I've lived in this area for years and can't believe I only just discovered this hidden gem! The menu is incredibly extensive -- from Indian street food and Indo-Chinese favorites to a wide variety of classic curries, they truly have something for everyone. Their paratha selection is impressive, with plenty of options and even the ability to customize flavors and fillings to your liking. If you're craving authentic Bombay-style Indian food, this place is a must-visit. And let me say this clearly -- if you don't try the vada pav here, you're seriously missing out! With such a diverse paratha menu, it's also an ideal brunch spot. Located off Nottingham Way in Hamilton, Bombay Feast is a a fast casual type of Indian street food eatery. I've been there twice and can't in good conscience call it a restaurant as service (1.5/5) is the bare minimum, where you have to get up to get your own water, and aren't once asked if you want beverages or desserts. Nobody checks in on you to ask how the food is or if you want anything else, yet they still mandate a 12% service charge after some mystery 3% fee they impose on everything on the menu except their parathas (prior to calculating the tax and service fee). A scrupulous business adds any fees on the subtotal of the menu price, but here you wind up paying extra tax and service charge on the additional 3% which is tacked onto the menu price, which I assume is a credit card fee. Doing the math, they're collecting an extra 3% in both tax and service charge as well, so customer beware. You aren't given a check at the end of your meal, so you have to walk up to the front podium to pay on a tablet (not a fan of this practice), where you're given a few awkward seconds to stare at your bill, and unsuspecting customers won't have time to analyze the charges, and will likely wind up paying both the service charge and additional gratuity for the very minimal service provided. We've ordered various parathas (3.5/5), the chole bhature (4/5), butter chicken (2.5/5), pav bhaji dosa (3.5/5), and naan (3/5) over 2 visits. The parathas and pav bhaji dosa were excellent on one visit, but unreasonably spicy on the next visit, so they need to work on consistency of their spice levels. The chole bhature was good, and served with a massively sized bhature, which was greatly appreciated and more than enough for the chole provided. I would stay away from the usual North Indian food menu items as they're overpriced (above $20) and not that good compared to other Hamilton area Indian restaurants. The gravy for the butter chicken was underwhelming average, and not something I'd order again. Their wheelhouse for tasty food seems to be the parathas, dosas, and snack food/quick eats types of items. While the cook in the kitchen is decent, the lack of service and mystery charges really detracts from the overall experience, so I won't be back and would not recommend Bombay Feast to others. They really need to hire an additional person with customer service skills to attend to guests to ask if they want water/drinks, desserts, additional food items, and check in to ask how everything was. We had to proactively wipe down our dirty table, ask for additional utensils, and get our own water. On my 2nd visit, they took it upon themselves to add an additional gratuity on top of the service charge, which really rubbed us the wrong way as we analyzed their payment screen on their tablet and asked for a printed receipt; we noticed it a few days later when checking the credit card charge. They seemed genuinely apologetic about it and refunded us the extra amount via Venmo when we called them up to question it, but that really left a bad impression on us. I'd add this to my growing list of highly overrated Indian eateries popping up in NJ with a somewhat decent kitchen, but major disregard for proper customer service. read more

