Can it recall name of this okra dish. Too mild.

Tried this for the first time wanting to like it but it was bland at best. The flavor profile was lacking, not spicy at all. I like to eat Indian food that is bursting with spices and while I could see they used cumin and some turmeric, I couldn't taste the garlic or ginger that was advertised with my dish. The chai was good, but came in a small cup with no refills. My friend that I ate with was vomiting within hours after eating a chicken dish. Maybe it was just a coincidence. The service was decent, server was friendly. Place looked clean. But I go out to eat delicious food that I'm not skilled at making at home, not boring, expensive food.

We went here for the lunch buffet at 1 in the afternoon. There was no one else there. The restaurant was very clean. We tried every dish the buffet offered. I am not a fan of Indian food because the spices are too much for me. I could eat every single dish because there was no heat whatsoever. The flavors were very unique though and delicious. The rice was burnt and crunchy. There wasn't much meat in the dishes. The naan bread is not like normal naan bread and was crunchy and greasy. It was worth the cost but not what we would call normal Indian heat and flavors.

I am not in any way trying to be mean the waitress was nice... the food was disappointing to say the least. I literally had to try the CHICKEN TIKI MASALA twice to make sure i was actually eating something. It was so insanely flavorless... it's Chicken tiki masala... one of the most flavor filled dishes i've ever tried. The chutney was also a let down... chutney is one of my favorite things on earth. I wouldn't even consider it as "Indian" cuisine. The service was very slow. Again not trying to shit on this place but I do not want others to be let down in the way we have been. In the picture is our finished meal because it was that intolerable.

    Multiple servings from buffet.

I ate there recently for lunch. It is a buffet style. $20. Multiple dishes, a salad, and garlic naan. Spice level is about a 2/5 for most dishes. A few was 4/5. The waiter came around several times to make sure the group was satisfied.

    Lunch buffet bar

We were here on Sunday for the lunch buffet. Food was very good, had good variety of curry. My favorite was the lamb curry and mint chutney. $15 per person and mango lassi is included. What a great deal

This place has an amazing lunch buffet. I'm celiac (gluten free) and Staff members walked me through every single dish and what was in it. All the sauces were gluten free. Food was great. It's not very spicy Indian food but it is flavorful. I think this place is super up and coming. Only two buffet items were not gluten free because they couldn't guarantee the fryer wasn't gluten free. Lastly, the bar looks amazing! They said they will probably start a happy hour soon when they hire more staff.

    Buffet!

I had the buffet last Thursday. I loved the food!! There were some nice creamy and tasty curries. I enjoyed every dish I had and will definitely be back when I'm back in the area.

Chicken Takka Masala and a Vegetarian choice with smashed eggplant!

Reservation confirmation said, that door opens at 6:30pm and dinner service starts at 7pm. Phew, I'm sometimes bad with predicting the traffic patterns, so that gives you a little cushion. AND I arrived at 6:30pm on the dot. Ha! Plenty of street parking, but I wasn't sure I was in the right place since there was no sign. But, the building's number is clearly marked. So I stepped inside. There was music playing from the back of the building and I just kept moving towards the music. After 2 doorways, my husband remarked it was like we were entering a speakeasy. We stepped into a living room and proceeded through another doorway to find an open kitchen and jaw dropping red alder dining table. Standing in the kitchen was Chef Riley Eckersley and he greeted us like we were old friends. He had a couple of cocktails ready to pour and explained his concept of his place that has only been open for 3 weeks. Imagine an intimate dinner party (6 guests the night I was there) gathering for conversation while being taken on a culinary journey around Oregon. Throughout the evening, every detail was carefully curated, from the ingredients (from the coast to the mountains, he covered every corner), to the plating, music, and drinks (everything from mezcal, sake, orange wine, etc). The whole experience lasts 2 1/2-3 hours and I enjoyed every minute. I will certainly return as the menu changes with the seasons of Oregon. We began the evening as strangers, and ended as close friends.

Lunch is a good time to go cuz they have both lunch specials (for simpler meals if not craving a boil in a bag) & happy hour specials. Likely not as busy as weekend nights too. Can attest that ordering at the "dynamite" level of spiciness could be too hot for many diners. Food was delicious and the robot server is adorably polite. Only minor complaint were the portions of the corn, potatoes & sausage (basically a few slices of hot dog). Given the prices at this seafood restaurant, and the low cost of corn, potatoes & hot dog, why not increase the size of these items?! Star lost for portion size. Place isn't fancy but staff are friendly & prompt.

We had a reservation and they took us in a few minutes early and sat us upstairs. We sat near the window that overlooks the harbor and could see it from our table. Very pretty. There is a bar area and other tables that are away from the window that don't have the same view. When we were approached by the waitress, she informed us that they were out of Dungeness crab. Our reservation was at 6:15 PM. Seems a bit odd that a town known for Dungeness crab and the restaurant doesn't have it during peak dinner hours. My husband ordered a cup of clam chowder, and I ordered a cup of the Dungeness crab soup. I loved the creaminess of my soup. However, it was not served hot. Also, there were so many shells in my soup that every bite I had to remove one from my mouth. I do believe that the roux sauce had too much flour and was not mixed well. The clam chowder was not creamy, but had a good flavor. Chunks of carrot and celery. Both soups were served with a portion of bread. The bread was good. We shared the salmon dish. We asked our waitress if we could have the peas on the side as my husband has an allergy to peas. She was quick to tell me that there would be no substitutions. I informed her I was merely asking for the peas to put on a separate dish when brought to the table. She said that she would need to clear it with the kitchen first. Apparently, they approved, as the peas were served on the side. We did enjoy the salmon. It is cooked, medium rare. However, the middle of the salmon fillet was more rare. The buttery sauce was delicious and the asparagus was cooked very well. The mushrooms were delicious. The restaurant is very casual. The outside is not much to look at. The service was fine, but not exceptional. The food was good, but my expectations were so much higher for all of the accolades I had heard prior to dining. They add an automatic tip of 20% to every tab. Then on the bill, they politely ask for an additional gratuity. See the picture of the reason for their 20% gratuity on each bill in the photos that I have attached. I would give this restaurant four stars. It is a B rating for what should be an A restaurant.
