant long grain rice: the perfume hit my nose and made me smile, hopefully. The naan, cut in half, was large - probably 12 inches in diameter, studded with bits of garlic and other herbs. Promising. But the main course was a letdown, unfortunately. Serviceable. Warm. Not unpleasant. But it can be summed up as such: a few chunks of tough chicken swimming in a bland tomato sauce. While I'm far from a connoisseur, I've had a lot of Indian food - it's one of my favorite cuisines. We are so fortunate to have so many great Indian establishments in the area. I am partial to the dishes without too much heat as long as they are well-seasoned with depth of flavor. I'm not exactly sure what Indigrill's butter chicken was missing but it was definitely flat. Maybe some saffron, or more garlic, or even just a bit more salt and butter would have helped? It's hard to say, but it was quick lackluster. Aforementioned rice was just fine; same with the naan. Looked and smelled better than the taste in both cases, but I wasn't disappointed with either. I ordered from Indigrill because it has a high rating, but I would not go back again on purpose, unless I was right there and starving. I'd definitely try a different dish; the menu looks varied and the pictures are appealing, so maybe I ordered on an off night.

Food is ok. Service sucks. Kumar the guy in the front had an attitude when I asked what comes on the wrap. He told me to look at the picture on the door. I said the picture does not tell me what's on the wrap sir that's why I I'm asking you. If I had more options and I wasn't on my lunch break Kumar's demeanor was enough for me to buy food else where. After I told him his service sucked and I received better service when they first opened as opposed to now he didn't really care. I am African American. I watched a Caucasian customer come in the store while I was waiting for my food and the service he received from Kumar was a lot better than the service I received.

The price was not reflected in the food I got. I paid around $18 for a very small portion. The service was so slow and many people who came in after me left before I did even when they ordered more food than I did. I got there at 1:15 and didn't leave until 2:00 and I had a mobile order. I only had one order of butter chicken and it did not have any flavor at all.

Maybe it was because I came in around 3 in the afternoon, but my experience at Indigrill in Ewing, NJ, was pretty lousy. Let me count the ways. 1. Although nearly empty of customers, there was trash on some tables, the floor and the shelves near the soda machine and trash receptacle. 2. The Bollywood dance music videos played extra loud and on a nonstop loop from the TV high on the dining room wall. 3. The food counterman was pleasant, but the choices he had to work with were fairly limited, with only chicken, lamb and beef and three sauces available. 4. When I sat at one of their high table stools and began to eat from the biodegradable bowl and plastic spork, I found the meats room temperature at best, the chicken stringy and the lamb low quality with fat and hard spit outs. 5. The sauces were likewise cool, although they did have the right taste. 6. Ultimately, there was more brown rice in the bottom of the bowl than all the other ingredients combined. 7. What? No naan?! It just wasn't very good and not worth the calories ingested, nor the more than $10 price with the sugary drinks. I am not a fan of Chipotle Mexican Grill for its lack of authenticity and the comparison to the multitude of excellent Latin American restaurant with high quality offerings that abound in Central Jersey. The same is true for assembly line Indian cuisine. With all the wonderful South Asian houses within a 10 mile radius of here, why would anyone choose this poor copy of that bountiful and varied colorfully spiced deeply curried food? The answer to that eternal question? No one with a working pallette and taste buds would, unless they were on a student budget that allows them to be abused by this low end excuse for fast food. This place is atrocious.

Terrible chicken karma the chicken was chicken thighs not even cut up, asked for was bland hardly any flavor
    Bonnie T.

No utensils only spoons to try and eat large chicken thighs in sauce. No indoor seating was told only when tcnj college students come back in September what about the rest of the community don't we count? The chicken karma had hardly any favor. I was asked how spicey I want it I said mild to medium it was do bland I would have been better off with karma sauce from supermarket. The rice and garlic nanan bread were good. The items for the fill a bowl looked old and it was only 1:30pm when we came there for lunch. My husband order the fill a bowl he said it was ok. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Well this place was favorite Indian restaurant and then for the last year it just went into a nose dive. Last year they were mixing the sauces stuffing the containers with meat, and over cooking everything. They must have fired the chef for gave them a stern talking to because it's back to all its glory. The last 3 orders have been perfectly amazing. Welcome back indigrill!!

Located off Nottingham Way in Hamilton, Bombay Feast is a a fast casual type of Indian street food…read moreeatery. I've been there twice and can't in good conscience call it a restaurant as service (1.5/5) is the bare minimum, where you have to get up to get your own water, and aren't once asked if you want beverages or desserts. Nobody checks in on you to ask how the food is or if you want anything else, yet they still mandate a 12% service charge after some mystery 3% fee they impose on everything on the menu except their parathas (prior to calculating the tax and service fee). A scrupulous business adds any fees on the subtotal of the menu price, but here you wind up paying extra tax and service charge on the additional 3% which is tacked onto the menu price, which I assume is a credit card fee. Doing the math, they're collecting an extra 3% in both tax and service charge as well, so customer beware. You aren't given a check at the end of your meal, so you have to walk up to the front podium to pay on a tablet (not a fan of this practice), where you're given a few awkward seconds to stare at your bill, and unsuspecting customers won't have time to analyze the charges, and will likely wind up paying both the service charge and additional gratuity for the very minimal service provided. We've ordered various parathas (3.5/5), the chole bhature (4/5), butter chicken (2.5/5), pav bhaji dosa (3.5/5), and naan (3/5) over 2 visits. The parathas and pav bhaji dosa were excellent on one visit, but unreasonably spicy on the next visit, so they need to work on consistency of their spice levels. The chole bhature was good, and served with a massively sized bhature, which was greatly appreciated and more than enough for the chole provided. I would stay away from the usual North Indian food menu items as they're overpriced (above $20) and not that good compared to other Hamilton area Indian restaurants. The gravy for the butter chicken was underwhelming average, and not something I'd order again. Their wheelhouse for tasty food seems to be the parathas, dosas, and snack food/quick eats types of items. While the cook in the kitchen is decent, the lack of service and mystery charges really detracts from the overall experience, so I won't be back and would not recommend Bombay Feast to others. They really need to hire an additional person with customer service skills to attend to guests to ask if they want water/drinks, desserts, additional food items, and check in to ask how everything was. We had to proactively wipe down our dirty table, ask for additional utensils, and get our own water. On my 2nd visit, they took it upon themselves to add an additional gratuity on top of the service charge, which really rubbed us the wrong way as we analyzed their payment screen on their tablet and asked for a printed receipt; we noticed it a few days later when checking the credit card charge. They seemed genuinely apologetic about it and refunded us the extra amount via Venmo when we called them up to question it, but that really left a bad impression on us. I'd add this to my growing list of highly overrated Indian eateries popping up in NJ with a somewhat decent kitchen, but major disregard for proper customer service.