I noticed this restaurant about a year ago while driving by. When I looked it up it seemed to be entirely vegetarian. I made a mental note to give it a try when craving dosa. Recently I noticed a photo and review mentioning meat dishes, when I looked at the website they indeed have a small section devoted to carnivores, this brought them to the forefront of my list. After work on a Friday I grabbed a takeout here. Zarani Murgh(chicken!) aloo paratha and veg samosas. The order was nicely packed so I dare not disturb it until I was home. The paratha came in a med sized pizza box, the bread part was perfect and the filling very tasty and more than is usually included when I order this elsewhere. This was the best I've encountered in this area and will reorder next visit. The veg Samosa was good too, similar potato filling as the bread but with a few veggies. The chicken dish seemed to be tandoori but had been liberally covered in yellow curry. There was not much of a sauce and no rice was included. I used the paratha to scoop up pieces of the boneless and juicy white meat that had been bathed in the curry. There were also cooked onions that went nicely. The raita was tangy and thick. This was a very generous portion too. I didn't get a great look at the interior but it seems to have been updated from the last failed restaurant. Customer service was quick and friendly. I think it was wise of them to include a few non veg dishes. I'm planning to eat in next time but will also resort to takeout. Sept 11, 2025 review: We picked up no. 37 which is Aloo gobhi paneer spring onion jalapeno and no. 30 which contains paneer spinach methi jalapeno. We reached right around closing time but the restaurant owner was nice enough to take our order and make the parantha fresh when we reached there. Restroom were clean and maintained. Restaurent sitting ambience was also nice. They have couple of tables for outdoor seating as well and that area is very lit too. Our parantha came with pickle and raita. It remained hot when we ate them almost 30 mins after picking up. They provide parantha in a pizza box which I found unique. I only wish they have provided little bit more quantity for raita and pickle for two parantha worth. Rest everything was perfect. Parantha filling were spread evenly so it was not tight at any location and soft throughout. read more

Bombay Feast was delivered to our door for dinner last night, and I found myself both delighted and puzzled. My wife ordered her standard Butter Chicken, which in our house is as dependable as sunrise. Their version was delicious, touched by an unusual sweetness I had never encountered in the dish before. It was different in a way that made me smile. What made me frown was the portion. Seven small slices of chicken thigh floating in the sauce. Seven. That was all. There were so few of them that counting was easy. The taste was worthy of praise but the serving was too stingy for the price. I ordered Zarani Murgh because the description on the menu was spelled so badly that it seemed like a secret invitation written only for me. Due to my own ignorance, I expected a curry. What I received was grilled chicken, onions, carrots, and cabbage, seasoned with care and cooked with confidence. It was excellent, and this time there was plenty of chicken to go around. The naan was naan, no more and no less. The rice that came along was notably small in size, as if measured with a teaspoon. I would not make an issue of it if the rest of the meal had been more generous, but it made the lack of balance more noticeable. The food here is undeniably tasty. The prices are higher than average, and the Butter Chicken's portion size in particular did not earn its cost. Even with an eight dollar coupon the math did not quite add up. I believe in quality over quantity, but this equation felt off. I will try Bombay Feast again. Perhaps dining in will bring the experience into better focus. For now, I call it very good food that does not yet replace the Indian restaurants we usually frequent. read more

The maki roti was a little hard and the one at Kesar perhaps a lot more flavorful. The paratha was an excellent. The 8$ price for a single paratha however may be on the pricey side. Another great option for Indian food and Hamilton. However, be warned that although DoorDash shows they have non-vegetarian options, it appears to be incorrect and Bombay Feast is vegetarian only. For example, I ordered the dinner platter which DoorDash described as "Shish kabab, two pieces of chicken tikka, and one piece of tandoori chicken." This place is a must! With its close proximity to the Aksharadham temple this is a perfect place to dine in after the temple. The food is to die for. It's is so full of flavors and the portions were excellent. The service is awesome and very efficient. As you walk in, you are greeted with the delicious and mouth watering aroma of food and spices which makes you even more hungry. As a vegetarian, I loved the variety and flavor at Bombay Feast Paratha House: the Khasta Kachori, Vada Pav, dosas, and paneer dishes were all outstanding. This food is shockingly delicious! When I walked in to order take out, the staff couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. Such sweet people. This food is authentically Indian and fresh. I ordered the samosas, a veg/chickpea biryani, an onion masala dosa, and a gobi/spinach paratha. It was all absolutely fantastic. This is the best Indian food in central Jersey and rivals anything you'd get in Edison, Woodbridge, Jersey City, NYC or any other majorly Indian-populated cities here. 6/5 stars! Highly recommend!
