We expected more & were disappointed. The owner was quite rude, but her daughter seemed sweet and shy.

Both were outstanding and way better than I expected. To be honest, the pasta dish was one of the best I have ever had and this is one dish that I am critical of because I have had really good Jambalaya pasta and some bad ones. This one was way way up there. The sausage was excellent and the chicken and shrimp were perfect, but the sauce made the dish. I can not wait to have it again. The whole staff was friendly and our waitress was excellent and very helpful. My only regret was not asking for a window seat when we got there. We had a reservation and there was a table by the window that was open, but we got seated by the entrance. A couple that walked in after us with no reservation got the table by the window which was odd. Again, not a deal breaker and I should have asked to sit there. I definitely would not hesitate to eat here again or recommend it to everyone. I am looking forward to the next visit.

The caprese was great alongside-- I was already full and still housed the house made focaccia and pesto, truly so incredible. for our main we split the cajun salmon with pico de gallo, mashed potatoes, and side caesar salad. delicious!!! I don't even really like caesar salad that much, and theirs is top notch. they split our plate for an extra $3 and it was plenty after appetizers. lastly, interiors: our table was perfect. they sat us right by the window on the water for sunset. I was only in florence for the night and can tell this is the best spot in town!

We were brought to a table with a lovely view of the water and took our time with the menu. Our server had a trainee with her and was very kind and patient with her. We ordered the shrimp artichoke dip as an appetizer, the crispy chicken burger with onion rings, and the cod sandwich with clam chowder. The dip was so good! It was very oily, a little too oily for my taste, but the flavor was fantastic and it wasn't fishy at all. I do wish they gave us more bread, though, as we ran out and still had dip leftover. The chicken sandwich was good, but the chicken was too small so some bites were just bun and lettuce. The onion rings were fine but needed more salt and seasoning. The chowder was alright but was oily and a bit gritty. I've had better clam chowder down the street for sure. The staff were busy but nice. We weren't left alone for too long. I did wish we were given water refills, the whole meal we only had one glass of water each which isn't enough when you are eating salty seafood. The restaurant was pretty clean and tables were turning over quickly. They have their own dedicated parking lot, but if you can't find a spot there is also plenty of street parking. All in all this was a fine place to eat. It was fairly affordable for a tourist town, but it was pretty oily. The dip was the best part, even with how oily it was. Without the dip this would have been a 3-star visit, but the dip definitely bumped it up a bit.

The unique mix of decorations and the adaptable tables and benches give the place a one-of-a-kind charm. I highly recommend it if you enjoy a vibrant dining atmosphere. The customer service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and impressively fast without ever making us feel rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience. Now, the food--starting with the chowder. It was delicious, packed with large chunks of potato and generously sized clams. A very solid start to the meal. The French fries were cooked perfectly crispy, though a bit on the bland side--definitely better with ketchup. The salad, on the other hand, was a standout. Easily a 10/10. The shrimp were great, and the freshness and crispness of the greens really made it shine. For the main courses, the shrimp melt was fantastic--great portion size and loaded with both cheese and shrimp. They definitely didn't skimp. The shrimp skewers with fettuccine Alfredo were absolutely amazing and full of flavor. Lastly, the fish tacos had some highs and lows. The portion size was great, and both the sauce and salsa were very enjoyable. However, the fish itself was a bit bland and relied on the toppings to carry the flavor. Overall, I loved my experience and would absolutely recommend checking this place out!

Not greasy and not dried out. Just enough for the 3 of us to get our taste buds going. The elk burger was so tasty and juicy with a flavor that left us craving more. Medium rare with added avocado was the perfect mix. The burger was not so filling that you got the after burger taste and wouldn't have room for anything else. The Marionberry Crisp topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was enough for us to share at the end as well. Headed up perfectly and delicious! The service was great and the wait time was not long to get a table. Outdoor seating is also available and the inside keeps it nice and cozy for small parties or the occasional big family feasts. We'll definitely stop back here again!

Finally, with friends visiting from Washington, we made a special trip up to Reedsport, just to try it out. Best dining experience for a long time, for each of us! We called in for reservations, and the host nabbed us a table by the window, with an incredible view out across the bay. Upon arrival, Ron greeted us like we were family, and promptly offered us a tour of this very unique facility. The remains of a retired Coast Guard cutter, the entry way brings you into what looks to be a steel galleyway. Portholes peek through to the bar area and dining rooms. Up top, guests can reserve a private dining room, built from the original Bridge Cabin of the ship! Ron's original artwork adorned the walls of the place, and were quite unique - definitely adds to the decor. We sat down with the menu, and were pleased with the excellent variety of items available. We started off with the Clams Portuguese appetizer, and all LOVED it! In my opinion, it could have included a few more wheels of the Linguica, but the flavor was perfect. The drinks menu was very inviting, but considering that we were all extending our Dry January tradition, opted to try them on another visit. For our main course, my partner ordered the Beef Stroganoff. Being an aficionado of this dish, and having her own special recipe herself, she really loved how the flavors blended. Our guests ordered the Spaghetti di Frutti di Mare, and the Shrimp Louis salad. Both were delicious! I requested the Huckleberry-glazed Salmon, and was delighted with the consistency. The turmeric rice side dish was fantastic as well. Our favorite item was the Flowerpot Bread - a dense, two-toned baked roll, with a crusty shell. Very nice for wiping out all the delicious sauce residue from our meals. The parking was just a minor challenge; it is shared with the restaurant next door, so we ended up parking in what seemed to be boat trailer spots. Fortunately, there were no boats coming or going that evening, but it could be dicey during salmon season. We will definitely be back soon, however, to try out some of the other excellent-looking menu items!

Everyone in line was hungry and excited to get inside and order. When it was my turn, I got the clam chowder and the Captain's Platter with cod as my fish choice. Food came out fairly quick. It was difficult for many guests to move between the tables. During our visit, I saw at least three older customers struggling to navigate the narrow aisles, and one woman on crutches had a particularly hard time getting through. Accessibility is definitely an area that could use some attention. The restrooms were also located outside and, unfortunately, were quite dingy and in need of a thorough cleaning. For lunch, we ordered the fish and chips special, crab cakes, and clam chowder. The clam chowder was the biggest disappointment-there was very little seafood and it was mostly potatoes. The crab cakes were also far too salty. I understand that crab cakes are often seasoned aggressively, but these crossed into territory that made them difficult to enjoy. The fish and chips ended up being the saving grace of the meal: crispy, flavorful, and easily the best dish we ordered. We also shared a kombucha, which was refreshing and paired nicely with lunch. Pricing was reasonable, but for me the food quality and execution didn't quite justify the reputation. Parking was also challenging, especially during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it was an average experience with a few bright spots, but there's definitely room for improvement
